His power and defense have pretty much stayed the same over the years. I know he isn't a young gun anymore, but damn he sure does give us 100%. Munguia was winning the small exchange like the jabs but Canelo clearly had the cleaner punch. I thought Munguia was winning until he got knowdown . Even after the knockdown he still did good against Canelo because he ate so clean shots and still was going forward being aggressive.

I don’t understand why Munguia likes to hunch down when he engaged making himself an easier target of Canelo’s counter punches. He Bivol uses his height and length much better from the distance. His corner should have made the adjustment by controlling the distance.

Munguia was winning the small exchange like the jabs but Canelo clearly had the cleaner punch. I thought Munguia was winning until he got knowdown . Even after the knockdown he still did good against Canelo because he ate so clean shots and still was going forward being aggressive.
