We are still working on the build of a 65' powered cat. will be another year possible till first sea trials. BTW almost always partaking of frozen margaritas when watching. LOL :) . One other reminder. Do not make Steph mad as when she was pulling in the moring, she showed she has four hands... you don't have a chance. LOL The dresses were terrible.... but the ladies made them look amazing. So I guess the dresses were amazing. Your videos... are just getting better and better.
Funny coincidence - I was watching Parlay Revival and they mentioned they replace a computer once a year because of salt air. Buy the warrantee! Love your channel!

Steph is an absolute Goddess. The more I watch these videos the Neel seems to be the way to go. What I love about the boat is the speed and the interior. Never thought a Tri-hull would provide so much. WOW, the ladies in evening gowns were wonderfully gorgeous, Steph of course was the best.
Great video! I hope you get your laptop working properly. If the cooling fan is turning, you might try to get a can of compressed air and blow out the vents. They get dust in the vents and it causes them to heat up.

You might try some compressed air into the cpu air vents. There is a chance it is simply FOD in this case lint caught in the heat dissipation fins restricting air flow to the internal fan.
Your overheating laptop may simply be clogged with dust. Sometimes they can be fixed by blowing out the air passages with an air compressor. Could also be a failed cooling fan. Still a lot cheaper than $4k.

You said your laptop shuts down when your cpu hits 30c? It has been a few years since I had to do IT work but most CPUs that I worked with were able to run above 50c. I have a little Raspberry Pi that I am writing software for and it runs over 50c and the fan doesn’t even start until the cpu hits 50c. So I am thinking you should try and find the settings for temperature control. There is probably a setting there for what temperature the laptop shuts down.

Wife's laptop was blue screening. Two different antiviruses pulling on the same file was the cause. Removed AVG. Tested for 7 days straight operation with no issue. hope this helps.

Yes that's what I was thinking either the fan or the thermal paste or the fan screws fell out. Easily fixable for cheap either way.

30C is only 86 degrees Fahrenheit that should not cause it to shut down it is something else besides temp.
It's a high temp if he's rendering for long periods and the CPU is st or near full usage.
Pull the keyboard cover off your laptop and clean the cooling fan. Every laptop is different how the fan is accessed. Google it. Your fan is clogged
