I know right! I can never insult them and I always defend them, especially against Solas and Viv. I couldn't even judge Ser Ruth (chose the I won't judge a warden option). And the bit where Clarel fights the archdemon with her last breaths while reciting the wardens' motto is just so overwhelming and reminiscent with Origins.
@Lubna Dikeidek I chose to send her to the deep roads with some dwarfs. She didn't like it but I hope she finds some purpose in that. Edit: Plus I thought it would wide her view to fight along these guys who commend the rest of their lifes to fight in the deep roads. Dunno know if it would work.
"I am the one" is the song at the end in the credits after you beat origins.. It is sung in Elven, the bard in inquisition sings it in English.. Love that song..

+Kyle Welsh (Kyle) hAH! I just got a mental image of that one guy playing the guitar on top of the big truck in Mad Max ! hahaha, perfect mental image.
I can't be the one who was getting ready to save the world, stopped by the tavern to talk to someone or other and went "hold up! world can wait, gotta listen to this song!"
Guess I'm the only one who is in love with Oh, Grey Warden. I remember going into a tavern, stopping and listening, and almost started crying. I have a soft spot for Wardens though, thanks to origins.
Arya Bounds '...and should you perish, no that your sacrifice will not be forgotten and that one day we shall join you.'. The Maker looks most sadly upon his Grey Wardens for their sacrifice is the greatest. For Ferelden, For the Grey Wardens!
I felt like it was a restructure of DA Origins main theme. (Edit) I actually played both songs at the same time and its freaky how one seems like a translation of the other.
Maker, has it really been 6 years already? These tunes are so nostalgic, it's unreal. It doesn't feel that long ago at all. It's like I played this game only 2 years ago.
It would have been a really cool addition if all of the Inquisitor's compatriots got their own bard song like Sera did. I was hoping to hear one about Varric or Iron Bull.
SIM1291 The bard obviously didn't fancy them whilst she did Sera and Leilana - it's a shame Sera doesn't appreciate her own song and you can't persuade her otherwise if you're not romancing her.
I thought songs in Skyrim, like Age of Oppression or Age of Aggression were pretty good. Then I heard "Rise" when I walked in a tavern, it sounds like a professional recording for platinum record.
@@legal040 Lol completely forgot even playing this game. Thinking about it now, the music in Skyrim definitely sounds more real and natural. Dragon Age was like they were playing music through speakers😂
Somebody probably wrote this before. But I was literally crying during Grey Wardens quest . :(( Then, bam!, song "Oh,Grey Warden, " plays in tavern...Thank you Bioware for ripping my heart from chest....
That was the first song that I heard when I walked into the tavern, I was like “Hold Up, gotta listen to the rest of the songs” But Nightingales Eyes is overall my favorite song from all of them.
These songs are incredible; they really help make the universe feel more alive. It's not all bloodmages and dragons and darkspawn - there are quiet moments in calm taverns, full of regular folk who just want to breathe, eat, have a drink and go home to their loved ones.
These are the most beautiful songs in a game. They bring the game to life and go with the story. The tavern is my favorite place in the game to let the heroes rest. Ok, it's really for myself.. but still. C'mon, you can't get better than the guitar and voice together. The guitar is perfect also, so important that the guitar is classical style, which has always been my favorite. I study guitar and play classical for many years. So, I get it on a different level. Great job to all involved.
This game was for me one of the best RPGs I've played. The storyline, the combat, who to romance, everything was so exceptional and kept you wanting more the more you played, the graphics and glitches were somewhat a bit annoying but overall a magnificent game, I hope they will release the next game very soon following Tevinter story I'm guessing, I'll played the heck out that like no tomorrow.
I'm not an lover of EA, but i still like the DA-Games. I liked all of them even if the second one had a lil too less different places to discover, the story was still fine for me. I like this morality thing with the templars and mages a lot, just like in AC the templars vs assassins, who is right? shall we let the humans hurt each other by letting them run around free, or should we cage them to stop them from hurting each other, i always go with mages/assassins, but im open for/interested in other opinions :3
It's actually made to be a counterpart to Solas' motivations. He is willing to ditch everything to restore the past - she prefers to seize the day instead of dwelling on something that won't come back anyway. Love her
I would agree she is the border between chaotic good and chaotic neutral. She only cares about commoners and as much as that is good it is also neutral since she does not try to see the wider picture.
I remember finding myself frozen in my tracks when I heard Enchanter in a tavern. I reluctantly stopped moving and just listened to it till the end. That was awesome. :) Anyone else gets a feeling that Origins introduced the world and Inquisition turned it in such an intimate experience that you weren't even playing as much as living a full life in it? ^.^
Origins established the world and the lore. DA 2 capitalized on it's political downfalls. Inquisition doubled down on both the magic and the politics of the series creating a truly captivating series. People give me weird looks when I tell them DA was a better adaptation of GRRM's Asoiaf books than Game of Thrones ever was.
Nick Stoubis No problem Nick just giving credit where it is due. I think myself and many others are of the same opinion that these tavern tracks should have been included in the soundtrack. It's a disgrace that they weren't if I'm honest since it is in my opinion the best music in the game! I would gladly pay money for these tracks but instead my only option is to use a TH-cam to Mp3 converter to have them. :( Anyway thank you both for your contribution to this incredible game.
Nick Stoubis These songs are a major part of what I hoped for on the soundtrack as well. Still a great album, but I'm so glad TH-cam threw this video at me. If these songs end up on Amazon/Itunes, I'd be happy to toss more money at you all.
"Enchanters" is my absolute favorite. In my first blind playthrough it was playing in the first tavern and I sat there and was singing along. Such a beautiful game bugs and all
These songs put me in a mood, almost bring tears in my eyes. Really gets that nostalgia kicking and brings back memories of playing through this wonderful story.
Maker's breath it's beautiful!! I can't be the only one who stayed in the taverns for ages just to listen to the songs. I can't be the only one blown away by this beautiful music!
the most ambitious thing about this series is that they called it "dragon age" knowing full well from their lore that an age only lasts 100 years. It's why every decision you make in a dragon age game coincides so closely with the consequences you see in subsequent games, which is what binds me even closer to these games. Which is why theres no point starting at dragon age inquisition or dragon age 2 without playing earlier games. You're literally writing yourself out of the lore of the game.
@@ApricityGlow It would be cool if they changed the name of the series to stay true to in game lore, but honestly it would also be ok if they kept it the same. At that point, you're basically throwing away the brand name you've built up just for in game lore purposes. Realistically, it wouldn't make much sense
Yes "Empress" and "Sera" stand out, but "Samson's Tale" and "Oh Grey Warden" are equally beautiful. Good music is good music. If they got an Irish woman singer to do this, she might not emphasize the pretty notes like this woman does, but she'd bring something else that would work well. Thanks for posting this - now I don't have to deal with the glitchy PS3 bard singing or not singing, or not having the guitar, or the guitar plays but the words are not sung. LOL.
To this day, Once We Were and Sera Was Never are still my favorite songs. Enchanter is a chose third. But really, they're all good. Props to the singers and song writers for this amazing work.
Even with Hawke they made him say things I don't feel my Hawke would, and I liked they way they did him for the most part. The Warden would would be even tougher to do right and would piss off a lot of people if they misstep. I don't think they will ever brave that mine field.
Ok,I haven't played origins (I heard that's where you play as the hero of Ferelden),But I read somethings and dialogues in Inquisition that say the hero of Ferelden is dead,So how would she come back like Hawke(I've only played dragon age Inquisition, because it's the only one I found where I live)
@@ClownDollThatHasContemptForYou they can die, depending on what options you chose in origins. As a warden they could sacrifice themselves to end the blight I believe? But I'm not sure, I'd never choose that option

