I never noticed Agent Harris actually feeling bad for Tony when Cubitoso played the tape of his mother. It was genuine empathy for a guy who's mother hated him
i know...i liked Harris
No. He was thinking bringing up his mother to flip Tony was the wrong play.
@@deepatel123 that makes sense.
@@deepatel123 exactly!! Playing that tape would only make Tony mad, it wasn't going to make him flip... it was absolutely the wrong play
And how he's embarrassed his boss is putting on airs to impress/intimidate Tony.
20 years inside, and for what? to protect the likes of Borko? Cineranter?
Not to mention that pygmy channel pure kino.. hehehehehe
You're a man ceerious, that's saying a lot these days

The New Jersey FBI's incompetence was plot armour for Tony's mafia. Every series needs plot armour of course
yup
Same thing with the DEA in Breaking Bad.
Yea same with every level of law enforcement in this country.
Obviously no person or organization is perfect. If they were there would be no unsolved murders would there???
Most law enforcement agencies in real life are incompetent. Luckily, the criminals are even worse.
Agreed. Although I do think the trajectory of the show would’ve been very different if Nancy Marchand had lived. Livia testifying over the airline tickets was going to be a big deal and could’ve been a huge win for the feds. Once she died the show pivoted to make the other mobsters and the NY crew a bigger threat to Tony. Notice how Ralph is introduced immediately after Livia dies.
Cubitoso and Harris knew Adrianna was "gone" in that last scene.
Makes me wonder why Agent Harris ended up on Tony’s “side” at the end, knowing he probably had Aide murdered
@@scottmcgilvery8511 He understands that it's the name of the game and the rules they play by. He could've just as easily felt bad for the countless others Tony had killed that he never met
@@casualxxgamerxx9662 for sure by the end he does get the game, but I am not too sure how idealistic he was about protecting society from organised crime the first time he enters the Soprano household - or before that when he signs up to join the FBI
Yeah the only one who was clueless was the DEI hire...go figure.
@@scottmcgilvery8511 Because by then he was on antiterrorism and couldn't care less about organized crime, and having Tony on the good side could let him access to a lot of underground information regarding terrorism. These people care about their career not about serving justice or protecting the public.

You know he's into Richie for 8 large! Send him out!😂
I think it was worth every penny to find out jr was playing short stop for the Mets!
9:22 Adrianna's such a sweetheart , sharing her corn chowder with the agents like that
😄
She ruined everything
it was gabagol
That was macaroni and gravy. She had to ring the corn chowder out of her panties into a bowl for them.
She just couldn't resist the lard bread....
Cubitoso was also in Goodfellas. He played Johnny Dio, the guy who was cooking steaks for everybody when Henry and Paulie were in prison
Adrianna throwing up is a nice touch. The thought of death shook her to her core. It shows how sheltered she actually is is from the life even thought she is so involved with mafia members
That and that she was drinking all the time at this point so she was probably quite pissed.
But why threaten someone whom you want to cooperate with the possibility of getting killed
@RageQuitPros it's a scare tactic. Your family will think you betrayed them, so you might as well stay with us, but we won't protect you if you don't snitch.
@@db153yt That is a horrible tactic, no wonder the feds couldn't make a case against Tony. And that got her killed anyway idk why she even brought it up with Chrissy, he immediately took Tony's side even though he didn't want to
RIP Mr. Pellegrino. A good actor, and a true badass who had billionaires begging to get into Rao’s!
Nooooo!!! I liked Frank Pellegrino so much, was very badass in Gotti (my favorite version) and smartass here in the show, but always like an authetic Italian American FBI chief
Cubitoso was a real smart ass! Not just with the guys they were trying to catch, but with his own team, as well. Frank Pellegrino, who was not really a professional actor-he was one of the owners of Rao’s restaurant-was terrific. I liked how Chase did not portray the FBI as waspy guys who were squeaky clean!
i agree! I wish i got to meet him.
@@ceerious 👍
He was one of the owners of Rao’s restaurant? I bought some of their frozen delicacies from the grocery stores . Interesting
@@ktothec24 He was, yes.
Chase cast a lot of the minor roles with people with little to no acting experience but one of the relatively consistent qualifications is that they act or actually be very Italian American.

