@13:30 -- 4+20+4 bytes of memory allocation to the struct is wrong. Compiler does padding so to align all struct fields to word boundaries. Accessing data across word boundaries crashes the program with SIGBUS. A word would've 8 bytes on most systems.

What is padding
@@b.r.v.krishna4215 bits of space left untouched so to allocate memory for the next struct field at the start of the next word boundary so to avoid SIGBUS

*MEMORY IS ALLOCATED* - when any variable is declared using a datatype, it's allocated to the memory. Then why variables inside the structure will not be allocated to the memory?
