  • At William Pitt | Sotheby's Realty, Lance Pendleton trains one of the world's largest organizations of high-end real estate brokers. For most families, buying or selling a home is the largest and most emotional transaction of a lifetime. In this talk, he discusses the ways a talented broker can guide an client through the process to make a decision they will be happy with, using principles from Buddhism. As Chief Innovation Officer for the largest Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate in the world, Lance Pendleton leads William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s innovation labs, sales development programs, agent training and future concept partnerships. Lance disrupts traditional approaches to real estate, creating, envisioning, building and training on next-generation tools for the company, its agents and their clients. As a former corporate sales trainer, business development specialist, speaker and consultant to independent contractors and enterprises across the country, he brings over 15 years of experience in the psychology of sales, personal development, management training and education from a background including three Fortune 500 companies, the most recent being Apple. Lance specializes in the psychology of human behavior within a sales environment with a focus on developing sales professionals who can humanize relationships and anticipate client needs.