Adrianna made the most basic mistake of any person that's been arrested: never _under any circumstances_ speak to the cops, keep your mouth shut & ask to speak to your lawyer. Even after talking to your lawyer, never snitch or say anything to the cops bcuz the cops _can not_ do anything about your charges... only the prosecutor can cut deals. The cops can only write a letter telling the judge you assisted them, which will never get you completely outta your charges. Snitching only gets more people in trouble, it never gets you out of trouble it just gets others hemmed up in your bs
She was so game goofy😔
She should have shut her mouth
FBI for this case is unfair🤔
Here goes another keyboard lawyer, most people need to worry about being swindled by police. Not everyone is an expert on law because they watch true crime shoes
Why didn’t you call and give her that advice?

I always liked the Agent Harris character. You can tell he didn’t like the game the fbi was playing but couldn’t do anything about it.
down to earth. Frank was too though kinda. I've seen worse 😆
FBI has been some grimey players since the day of Hoover. Same Ship different Skipper
For him it was business going after Tony. It was never personal and he liked satriale's. Cubitoso was directly responsible for Adriana's death
@@jefferycrouse4652 It was Adriana's fault for staying with a junkie who hit her. It was Christopher's fault for telling Tony. It was Tony's fault for giving the order. Cubitoso was maybe the 6th or 7th person on the totem pole of whose fault it really was and even then it was indirectly and to take down the mafia.
@@LosOjosTristes I definitely blame Christopher and Tony the most, but Cubitoso is definitely number 3 on the list of blame. You're underplaying the FBI's decision to work through Adriana. She's very clearly not an affective CI. After one or two meetings with her they would have been better off just going to Christopher directly and leveraging his connect to help Adrianna. Or at least coaching her to work Christopher from the get go instead of rushing it like they did. The FBI (at least Harris and Cubitoso) made a high risk, low reward move and they knew it. I understand your inclination to blame Adrianna first, but victims of abuse staying with their abusers is a very complicated subject and, unfortunately, is fairly common in the real world. Before the FBI got involved, Christopher easily could have had her killed just for leaving and probably would have based on his abusive possessiveness of her and his decision that lead to her death. Even if he wouldn't have had her killed, she's financially dependent on Christopher and his mob connections. If she left, she would have to move far away. Moving across town is expensive let alone across the country. All of her jobs except working for Artie were mob jobs. Even Artie's restaurant seems to be fairly dependent on Tony's patronage. She could maybe have leveraged her job experience to land a job on her own merits since she did seem to be pretty good at running the club, but it would be a hard industry to get into if you didn't have any connections. Lastly, her family members and friends were all mob connected. If she wanted to leave she doesn't really have a non-mob support network to help her adjust to a new life. The only non-mob friend she had was "Danielle" which is why she seems more hurt by the reveal than by being busted and why she attaches to Agent Sanseverino when she becomes Ad's handler.

It was that parasite he caught in diarrheastan
Stress of working against the Mafia?
God I hate these FBI agents. She would have gotten probation at worst for a first offense schedule II distribution beef. She ruined her and Chris' lives over nothing. She should have told them to kick rocks
Yup. Once he said “turn her over to pd” I was like oh it wouldn’t be a fed case and she could of easily beat it but the fact that she is irresponsible would still get her taken out because she’s a liability.

