Just a beginners tip: You dont have to slowly let out the clutch while you are rolling, its only when you are stationary that you have to let it out slowly, if you let it our too fast your motor will stall.

Guys, I purposely said this. Any beginner just starting out learning how to ride with a clutch should not be starting a quad or bike in gear with the clutch pulled in. That's an accident waiting to happen. If you're watching the video and already know you can start your quad while it's in gear with the clutch pulled in, the video is not meant for you. How easy do you think it would be to transfer my driving skills to a bike considering i'm pretty good in a car (drifts and powerslides come easy to me) but just never felt a draw to bikes/quads? I know it's a daft question lol....
Mr. Dodo i learned on an atv first a 450r (still ride) and then i already knew everything when driving stick so i taught myself, for you it’s going to be super easy it’s like stick but using ur hand as clutch and feet as the “stick”

You can also start atv by holding in clutch while in any gear to start without putting atv into neutral.. pulling in clutch is basically like being in neutral

Hey I just got 2000 Yamaha warior 350 , is my first time driving a squad I am slowly learning but I have a question , whenever I am in high gears I can stop and slowly pull the clutch and let it go every time I downshift gears ? Or I can hold the clutch and down shift gears ?

Either! Whatever your preference is. Typically I'll sit in 1st with the clutch pulled in, but sometimes if its a long red light I'll put it in neutral and let the clutch out

You don't seem confused at all, that's exactly right. To stop, lets say you're in 3rd gear, pull the clutch in and apply brakes to come to a stop. Then you'll want to downshift into 1st once you're ready to start moving again. I usually down shift as I'm slowing down (with the clutch in of course), So when I've slowed down a bit ill shift into 2nd, then 1st as I'm coming to a stop. Ride Safe!

For example, say you're cruising in 4th gear and you want to downshift to 3rd and then to 2nd. The process is this: pull in the clutch, push the throttle a bit so your engine revs up, downshift to 3rd and let your clutch out. Repeat the process to downshift to 2nd.
I just got a new quad today. I do not know how to use it the guy kept asking aren’t you going to put it in the garage. Id had to make an excuse that I had to clean my garage.. I had to push it in Because I don’t not know how to use it this video help me thanks man

For example it would be bad for you to shift from 5th to 2nd without slowing your quad down between shifts

+Kenny Ruch Hey Kenny, You can definitely do that. However, shifting gears while stopped can sometimes be a pain but it's perfectly okay to do. And to shift into reverse you'll want to be in 1st gear
What if your going really fast and you want to stop because there is a kid crossing or something when you break do you also shift to first gear right away ?
Yes you get the idea. Neutral is a half click between 1st and 2nd. You dont actually have to shift up twice to get into second just once.. neutral is literally in between 1st and 2nd that's why I say a half click or shift up from 1st is neutral. Hope that clears it up some

You can turn on the quad without it being in neutral as long as your holding in your clutch

I have a raptor 700, a good first quad if you're on a budget is a raptor 350 or a Honda ex400. They are both super reliable and good to start out on

I got the new 2021 700r I can started it in frist and second for some reason any reasons for that ???

No you need to slowly go through the gears as you slow down

No just pull your clutch in and brake. Shift down after you stop if it's really an emergency stop.
