Love the videos 👍🏼. One boo boo was noticed.. the tech dropped a piece of paper towel into the intake when he removed the next to last towel.. 15:45 -> 15:50
I appreciate these vids you guys make, but in each of them you gloss right over the reinstallation of the egr tube seal gasket into the back of the manifold, and if not done correctly, or if you put it on backwards, or if you push it all the way to the end of the upper egr tube, you'll inevitably get the infamous red lightning bolt flash on your instrument panel and likely go into limp mode. I've made all 3 mistakes. It would also be great if you did just ONE Chrysler 2.7l v6. I think you guys make the best vids around, but only so much is applicable when all of your repairs are done on 3.5's or Hemis. Still, I appreciate the very informative video.

The left valve cover gasket has developed a leak on my 2013 300 v6. Does it make sense to swap out the right valve cover gasket at the same time or leave as is since it's not leaking? Great video, you guys have save us tons of money and have empowered us :-)

I'm about to do this.... I can't find any difference in part number indicating a left and right side gasket. Are they interchangeable as far as driver/passenger side or am I missing something? LoL

On valve cover bolts you say torque to 105 in. lbs. = 9 ft. lbs. But then on the plenum bolts you say torque to 150 in. lbs. = 9 ft. lbs. Which is correct? Thanks, Ron
Hi I have a question I'm doing my valve cover gasket now 12/11/20. So I oppened my cover gasket for this Chrysler 2006 2.7L. All i see once I removed the cover gasket is Full of Grease sticky Oil all around the top of the engine. And even the plastic cover gasket is all Grease and with heavy burn oil on it. So did I did anything wrong or maybe somthing is broken on the gasket cover.the valve cover set still look ok on the both side I haven't removed them yeat. Any idea or should i cleaned out before I reinstall the new cover set gasket. I would appreciated any suggestion guys thanks.
Hi 1A Auto, I have a 2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7L V8 engine, Is it possible to do the valve cover gasket replacement by myself? I brought it in to the mechanic today and they said they needed to tilt the engine in order to remove the bolts to the spark plugs and head gasket. Regards, Sean
Sean Reimer yes you can do it yourself. These are valve covers. Not a head gasket. Big difference. Just did them on my 06 Charger R/T 5. no tilting of the engine is required.
This video don't help a lot if you're working on a Hemi in a Chrysler 300 how I'm trying to figure out how do you get the bottom valve cover bolts out what do you use to get them out

Valve cover 13:00 torque to 9 foot pounds
Intake 17:55 torque to 9 foot pounds
+Fordswgt Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team.
I will be doing this soon. However, the gasket for the intake manifold was replaced recently. I won't have to replace it once again correct?
My mechanic was gonna charge me 700$ for this job so I said nope!! Thank you for this video!!!

Hello, are the gaskets the same for the 2009 Chrysler 300 3.0CRD Diesel ?
+Dr Fret The gaskets are different for the 3.0. Thanks for checking us out!
On a 2010 Chrysler Sebring 2.4 engine what is the spec for torque the valve cover screws back in
I'm about to do this.... I can't find any difference in part number indicating a left and right side gasket. Are they interchangeable as far as driver/passenger side or am I missing something? LoL
+Jason Roney It looks as though they are not side specific. Here is a link to them on our website goo.gl/MpemZj
Hey, would the process for a 2.7L engine be similar to this?
+Jason Jones We currently do not have an auto repair video specific to your vehicle. You might be able to apply some of the basic steps shown in this video to your application. www.1aauto.com
Is this the same for the 2000 model ?
How to replace the heater tube on that same car?
Yours just started spewing coolant too? Lol..
Which way does the gasket face when you put it in the valve cover one end is split and the other end is not
What is the size of the valve cover stud bolts and do you sell them?

Douglas Reynolds bro how the hell did you do it? I can't figure out where to move the wiring and stuff on the passengers valve cover
Dang that's hella easier then the 2001 300m 😠
+AmazonShroom Thank you for checking us out. The 2001 300m had a lot of things in the way making the replacement complicated. 1aauto.com
Great video, but all hardware is metric, then torque is given in standard units...
The amount of ads TH-cam has now is insane
150 inch pounds is not 9 ft lbs.... its 12 ft lbs.... approx.

Damn this job is much easier on the 5.7, don’t have to remove nearly as much
I looked at the link and its for a 2.7 engine not 3.5 😤😤😤😤
