I found your videos during grad school, and when I was struggling through a very difficult romantic relationship where I was so horribly sad and stuck. COVID hit in the middle of all of that, but you guys remained a constant in my life. Your consistent optimism and willingness to push through any difficulty with grace and a smile was the boost I needed. I got through grad school, left that terrible partner and am doing so much better. Every time your videos pop up on my feed, I'm reminded of how far I've come, and to see you guys still doing what you love no matter what hurdles come your way puts a smile on my face every time. I don't think you guys realize how many people you've influenced and brought comfort to. Thank you both.
These guys are hands down the best sailing TH-cam show online, Funny, Informative, have great camera work and are so comfortable in front of the camera and best of all zero preaching about saving the planet or talking about mental health. These guys make you want to find a life partner and go sailing for ever .
I totally agree with you. Life is ment to help teach us about Love and compassion for our fellow people and creatures on this planet and for spoiling our spouses, children, and our pets or also called fur babies. Love is the glue that holds everything together in our Universe. Once you know that, you learn about energy, frequency and vibration because they are the keys to unlock all the answers in our Universe. Nikola Tesla said that back in 1898.
Great to see favorite people back on the water. Love your enthusiasm and love of the water. Watching your adventures means so much to a 88 year old ex captain.
The Ocean fixes everything....we choose to cruise on lines since I am 73, but it's really the same, Big Blue does not disappoint ever! Nothing puts you in your place like a vast sea of clear blue water as far as the eye can see! Love this big blue marble! Thank you God!
So glad that you found your happy place Nikki. We found ours a few years back. We are full time travels/explorers as well, and having the time of our lives!
If one needs to live their life vicariously, this is the channel to do it on. The cinematography is really top-notch, the actors are interesting, knowlwdgeabe and pleasant, and the sets are amazing.
Happy 17th Anniversary. It's not easy to peacefully live shoulder to shoulder aboard a 42 ft sailboat for months on end. Congratulations!! Nikki, I like your new hair style. IMO, you are, without doubt, the the prettiest woman sailing catamarans in the Pacific. Jason, you is one lucky dude. I have been watching your channel for years and look forward to seeing you in your new HH42. Thanks for another beautiful episode. Here is a toast to "fair winds and calm seas", cheers.
...which made me think about how long I've been following these guys. I bought their RV "Windy" in 2013 or early 2014 and sold it late 2015 to a guy from Texas, right before I went to Spain. So I think I've been following these guys since 2012. Wow!!
I remember watching that first video of you two rolling up to Just Cats and thinking you were nuts but at least it will be entertaining. 7 years later you have yet to disappoint me. But,at last for us you have inspired and motivated me. We have a small boat now on amazing cruising grounds. My kid is about to become a Jr. Sailing instructor. Life is good. Thank you!
Very nice, love the change of pace with Y'all back on the Water! You guys always deliver to us arm chair travelers! Thank you, for bringing us along. That cave experience was awesome, I was ducking and horrified when Nikki almost got hit in the face by a paddle! I am so glad you took the stroll on the beach alone and not with 100 other people. The food store was so cool, using banana leaves to hold the produce? What a nice Charter Co., so many thoughtful items, and loading all your stuff for you onboard! Thoroughly considerate and diligent care for their customers! Those long boats with the Auto Engine are outrageous! Genius! Amazing! Great Video, you sweethearts are living the Life! Be safe, last week was my Birthday, this is a great treat! As an old Sailor this took me back to chartering a Newport 26 on Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho; depth in center of natural lake, 11,000'! Thank you for the refreshing view of life in Thailand!
been following for some time but this episode touched me..when that lady said "this is where I want to be" her words touched me, not many of us can say that and she said it without any hesitation and she's not into using shallow chatter, these two people are having a happy life, you have our blessings
Oh gosh Happy 17th Anniversary Nikki and Jason! What a beautiful gift for yourselves, and thank you immensely for sharing with us! I'm so glad you chose the clear water route! Your underwater videophotography was beautiful! So many creatures I have never seen before! Delightful! The scenery is so huge and majestic there, almost the reason there is no wind: relax, take it in, enjoy the marvels of it all, it's soul candy is what it is saying!❤❤
I think choosing the direction of the cleaner water was a no-brainer. The silty water isn't appealing to me. I like being able to see what's in the water. This was a nice adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Charlevioux!!!! Yesss!!!! Someone who actually calls out Michigan Sailing as a legit Sailing experiance!! Weve sailed lake Charlevioux on our Hobie 16 and had an aweosme day.
