To lower the ding -- put both lines on the winch concurrently -- easy down. To hoist the ding -- double lines on the winch may be a tight squeeze -- worth a try.
Aw Spain. The land of my ancestors. Wish you all the best and love watching your channel. Captain you are so awesome to watch and your videos are so beautifully made. One day will join you all !!
Bobby, you are a bamf! I respect your show and have been learning a ton from it. I myself am a maintenance tech. and have always had a kind of draw to go sailing. My plan is to retire around age 50 and make it happen. 33 now so that's quite a ways away, but meanwhile ill try to throw in maybe some chartered tours as the years go by. Thank you for the education, friendly laughs, and beautiful girls!
It is rare that I ever comment on the sponsor of a video. Actually, this is the first time. But Bobby and the girls nailed that Babbel ad. It was funny and appropriate for the rest of the video.
This has become more than a YT channel. This is to me a docu series of various cool sailing destinations. Boater education, global education. Beem watching for years now. No better channel in my humble opinion. Lol love it and would love to be a Deckhand for a week what a blast that would be.
Thanks Bobby and Bryce? For the spectacular videography as this one is next level as they say. Thanks for taking us on your adventures and let Steph known how much we love and appreciate her. Much love , Bud and Rene
I cruised those waters back in 2001. I was on a much larger boat but just the color of the water brings back fond memories. Travel safe. Looking forward to your boat tour video!
Definitely a noticeable difference in “cinematic” feel. Whatever changed, it was for the better. Looks like more than a camera upgrade. The focus pulls and slower motion editing was great.
Spent 2 years in Germany while in the US Air Force, hope we get to hear a little more about what part of Germany Lotta calls home. It was 40 yrs ago for me, I was stationed at Ramstein AB, but I rode all over on the train system and visited many cities along the Rhine... My best friend was stationed in Wiesbaden, so I spent a lot of time in that area... such a beautiful country!!
I had to go back an study the different video tweaks the kiwi did on this video. Brice did a great job and certainly put a new "feel" to the video. Great camera angles and well timed slow motion cuts. Now I'm assuming Brice did some of the editing because of the sudden style change. But, if I'm incorrect, great job to person that completed the edit.
Wow ! I've always loved your videos by the past and seen some step up in the editing but here we are in another level ! Wow looks like you've found someone great to help you out ! Even if this Falcon 900 is pretty old, it look wonderful ! That's travelling in style :)
Great video & adventure. Steph is back in her class of her own. She is looking adorable & beautiful & a true gem as usual. What are you waiting for Bob? Keep the videos coming Bob.
When you said Falcon 50 I had to pause and deal with my jealousy for a second before continuing the video. My old neighbor Mr. Don Hill flew a Falcon 50 for Nortel back in the day.
It would be possible to re-rig the davits so that a single line served both; you would have to add a couple more pulleys so that the line that is tied off to the lower block is redirected across to the other davit. You're not going to do that to a rental boat, but it would be worth doing to your own
I've never seen it done but is there any reason not to run two separate lines on the same winch? It seems plausible since they are the same diameter and paying out at the same rate unlike doing a jib and spiniker or most other pairings. With only two wraps per line there should be more than enough room on the drum.
Bobby, when I was a fledgling pilot learning to fly, a buddy asked me. “Do you want to learn to fly, or do you want to be rich enough to own your own plane?” I wanted to learn to fly. I wasn’t rich enough to complete my Instrument rating, so I did what I could. You are constantly surrounded by pretty girls sail into exotic places and have friends who own private jets. I thought that I was lucky!
