- Home gig #24, May 10 2020. This was the first Commodore game I ever finished completely. The main theme restarts when you collect gold, and switches to a minor key when you get hit and transported to the last checkpoint. The balloon ride music is actually a classical melody!
Update: David Crane says he arranged the song for C64 based on the original used in "Saturday Supercade", but composed the minor key portion himself. So who composed the original? According to wiki, Saturday Supercade aired 7 episodes of "Pitfall!" in late 1983, and the official composer is Shuki Levy, but the wiki for Shuki indicates he hired ghostwriters for most of the songs.
Composer: Shuki Levy or uncredited staff at Saturday Supercade
Arranger: David Crane 1984
Balloon ride: "over the waves" by Juventino Rosas, 1888

This is so great. You captured the key moments of Pitfall II on C64 so well.
Nice video, though he missed a key chord right after 2:02 mark. which transitions into the regular song.
And even dressed for the adventure, with the hat and all, good!
You deserve much more subscriptions. I´ll post your Videos on my Facebook account and sites.
Much appreciated!
Nicely done! You are an amazing piano player. Bonus points for using the Commodore 64 version for the gameplay footage.
Very nice. Captures the spirit of the original.. where did you get the sheet music?
I created the sheet music myself. musescore.com/user/2891181/scores/908051
