Another option for loading the ebikes under the tonneau is to use car creepers. We have one for each bike (ours are XP 1st gen. so they're the 65# ones). We fold one down on a Creeper, we both lift an end, and roll it into the truck bed, then do the other. Makes it so much easier to load and unload. We put one up against the cab and the other behind it. That way we don't have to move other things to get to the bikes. Of course, all your packing plans will change with the new RV. Our Lectrics are going on 4 years old. Great bikes!
Our pet carrier fits nicely on either side of dinette in our Class A . I would insert picture, but new to posting here. Really lovely family. Watching RV Unplugged too❤

Looks like a truck topper might be a good investment for you guys.
Intsy Connect has directional antennas. You can purchase both. That is what I'll be doing and using a directional on a pole when needed.
We have 2 Lectric bikes. Used to carry them on a carrier , then we ending up buying a cap (SmartCap EVO Sport Truck Cap) for the pickup truck. Best thing ever. Now everything stays dry and out of sight. Bikes go into 2, 40 gallon tote (type with the yellow lid)

It is easier to load the tote on the ground and then put it in the truck. It makes lifting less awkward.

I have a pet carrier for my E bike and my dog absolutely loves it we call it her chariot LOL. The more they get to go with you the more they will like it! ❤🐾🐾

I needed this video! I've been researching a new ebike that will be easy to pull my two dogs in a carrier behind me and easier for me to lift on and off my van. Thank you! I also had no idea that Lectric is headquartered in Phoenix. Yay for a hometown place to shop.

We just bought 2 of those same ebikes. We love them and worked out so nice when we were in Vegas and AZ. My dog saw a deer when we were in TX and took off pulling the leash off my sons hand. If it wasn't for the leash getting caught on a tree stump I don't know what would have happened. I did get one of those trackers you put on their collar but glad I didn't have to use it.
I have the original Lectric ebike and still love it. One suggestion that you will find helpful is to fold the bikes together and then fold down the handlebar towards not in between the two halfs.

If you go all the way down to the bottom of the campground there is a very nice lady that works at the local food bank and she always bring fresh vegetables home to give to the campers. She leaves them in a wagon with a sign you can’t miss it.

Instyconnect has a standard omni 360 degree antenna BUT that have an optional antenna that is directional only. It looks like a sideways triangle. They named the triangle antenna the binoculars. Their standard antenna is named the angle wings.
We are with our two all the time, too. I depend on them as much as they depend on me, too. We have the original models of the Lectric. I think we’d enjoy the new lighter version. Thanks for bringing us along! Love from SC, Jane❤🙏🏻

Thanks for the update on the InstyConnect -- we bought one after one of your initial reviews of the product and have been pretty happy with. Our experience is similar to yours as far as connection to faraway towers, but we don't have StarLink as a back up. Have you thought at all about using the Insty's "binoculars"? I would love to hear your thoughts about that if you have any experience there. 😀

We would have really loved to try the binoculars out at that last campground. I think with a good extendable pole they would work really well for connecting to the far away towers. I don’t think we’d need them for a lot of the places we go, but they would probably work awesome for about 10%-20% of the time.
Hey guys I have a Lectric 2.0 and I absolutely love it. I think you're going to be very happy with the new bikes. Buy the shock seat pole and the upgraded seat it makes a difference.
May need to check out that antennae system. We were STRUGGING at a state park a couple weeks ago!

Hey. Always enjoy your videos. No idea about anywhere else but here in Saskatchewan Canada any small town butcher shop will have farm raised meat. It's easy to tell the diference in meat, farm raised doesn't end up floating in it's own fat when cooking. I'm speaking from good experience, we raise our own cattle. Safe travels.
I see you 4 in a bigger RV inside of a year. I think the doggos will appreciate a bit bigger rig in addition to having more storage.

You are correct that InstyConnect's standard "angel wing" antennas are omnidirectional, but they also have directional antennas that they call their "binocular" antenna. I've found that their directional antennas work very well at locking in on towers from remote (sometimes very remote) locations.
We have the same camper… and my husband always notices when similar ones come up for sale. Hmmm
Be careful folding the bikes with the key in place, if the pedal isn’t in the correct position it will break off and they’re a pain to replace.

Hey I bought a rad runner with all the hoops and whistles after watching your video review on them and I also need a change due to health issues and my inability to ride it… only rode it once… I listed it on marketplace yet no bites so just curious how yous sold yours?
As I watched you struggling storing and pulling the bikes out of the truck bed I wonder why you don’t put them on the bike rack? Then they’re already together, and since there lite easy to lift on and off the bike rack.
Hello guys is that a Anderson weight distribution hitch on you trailer and are you happy with it?
We had an awful experience with Lectric bikes. We ordered one last fall and the battery came, but not the bike. It was lost in transit. Their corporate policy is that they will not send a replacement to the same address, even though the battery got here fine. Even worse if you send it to another address and there is a problem, you lose your money and get no bike. They have a "relationship" with Fed Ex, but their bikes are not insured for transit. This was not just a bad experience, but their corporate policy is poor considering most people don't actually buy their bikes on site. Very bad company to do business with. We sent the battery back and got a refund, but we actually wanted an e- bike. It was supposed to be a 25th anniversary present to ourselves.