We've been chartering "big boats" (we have a 26' trailer sailer) for 12 years and its a great way to experience the nautical life. It also as Jason said shows the "wear" items on the different boats and teaches you to adapt, as we have rarely had the same boat type twice, and often had equipment and instrument challenges; but I've never had as nice a dinghy as you two had.
Your path may have been “unconventional” but that’s probably what made your content so engaging. We viewers like to feel immersed in the adventure and part of that was learning with you. No matter, I thoroughly enjoy your videos and hope for many many more!
WOW! You were spot on about there being no place like home! I can not imagine going off the road- full-time RVers for 15 years, I don't want a house, land, or anything that binds me. I love the freedom we have. You have shown us some amazing things this past year and we greatly appreciate it, but watching you back on the water, you are home! Thank you.
It’s so good to see you back on the water. You guys make the best videos. It’s like watching National Geographic, but with people you know running the show. Super high quality with super engaging people. Love it!
Just to add to your comments about chartering. We had a flotilla holiday in the Ionian earlier this year. If you are a newbie to sailing and want to sail with the least amount of stress, then go on a flotilla holiday. You have the choice to go alone some day/ nights. But generally you have a support crew that is with you and can help you with any challenge. And still enjoy the benefits of sailing.
Was sitting at the Airstream Factory Service Center and out in the Terraport we met a nice woman in for Airstream service like us. Day later we find out she is your Mom. We enjoyed our days broken down in service and chatted. Seems you were at the time stuffing furniture into a hole in your boat! GASP! Mary stopped to see us in Florida on a trip such a nice lady. Anyway you pioneered the RV TH-cam and now are living a Boat dream. You Tube made it happen. Glad for ya! -Hervey and Ruth
I was thinking years ago I seen a older guy that used a old straight shaft weed eater motor and long shaft with a metal fan blade connected to the end of the shaft and he had a bottom plate to keep the blade safe from hitting rocks, weeds, or anything that could damage the thin fan blades. But he has it attached to back of his old flat back or tail canoe and he could go all over but the best part of his canoe was his outrigger plastic pvc pipe he had attached to his aluminum canoe. I seen him jumping a good size log, nobody else could follow him to that fishing area. I talked to him after when he come back over that log, aka big tree that was blown over from the storm. He told me he got that idea from the long boats in your video here. People can learn great things from poor men trying to survive in this world.
Very Nice! It is so refreshing to see a couple who just enjoys life and have found what they want. I especially like the calming nature of your work. I am a senior and tend to get " uptight" sometimes and then I tune in to you folks. Thank You!
Awesome that you're celebrating your anniversary on the charter boat. Can't wait till you get your “home on the water” in May. Sooooo excited for you guys! 🌺
The landscape/seascape is absolutely stunning! The more I see this area the more I want to go there. Awesome times for a 18th anniversary... congratulations!!!!
The Wynns back on the water. The happiness could be felt through the screen. I hope you had a great week “sailing” (no wind!) and recharged your batteries. My wife and I are working on year 28, so congrats on your anniversary. You got us through COVID and we are fans for as long as you produce content.
I’m so glad y’all made this trip happen. I could sense how heart weighed each realization of time and space met your thoughts almost to the extent that you wouldn’t have to say anything more about the moments. Man if we could capture that universe in a bottle or sippy cup we’d be so wealthy beyond criticism. I’m favoring the sippy cup cuz I’d want to slow things down to treasure the completeness of the time. Of course we envy you but not to an unhealthy point. Just thankful that you share the bounty you’ve found. It wasn’t missing, of course, just without our grasp at the moment. Y’all enliven my dwindling time immensely, and I thank/love ya for it. Be safe. Be good.