What was the probable cause to invade Mrs Adriana's privacy to have this lady agent befriend her to get info from her? in a very concealed and secretive manner? She requested an attorney too late , should've done it from the start.
I find it interesting that at the end of it all, when the news about Adrianna possibly being MIA that they all sat in silence and looked at one another, like they all understood she's gone.
They also Understood it was 100% thier actions that got her wacked... Nice silent moment for all of them there.. Great directing
It's unbelievable how they completely left their informants unprotected. Them letting Adriana go to try and convince Christopher should've never happened. They either just arrest her there if she doesn't want to cooperate or keep her in holding and bring Christopher in if they want to cooperate.
Fbi have never really been good guys ..the person is just a disposable asset😮
There’s an IRL case of a kid in Florida who was arrested for drugs, and was made an informant in exchange for not getting charged. He got killed one month later, and the police nor the college never told his mother.
Up to this day, the college refused to take responsibility.

Imo it wasnt the protection aspect that fucked them, it was that they were pressing wire-wearing on people who A. Wouldnt let their friends/family know about the situation and B. Wouldnt be able to get any information without eavesdropping and surveillance (i.e. hidden cameras, distributing business camera footage). Irl, it would have to be a combination of budget, skill, foresight, and experience issues, and the conflict between the FBI and local detectives- and the crimes they can each attest to.
You are being made soon. Time for your wings

You know what they say about Ladies in Waiting
I never understood how the FBI could casually suggest Sal Bompensiero was killed and not have any interest in solving for it, despite the fact he was last seen alive with Tony Soprano.

You all see Carmila is most hypocrite character on this show😊
Why didnt she request an attorney? Because for an official to befriend anyone solely to get info., violates 4th amendment Illegal Search, then Seizure. Recalling the previous meeting discussion in their office he asked the female agent if - "She'd like a new friend for the next 9 months"., indicating they had to get knowledge and did'nt have any prior., They tricked her to her own death.
She tricked herself into her own death. Her mother warned her, she didn't listen.

@@ceerious - I'll call little Carmine. Maybe brainless the 2nd could help you out.
It shows how these cops don’t give two shits about other people. Adriana was innocent plus not very smart, so perfect Target.
She wasn't really innocent though
She was the weakest link, the easiest 'in' to the Soprano family. Being involved with a crime family, however remotely, takes much cunning and streetwise intelligence. Add a diet of booze n drugs to the mix and mistakes will always be made, just a matter of time.....
Yeah her being all giddy for her criminal boyfriend graduating to the next level of criminal is innocent 😂
Because it’s how they catch criminals but the FBI in real life would never be this incompetent.
@@pyllywaltteri Agreed, she knew what Christopher and the life he led was all about. And she willingly profitted from it untold ways-gifts, lifestyle, nightclub etc. Maybe not a gangster or murderer, but definitely not innocent. Not even close.

With the way Adriana's handler immidiately left the room, I get the feeling she felt bad for her treatment of her.
Most of this cast sure didn’t miss any meals.
12:26 I still get a tad surprised to hear Cubitoso lose his shit and raised his voice at Adriana, especially since he had always been calm and somewhat patient until this point. Comes to show that even a stoic agent like him can get tired of going through years of tedious work and just wants to bring down Tony and his family.
I feel like Agent Ciccerone actually wanted to help Adriana & if things had worked out the way the FBI wanted, Adriana & Christopher would possibly still be alive but, unfortunately, Agent Harris was compromised by his veal parm addiction.

How much time could ya do for a little coke
Since cocaine was distributed on Adrianna's property and the FBI has a recording of her admitting it's her coke, according to New Jersey it could be anywhere between 10-20 years plus a $400k fine. On top of that, because her cocaine was related to a homicide, that's an additional 20-30 years. So depending on how the FBI pushed the narrative and how stupidly Ade handled the situation, she could be in jail for up to 50 years. Obviously it wouldn't be that severe, but that's just enough fear the FBI needs to get Ade to cooperate with them.
7:45 “If I were you, I’d set aside my hurt feelings for a while.” Said by someone who is extremely, possibly even eternally butthurt by Adriana’s mere existence, and disturbingly gets off on torturing her. What an evil loser, just like all the ppl in the mafia.
