I saw a comment on Reddit saying Trevor Morris' music was bland and not as good as Zur's. I don't know what kind of drug he was on because... Well, one simply has to listen to these musics to know that Morris has his very own style and that it's just amazing.
I like them both and I have to say, even though I have my issues with da:I - the music isn't one of it. Zur is a great componist, but so is Trevor. I don't think either could have done the beautiful work the other did and that's fine. I never get why people won't just enjoy a piece of art when they see or hear it.
DAO is about people’s shit - politics, wars, racism, lust, greediness and etc. so the music is more compellable with that. DAI is more about something from otherworld - elf’s history and culture, their loss of self-definition, magic itself and how to tame it, ruins, ancient magisters and so on. Thats why music here is “bland”. Its like an echo, that sometimes becoming more powerful. Love either of them tho.
I was wandering through music on youtube to find something to listen to during work, until this one. God. I want to dive back into the game right now. Wish I had more time to play again like when I was younger.
I'm actually listening to this on a daily basis to write my thesis haha, only one week before submitting it, thx for this playlist, it really help during my journey !
Listening to this second time, I wish I played Dragon Age some years before, I forced myself to play through DA1 and I hooked up eventually, now I can't wait for Dragon Age 4!!!!

Agreed. My favourite in the series and one of my most favourite games of all time. Replaying it right now for the 4th time, already have almost a 100 hours and I'll likely replay it again right after I finish it, like I did the first time. Such an amazing game that I have a very deep emotional connection to. Feels like home.

Dragon Age is my all-time favourite gaming series so far, and the music is definitely a part of that.