Oh wow thats funny! Ours have never done that while sleeping. Louie was very quiet for the first year... but now will Baroo at June when they play. Probably a couple times a week. It's sounds like a rooster! When we first got June for about a week she would "bark" at people and dogs, but since then she has gotten quiet. We can get her to make a little baroo at us if we come home and get her really excited by taking to her. Pretty cute.
I think you can get bigger seats too for comfort

I think the negative comments regarding e-bikes are unfounded. Yes, they are fit, but if the commute into a town is 12-20 miles that is a 24-40 mile round trip. Get a headwind on the way home and that turns a fun ride into a difficult/aggravating ride. Even if you are fit and can do the mileage, why ruin a good experience. I am 64, but in my good old young days, I was a swimmer and runner. Biking was not a passion. I did and still do have a regular bike. E-bikes were not around then, but I would have bought one for long, leisurely rides that I would not consider otherwise. Not for a workout, but for FUN.

May i suggest Butcher Box for your meat when you leave Arizona? I have experience with the one order (we don’t have room in our motor home so no more for us) we had, excellent meats and you can get grass fed if you prefer.
Aaron, you might want to ping Nick and have him send you a binocular antenna for your Insty Connect. I have not used it yet but it's the directional antenna option for long range towers. It would be interesting to see how that compares.

I’ve never had an e-bike, but want one from Lectric. I’ve never test ridden one and missed my chance because we recently left Arizona and are headed to Port Aransas next week. Y’all came ready to buy though, and I didn’t get much info about the bikes, but I’m excited to see how easy they fold up!
They ship them fully assembled. We have the originals and love them, but I would enjoy having the lighter versions they are making now (but they don’t go quite as fast as the originals...which probably wouldn’t be much of a concern for us.😂)
We order meat from Butcher Box. Sounds very similar in quality to the meat orders you got.

Not so sure the less weight makes up for the effort needed to fold, lift and manipulate the space every time you want to use the bikes? I always thought that's what a bike rack is for, designated space for your bike with easy access. Curious what your thoughts will be after a few months of use and other sacrifices from the RAD bikes to these. :-)

Awesome! To run the AC from batteries you do need to have an inverter installed that can handle the load as well as enough battery power. We do have a few videos on our electrical system install that shows it. 👍😊

You have answered a question I was looking for just the other day. Will two Lectric bikes fit folded under a F250 bed cover? Looks like it is doable. Glad to see. We have a rig very similar to yours and are considering getting E bikes. BTW - the snow in Minnesota on Sunday is now gone, it's safe to come back...maybe :-)

Starlink is not reliable enough to run 24/7 across the country…. Maybe one day though. Our unlimited Verizon is less than half the price of Starlink at $65/month. 👍
So the starlink you can hookup per month only when needed?
Yes, the RV plan is by the month for $150 and you can pause and activate it by the month.

WOW 27 degrees. Last Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. I was watching my Granddaughters tennis match in Roseville and it was 82 degrees. Over the weekend I got 4 inches of snow. RV Unplugged did you and all the contestants a HUGE disservice with that free immunity. The look on Aarons face said it all as he looked at the note. I know it is their first year but come on how would you not see this cluster happening. Also black tank island was a joke. I think it is Ryan who is all alone. Now I think he is very smart and funny but if an overweight, out of shape guy can beat the challenge how is it a challenge? I think the couple had like 30% of the time to spare. Enjoying the show but I sure hope they are learning from their mistakes.

All we can say about RV Unplugged is it was their first season... a pilot really... or even just a proof of concept. It was far from perfect and we also hope they learn a lot and implement changes into the next seasons!
150 bones/month is pricey, especially since they apparently don't prorate it for usage. That's a bummer. I'm sure, given your YT presence and its tie to your business, it's worth it, but still... prorate it! Geez. Tell them you're dumping them and see what specials they suddenly have going.😆
How long does it take to charge the new rides? Range? My Juiced RCS takes a while from low... maybe four hours? I keep it fairly topped off, keeping in mind the fact that you don't want a fully charged battery sitting. Looking forward to both the video of the meet at Lectric and seeing how you like the smaller rides. I LOVE!!! my Juiced Rip Current S!

As you are now aware, Dogs on leash, all the time. The thought of that making them captive somehow is a human feeling. The Dogs don;t care. Just a thought. 😀
