Sometimes they agree, sometimes they don't. If you increase the fare for lower berths, people who have paid more will likely refuse to swap. With India's high population, people will pay extra for lower berths, and they will never be available. No matter what you do, lower berths will always be in demand

By rule lower seats is reserved for senior citizens in Indian Railways, nothing wrong with that. I don't want my 55 yr old mother to climb up to upper seat and be troubled with a stiff joint pain at middle of night.

Sahi kaha.. Bangalore airport pe ek baar meri ek luggage airport k bahar hi chhut gayi thi.. Bahar jaa kar usse lene me itni problem hui thi ki mood hone laga tha ki uss luggage ko bahar hi chhor doon.. infact CISF wale mujhe Gher kar mujhse questions karne lage the 25-30 minutes Tak. Phir dogs squad aayi aur luggage check ki..Luggage khol kar sare items bahar nikaal kar Checking hui.

haa yarr train ka hall bahot kharab hai. maine 2nd ac ka book kiya aur journey 28hrs ka prefrence dala aur luckly side lower mila. lekin 8 hrs ke baad ek family aaye 3 logo ki usmein 1 5 sall ka baccha tha woh raat ke 3 baje board kiya aur uthya boli mera baccha meko berth de do upar chale jao. aur maine nhi diya bahot need aa rhi thi usko nhi. usne subah aise react kar rhi jaise usne meko ticket kharid ke diya 10 hrs the woh family unte der kharab kar diya
