Zach did seem cool. He is truly a gear nerd like most of us. You can tell on these gear videos. I think he's probably using a prs archon amp these days. I would also guess that Paul got on to him about his previous videos with the Gibsons and fenders. Which is why he only had prs now.
why run one herbert clean and another dirty? why not just channel switch? and its not because of different power amp settings because he even said the master and cut is set the same,
Sometimes simple nuances happen when playing live maybe he felt it got a cleaner tone running separate alot of players don't use one amp anymore it's crazy to think of 3 running and honestly that's the norm anymore

I switched to Diezel too. Never going back. They're great to layer together though.
