The sheer beauty of vintage racing in unmatched. I saw F5000 in person many times and they were fire breathing monsters. Just awesome. Thanks for your channel!
Me too! Watched the Derek Bell race from the Chicane g/s and froze stiff! Had to get up and move around and found somewhere inside with a screen (the Gymnasium - used to be the Hurricane Cafe) to watch the Gerry Marshall race. Then made tracks home feeling disappointed we didn't (couldn't) see more races. Back next year though!
It was really cold yes, I think we stayed until 5 or 6 pm before returning to Folkestone to take the Eurotunnel. Too bad we didn't run into each other!
Great sights and sounds. Have you considered getting some quotes from the drivers ? If possible that is, those vlogs are great as they are anyway. Group 5 cars are mental, one of the great eras of motorsports. Personally I like F5000. There are some races here on youtube and I think those cars are highly entertaining.
Yes we have actually considered doing some interviews. We were planning on doing some before actually going to Goodwood but once we were there we were just constantly running around the circuit trying to get everything we wanted to get for all the videos we plan on making and for the vlog and just didn't find the time to do some interviews sadly enough. If we had a third guy to help us out with filming it'd be possible without a doubt but the Members Meeting is only 2 days and all the races followed up on each other extremely quickly. So the only break we took was to eat something, but when we do get the chance we're going to try and get in some interviews!
Don't bend over backwards. I can totally understand how this is a lot of work and how difficult it is to get all the footage. Interviews would be nice but as I said before your videos are great anyway.

Love F5000, saw them back in the day at The Glen. Just amazing along with CanAm. I never miss a chance to see them again.
Really shows how this is not just a parade. They really push these classics! I had no idea. Terrific footage. Thankyou👍👍
Goodwood is always a push to the finish! It's unreal how hard some drivers push priceless cars
F-5000 cars are awesome and they sound great!!!
Exactly!
Formula 5000 was a great series. Awesome sound and Sharp cars. Dan Gurney Cup footage excellent!
Thanks!
Ahh those fabulous F-5000s what a sound
12:35 OMG never get tired of listening to this shot of the green GT40 ... so awesome.
I see where you're coming from, since it's the exact reason as to why I put it in the video! It's just too good :D
The editing is amazing and so is the quality! Keep it up!
One word..... awesome !
Nice event, I love your vlogs, it's beautiful! Continue like that and see you next event !
Sure will! Thanks
Great to see. Thanks for putting up with the biting cold and zero temperatures to bring us this vlog.
You can almost smell the hot oil!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
As always some fantastic sights and sounds despite the freezing conditions, especially the 512 bb lm. Thank you.
You're welcome, thank you for the comment!
Amazing group 5
Once we got on to the racing, absolutely first rate stuff! That's a good corner for spins, it looks like.
You can tell some drivers had way too much fun in some turns. :)
The guy in the blue BMW 320 was bonkers!
Hell yeah! He was flooring it after the turns, just like the guy @10:16 , 12:46 :P
The F5000 cars seemed fairly un driveable under the conditions. Still awesome to see these cars run hard.
great trip with some beasts
Thankyou for the great footage! Keep it up!
Thank you for giving us quite the show and for the chat ;) Amazing car you have!
I went to day two day of the Members meeting and ended up going home about 3pm because it was so cool!

Bet the GT40 driver at 10:47 had to change his underwear after that
Did anyone wave a flag after that GT-40 spun out? I sure didn't look like anyone slowed down going through that turn.
The GT40's have a good trick dumping oil so nobody can get close to them.....
First
we should not run on fuel, Nikola Tesla said it in early 1900, ce monde est obsolète.