The Flotillas sound cool. What a terrific idea! I like the way you take inexperienced crew aboard, too. You no doubt have plenty of offers from long time sailors.
I spent a week in Palma in the early 80's. Beautiful place to visit! Lots to see and the people were awesome there! Oh my. Actually met a young lady there who's name was Lotta also. Palma was my first stop overseas. Bunch of us went to the beach. Totally didn't realize that European women have no problem taking their tops off at the beach! After getting there, you could see a bunch of young American males jumping into the water to hide! We were all 18-19 years old. Consequently, a few young women, tourists from all around Europe, came over and introduced themselves to us. To say we had a blast there is an understatement! I hooked up with Lotta! Obviously not the one in your video! But just as pretty! A time i will never forget! Stay safe!
I have been watching sailing doodles on and off for over 3 years now, While you are in the Mediterranean, why don't you try and come over to Malta. :))
I've never been on a sail boat, but I bet you could run both ropes on the winch at the same time for the davit system. One toward the top and one near the bottom of the winch?
Hey Bobby try wrapping both ropes around the winch at the same time open both clutches and lower away...
That sounds like it would work.
The commercial was the best part of this video!!
So so very nice to see Gigi! ❤️ Miss her VERY MUCHO!!!
Who is Gigi? Those two ladies names were said, but the names were not Gigi. What did I miss?
Best Babble advert on TH-cam.
Yes always great to have a friend with a jet! Best way to travel!
To lower the ding -- put both lines on the winch concurrently -- easy down.
To hoist the ding -- double lines on the winch may be a tight squeeze -- worth a try.
I like the way Bob travels!
Always good to have a friend like Bob around 😳
I think Bob does ok for himself...
i remember Bob from a previous video. he raced boats with his daughter, cool dude, glad he's back hanging out with you and Steph,
Nice to have a friend like Bob! Lol
Love that little teaser with "G" in it! Bobby...... you ole MOTOBOATIN' SOB!
Great cinematography and super chill. Great work Bobby. You and your crew make it look like old hat.
The cinematography is great in this one
Aw Spain. The land of my ancestors. Wish you all the best and love watching your channel. Captain you are so awesome to watch and your videos are so beautifully made. One day will join you all !!
Keep living that dream Bobby & crew!....
New camera and / or cinematographer brings the story telling to another level. Videos are even more enjoyables. Good choice.
Emma seems like good fun for Bob. Good for you, Bob!
Bobby, you are a bamf! I respect your show and have been learning a ton from it. I myself am a maintenance tech. and have always had a kind of draw to go sailing. Thanks for kind words, man! Maybe see you out there on the seas someday...
@@Sailingdoodles That would be lit!
It is rare that I ever comment on the sponsor of a video. Actually, this is the first time. But Bobby and the girls nailed that Babbel ad. It was funny and appropriate for the rest of the video.
Bobby and Steph that meal looked awesome!!!! Wow this one was like a Fantasy for most people!!!!!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Glad to see you back on a boat and sailing especially in the Med. Cant wait to see the next video.
0:47 "Flying Class" sounded good to me woman. You know what they say about you is true. What do they say? Well, mostly good things.
This has become more than a YT channel. This is to me a docu series of various cool sailing destinations. Boater education, global education. Beem watching for years now. No better channel in my humble opinion. Lol love it and would love to be a Deckhand for a week what a blast that would be.
SV Delos is good too.
@@bradgradert tks, I'll go check SV Delvos out.
Best footage/filming from this crew. Well done.