7 years!?!? When you said 7 years of sailing, I thought you must be mistaken. But oh my goodness, no, it’s been 7 years of sailing! It really feels like it was just a few years ago. Now, thinking about the Roy days when I started watching, that was a DECADE ago. It’s honestly unbelievable. I had come across your channel through Fleetwood’s RV quick tip series. I had initially started watching because of the RV life that you lived, it was just how I would have taken the approach. (I like the boondocking and your setups that you had for that. I don’t love RV parks.) When you switched to sailing life, I wasn’t sure that I was going to keep watching. But then I became fascinated with sailing. (Although you’re the only sailing channel I watch.) The reason I continued to watch you is because of your personalities, energy, morals, and goals. It’s not because of what you do, it’s because of who you are! Here is to another 17 years, whether that be on the water or land or maybe even somewhere else one day!
I love Thailand. The people, the food, the culture, the views. Such a great place in the world. It is very nice seeing you guys back on the water even though we are thoroughly enjoying the land adventures you have take us on. Thank you for sharing. Happy Anniversary.
Thank you Nikki, for realizing the boat life is so very much worth the trade offs from the land life. One day, maybe one day, I’ll get the chance to appreciate the same for more than a day or two. Land life dreaming for the water life!
Oh how I have missed your boat/sailing life. To me the water is very calming and you capture the most wonderful moments under water. Can't wait for you to get your new boat and see your vlogs from your new vessel. Until then I will continue to watch you on land or sea from Central North Carolina. Take care and be safe!!
There's a Dutch couple out there that started out by chartering a Lagoon 380 for a few months, sailed around Norway, found the boat was too small, commissioned a Lagoon 52S, sailed it for a year or two, found they didn't like the sailing characteristics, commissioned an Outremer 55 and are now sailing around the world with GLYWO. Their channel is Cat Greatcircle. Having a cat that can get up to 18 knots with the wind on a beam or even 27 knots in high winds with a following sea seems to be fun. Light wind performance is also impressive... turning 4-5 knots of tailwind into 3.8 knots of boat speed or 7 knots of beam reach into 7 knots of boat speed is impressive. The boat is not exactly cheap, though. ;-)
So great to be back on the water with you! I always feel like I am there. Though I can't hold my breath that long when I dive with you, I did find myself trying! I get to travel without worrying about flights and passports and VISAs and who's going to take care of my cats. But watching the sunset over the water makes me really want to be there.
Those long tail boats are so cool but also so polluting! We couldn't get over how much black smoke came out of them. Thanks so much for sharing this adventure with us. I miss Thailand all the time and it's great to be able to live vicariously through you!
Thailand is almost as pretty as you, Niki. Love your hair cut! I think we are all excited for you to be back in your happy place and it's much deserved after the last four years. Cheers to many more years of sailing and celebrating ❣
You would be hard pressed to find such one of a kind beauty anywhere else in the world. The fantasy like island, OMG. Groovy episode. Nice to see you two back on the water doing what you do best; being free and groovy.
Your photography is impressive. I took a step away for a while, have watched a bunch of sailing channels - and came back to watch one your latest videos and wow, your photography is just simply awesome. Thank you for sharing your journeys.
I want to share with you some of my earliest experiences with catamarans during the 1990s. I lived near Annapolis where a local company was producing the Geminii 31st. In theory, the Gemini was faster because of having no ballast. However, by the time you added people and cruising gear, it squatted in the water and was slowed by the additional wetted surface. The industry soon realized that 31 feet was too short to be an effective cruiser and began developing hulls 40 foot and longer.
Just wanted to congratulate you on the production quality of your videos.. Awesome drone photography, superb editing, great sound and non-intrusive, well chosen music. You are both very talented film makers. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us :)
It’s been a while now but there was a time when I thought I was watching enough sailing channels and always passed over “Gone either the Wynns”. However, after the first video it became my favorite. This video features an amazing destination. I’m looking forward to the new boat with much anticipation. I love the Wynns.
Such a beautiful video for so many reasons. Those of us drawn to the water totally understand your passion. So interesting to see what chartering a boat is like - what a lovely experience!
So good to see you back in your happy place! Listening to Nikki describe the reaffirmation she had about the lifestyle and her love of it, gave me all the feels. 🥰 What a beautiful place to celebrate your anniversary. 💗
Watching one of your videos is always refreshing and now I’ve been around long enough, that it feels like home the most when I’m coziest up watching your latest adventure
Thanks for mixing it up and getting out on the water again.. Such a beautiful video! Thanks for taking us along on your newest adventure. (I don't know if I could have watched another boat building video; even though it is interesting, it's not why I enjoy your channel. And that was NOT intended to be a mean comment. just an honest one.)
