We get to decide how we respond to the ups and downs of life, and if we're open to it, we can even have fun along the way. Maria is a speaker, author, storyteller, dancer and empowerment coach. I had a great therapist that taught me radical acceptance when in an abusive marriage, it saved me in so many ways until I was able to leave.

This is why I love mindfulness meditation. I try to practice it every morning, using a mindfulness workbook called "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels. It's been very helpful. It's so important to learn to let go and move on.
Maria is the only person I could think of that could deliver such an impactful message in a playful yet meaningful way. She makes you laugh but still delivers the message precisely so that you still get the point she's making. I thought of so many situations I could have benefited from radical acceptance and will remember this as we're only getting older, and this is truly the way to live a peaceful and meaningful life.

Something that had been driving me crazy for days maybe even weeks in my mind went away for a moment when I said well that happened what now? I know it will probably come back but now I have five words to ask, I just have to remember them! If I could have done that yesterday it would have saved me hours of tears.
