The song has been a mainstay in all my media devices since the days of compact disk walkmans- to this day in My phone. This is fascinating to be able to get the mind's eye perspective from the one who created the song. I come from a strong religious background and the song has always resonated with me as a unification of our programming. A musical summary or microcosm of Humanity as a whole. Religious or not.. we all have some form of GOD in one way or another- We as humans will "deities" many things...be it Music, politics, Money, power, celebrities, even animals. Basically anything to fill that void. And in the end... God is God