Happy Anniversary to you both! You are amazing film makers, working so hard to share your experiences with us. Loved this adventure - we have done several two-week crewed charters in the Aegean and Ionian Seas on a Lagoon 500 and loved every minute of our time on board. We chose crewed charters as we had limited sailing experience, and didn’t want the stress of dealing with language problems in port, dealing with bad weather etc. We had a very experienced local skipper and a wonderful chef/mate. Breakfast and lunch on board, evenings in the island tavernas, just glorious! We learned so much on board, and I would recommend this approach to those new to sailing.
I read a story once about the Two Foot Boater. He started with a thirty five footer, and decided real soon he needed a thirty seven footer. So he traded up. Wasn't long before he had a thirty nine. Then a forty two, then a forty five. Then he decided it seemed to make no difference how big the boat was, he needed one about two feet bigger. We discovered that with motor homes also: 32', 35', 38', no slides, 1 slide, 2 slides. 17 years and counting, stay happy.
Hello from New Zealand, I'm so happy you guys are back on the water. I have been watching your adventures for four years now and enjoyed every moment thank you for sharing, look forward to new adventures on the new boat.
Phang Nga Bay is one of the most beautiful places ever. I am a regular visitor to Thailand and often privately hire a boat for day trips in the bay, mostly away from the regular tourist haunts. Stunningly majestic place. Nikki, love the new hair cut too 😊😊😊😊
That looks like so much fun! We never chartered either. Just couldn't stomach the cost. A boat provides such a different experience from entering a location from the water and not a car to dinghy adventures and even life at a marina or on the hook. We are just trying to figure all this out but a getaway like that sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing :)
I found your videos during grad school, and when I was struggling through a very difficult romantic relationship where I was so horribly sad and stuck. COVID hit in the middle of all of that, but you guys remained a constant in my life. finally instead of all the Ch*nese censorship and nonsense
The Ocean fixes everything....we choose to cruise on lines since I am 73, but it's really the same, Big Blue does not disappoint ever! Nothing puts you in your place like a vast sea of clear blue water as far as the eye can see! Love this big blue marble! Thank you God!
Nice to see you guys back on the water, much deserved. Enjoy!
I loved the moment when Nikki expressed how much she had missed being on the water and the sunset. That was a great Kodak moment.
I’m an American expat in Malaysia and sailing the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are a thrilling experience. So glad you loved the locale!
Well said! Jason & Nikki have such a lovely persona about them. It makes watching their channel such a joy!
John, I totally agree with you.
Totally agree!! ❤️
Nikki and Jason, I was hoping that you would name your new boat "Curiosity" and heard you did just that❤
7 years... It feels like yeasterday I found you guys when I discovered you two and Jason was putting air in an Rv tire in AK.
This is about the same time they came into my world as well. They are true inspirations to seek the adventure.
That makes three of us. Ive been enjoying (and Patreon’ing) since.
Me too
I think that was the time I discovered them as well.
...which made me think about how long I've been following these guys. I bought their RV "Windy" in 2013 or early 2014 and sold it late 2015 to a guy from Texas, right before I went to Spain. So I think I've been following these guys since 2012. Wow!!

I think choosing the direction of the cleaner water was a no-brainer. The silty water isn't appealing to me. I like being able to see what's in the water. This was a nice adventure. Thanks for sharing.

You always take us to wonderful places and introduce us to wonderful people. As usual you managed to get in a lovely sunset, thanks.
Thank you for taking us along on your charter! Health & happiness to you both. Safe travels ❤️
Wow!! Them boats are so cool. You guys are so adventurous and so lucky to be able to do it.👍🏻😊 enjoy!!
Congrats on 17 years of learning each other and sailing around the world. We love you both, and thank you for all the adventures you have given us.

thanks for leaving the mic on while diving. It's always nice to hear just how loud it is down there.

Oh yes it's nice for you guys to "Be Back" and it's so wonderful for us that you're back ✅✅
A fantastic waterscape there around Phuket ! Thank you for the insights !