@4:53 He's not joking. Navigare is terrific.
Welcome to Spain 🇪🇸, beautiful country and beautiful people ❤️.
When Steph is smiling on the deck in the sun, you know it's going to be a good trip! Great video Bobby, thanks for all the great camera work.
These Flotillas sound so freaking awesome! I am going to be envious when you guys get down there, looks like a blast is had by all.

It’s great to see you back on a boat Captain Bobby. TheFalcon was a nice touch. Traveling in style! 😎😎👍🏽👍🏽🍾🍾
you live an oh so charmed life Bob . Dam such a lucky guy .
He is fortunate. And he earns it through a lot of work and skill.
Bobby,
Your cinamaphotography is getting awsome....awsome blur to focuse and slow mo.....nicley done
I was in the Navy on Perry Class Frigate, 4000 tons 453 ft long, ships helm is about 3 inches in diameter! That cat has a 5 ft helm, lol.
your camera is dope!!!!👌next level cinematic content from here on out
Geraldine!!!!😊😇😁😘😍🥰❤💋👏🙌👍🎉
Hey Bobby, great video as always! Congrats on the additional flotillas upcoming, definitely enjoyed the videos from the first event.
Beautiful Video Stephanie as beautiful as ever, looking forward to the next one, pity Majorca got cut short oh plus Burning Man Vid. 😊😊😊
That is the biggest Falcon 50 I have ever seen!! Looks like it might be a Falcon 900 to me.
Agreed. With that flat floor and range, it’s a 900! I’ve thousands of hours in both, I should know.
And I Thought Bob was a “Corporate Guy”😂
10:50 Bobby you numpty!: Just put wrap both the fore and aft lines of the dinghy around the winch at the same time and slack them together!!
i enjoyed the vibe of this one
Some sweet B Roll Bobby
Don't know what camera you upgraded to, but the cinematic quality went way up in this video. It looks really really good.
The audio was excellent as well.
Definitely a noticeable difference in “cinematic” feel. Whatever changed, it was for the better. Looks like more than a camera upgrade. The focus pulls and slower motion editing was great.
Agree with this comment. Well done.
Remarkably like a top-notch advertisement.... imagine that?
there's 360 cam, please share which one
Looks like you have a new crewman who is good with the camera. Looks like a great event.

Always great with you guys at the discos around that time in Hessen ! Remember Cooky's in Frankfurt and World in Kassel!
Loved my TDY’s at Rammstein AB and going to visit Wiesbaden, I really need to go back. Loved my visits to Germany.
great video great work on the camera skills 👌

You really leveled up the production value on this video Bobby; kudos. Looks like a spectacular trip.
Great video & adventure. Steph is back in her class of her own. She is looking adorable & beautiful & a true gem as usual. What are you waiting for Bob? Keep the videos coming Bob.

I really like the editing on this video. Lots of cool views. :)
Bobby, I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. The edit on this one was excellent! ✌️
One of the better videos in a while 👍🏻
I love watching you guys
When you said Falcon 50 I had to pause and deal with my jealousy for a second before continuing the video. My old neighbor Mr. Don Hill flew a Falcon 50 for Nortel back in the day.
Just a really great video Bobby. It checked a lot of boxes.
Hi Bobby. Great job in special effects and all the edits. Nice location in Spain.

Wonderful Spain trip, boat and flight experience really great cinematic views, very useful detailed information congratulations to all 🙏
Bob is who I want to be when I grow up.🙂
I am guessing Bob is Hedge Fund which is a great place to be. Congrates Bobby on the flotilla.
Nice tease with the thumbnail Bobby.
Trip the life fantastic!

Nice haircut, Bob !
I were staying in Santa Ponsa in the hotel next to the blue one you see at 10.15 from september 16 to 19, so I probably had a Bobby view 😅
Oh that made me miss Gee!
So Bobby if you're leading the flotilla doesn't that mean you're now the Commodore ? You need a Sailing Doodles Commodores Pennant to fly!!
I spent a week in Palma in the early 80's. Beautiful place to visit! Lots to see and the people were awesome there! Oh my. Actually met a young lady there who's name was Lotta also. Wow! Great camera work!
You went to Santa Ponca (Pontha, not Ponka) which is where my house is. About 600m from the beach. Hope you enjoyed the sailing.
If Bobby is around , there's some nice Hinnies around and around ....
This one was awesome! Boat, crew and SPAIN look amazing!!
I loved that film guys. Looks so nice ou there. Love yu
I have been watching sailing doodles on and off for over 3 years now,
While you are in the Mediterranean, why don't you try and come over to Malta. :))
Palma, one of my fav places on earth
Nice crew and boat!
I was in Santa Ponsa when you were there, saw the boat but didn't realise it was you guys! 😄
Talk about pumping up the videography!
I've never been on a sail boat, but I bet you could run both ropes on the winch at the same time for the davit system. One toward the top and one near the bottom of the winch?
Yup, was thinking the same. What say you Bobby?
Amazing video and editing in the second half, asume is Bryce filming and editing?...he's very good.
Oh man…we’ll be in the USVI Dec 4-10. Maybe we’ll run into you guys if you’re in the islands early!
Drunk woman gone and back on track😊😊
I see what you did there. You got me to watch your babble ad.
