- Home gig #5, Apr 1 2020. In an interview with Rob Hubbard, he said about this piece "the middle section was an excuse to use the new pitch bend code that I wrote for this project." Obviously I cannot bend pitch on the piano, but I did my best to approximate!.

Compared to guitar, the final part is a lot easier on piano because chord arpeggios are not as tricky.

This just blew me away. Not only is it a great tune, one of the best, but it also looks incredibly hard to play keeping up with those c64 notes :) Btw. Did you go to the 8-Bit Symphony in Hull celebrating Rob Hubbard and others? I did, and it was an amazing night out. Not only for all the great music but also for the chance to meet all my childhood hereos.

Not bad for a music piece that wasn't meant to be played by human hands.
amazing skill, but I think pushing the speed makes unreasonable sacrifices in tempo: it seems like speed variation and gaps between sections would be easier to avoid with lower speed pay

Thx! It so happens I never played this one, but almost all my other C64 piano arrangements are games I played in the 80's.
Amazing but you missed the high score table music.
how long did you take for this ?
It took a full day to create the sheet music based on the SID. It took a week to play it on piano, and another week to memorize. I need to redo it, at slightly slower tempo in order to bring out the melody better, and less mistakes ;)