Love the "Welcome back to the Ocean" feel of this video. All of your adventures are a joy to watch. but Nikki is right, the Ocean just feels special.
The landscape/seascape is absolutely stunning! The more I see this area the more I want to go there.
Awesome times for a 18th anniversary... congratulations!!!!
Happy Anniversary! So fun to see you back on a boat! Can’t wait to see your new home!

It's great seeing you both back out in your natural habitat ! Wonderful video, and it's fun seeing Nikki's new wardrobe!
Congratulations on17yrs. My wife and I just celebrated 17yrs this past weekend.
You two belong on a boat! I can see the happiness just radiating from you!
Great to see you all out in the water again. That scenery is what drew me to your channel.
Thank you for sharing the fresh veggies bio packaging (banana leaves)!
I love your posts on Sunday morning. Photography is always superb. I could listen to
Nikki all day long so relaxing.
It's easy to see you two are both in your happy place from the beginning of the video. It really shows.
Happy Anniversary Wynn’s! Thank you for taking us all along on your amazing adventure, made my day! ❤️
Been missing the sailing Stuff, long time fan! That new boat is gonna be sweet!

Happy anniversary you guys. So happy to see you back this week.
Enjoy the mixture of boat maintenance and beauty of the area
Thank you Nikki, for realizing the boat life is so very much worth the trade offs from the land life.

One of my favourite regions to explore, hope you have a great time.
So great to be back on the water with you! I always feel like I am there. Though I can't hold my breath that long when I dive with you, I did find myself trying! I get to travel without worrying about flights and passports and VISAs and who's going to take care of my cats. But watching the sunset over the water makes me really want to be there.
Happy Anniversary and it’s great to see you back in the water sailing again. Seeing on a sailboat looks so natural for both of you.
Those long tail boats are so cool but also so polluting! We couldn't get over how much black smoke came out of them.
Thanks so much for sharing this adventure with us. I miss Thailand all the time and it's great to be able to live vicariously through you!
With ME being this excited for the new sailboat, I just can’t imagine how excited YOU guys are. It’s so flippin schweet.
Gorgeous location. So glad to go along!
Thailand is almost as pretty as you, Niki. Love your hair cut! I think we are all excited for you to be back in your happy place and it's much deserved after the last four years. Cheers to many more years of sailing and celebrating ❣
Didn't realize its been 7 years. I started following you when you were cat shopping. What an amazing journey.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY you two love birds 🍾🥂🍻🥃🍹🕊♥️
Nice charter, it’s got a generator, AC, a sound system, and underwater lights, but does it have a dishwasher?😂.
That was a BEAUTIFUL sun set!
Yes! Sealife footage again, i surely missed that!
Just wanted to congratulate you on the production quality of your videos.. Awesome drone photography, superb editing, great sound and non-intrusive, well chosen music. You are both very talented film makers. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us :)
Great to see you all back on the water! Happy Anniversary!
Oh wow! Stunning photography- especially ❤the little birds perched on the wire thing early morning 👏 fantastic outfits and hair , Nikki👍😃
Wynns - Thanks for another fine vid. That long tail propulsion design is ingenious, as engine rooms and busted props go.
Congrats on 17 yrs, thats a great milestone.
Cool, thank you for sharing this adventure.
❤ awesome to see ya'll on the water! Even though it's a chartered boat. Keeping your sea legs active is important ❤
I'm a lifer as well when it comes to sailing the globe. I've already sailed about 1/2 way around the world and am hooked.
Kia Ora boat addicts! Lovely anniversary prezzy for you both and many thanks for taking us along with you. Rog
Your passion is extremely clear, you are fun and realistic, I love watching your adventures.
You guys rock, fhanks for sharing. Living rhe dream and inviting us along. Tks again.
I've enjoyed your land adventures and on the water.
Phang Nga Bay is one of the most beautiful places ever. I am a regular visitor to Thailand and often privately hire a boat for day trips in the bay, mostly away from the regular tourist haunts. Stunningly majestic place. Nikki, love the new hair cut too 😊😊😊😊
You guys are too fun. “There is a whole thing back there and everything “. I knew what you were saying.
Didn’t realize how much I’d missed the wynns on the water!! 🎉🎉