Demon Please spare my life And our sons Sera was never quite an agreeable girl; Her tongue tells tales of rebellion. But she was so fast, And quick with her bow, No one quite knew where she came from.
Sera was never quite the quietest girl; Her attacks are loud and they’re joyful. But she knew the ways of nobler men, And she knew how to enrage them.
She would always like to say, “Why change the past, when you can own this day?” Today she will fight, To keep her way. She’s a rogue and a thief, And she’ll tempt your fate.
Sera was never quite the wealthiest girl; Some say she lives in a tavern. But she was so sharp, and quick with bow; Arrows strike like a dragon.

Right after I finished DAI main story I went ahead ordering and buying the first 3 novels of DA. Now that I have finish the 3rd novel, I feel so hopeless with what happened in the story (so yeah listening back all the tavern songs to heal the sadness inside me). It continues right after DA2 and the main reason how and why the White Spire (circle of magi) in Val Royeaux broke apart. Also, it has the connection with Wynne as she reappeared after 10 years from the 5th Blight and Cole's origin. I seriously cried at the end of the novel TT^TT. I'm soooo eager to buy and read the 4th and 5th novel. What I know the 4th one is about Empress Celene and the 5th is about a female elven mage-grey warden and griffon (the setting is after 4th Blight if Im not mistaken) I hope that the 4th DA game will bring back our grey warden and could meet the old buddies all again. Plus, (I sacrificed Hawk) that Hawk didnt die in the Fade!
I have played this game 25 times (And no that is not exaggerated over ten years I played it at least 25 times lol) I never could get all of the songs and I was constantly in the base bar and even skyholds bar. Thanks for putting them up
My first song I heard in this game was Enchanters and I legit just fell in love with it. And then I heard the rest and I just adore this game and the others.
Unfortunately the peroid to free dl this from their page ended. I missed it too, but hopefully those songs will be aviable soon. I'd even pay money for them, but you are right, they should have been on the OST to begin with.
It probably has something to do with the artist. Maybe she didn't want her songs on the PAY or because she is an independent artist bioware didnt put it on the OST. The actual music from DAI is probably produced by their music guy, whoever he is while the songs are produced by that chick... But I don't know how any of it works
I remember in when Varric arranges the party and 'I am the one' without vocals is playing - Truly heartwarming moment in the game. Also Sera was never is just an amazing song, it could be on the radio
God how I wish I could look at the stars while listening Once We Were, and at the same time, I'm holding Josephine in my arms.. she's definitely an exquisite and elegant maiden.
I was introduced to Dragon Age through listening to these songs. I was wondering what amazing game they were from and found an amazing game. I haven't played the other Dragon Age games though but I'm looking forward to the next one!
At first in "Once We Were" I thought she said "Once we ran through the feels with great stride" and I was like "Literally me playing any Dragon Age game"
The first song that I heard was "Empress of Fire" and I couldn't stop singing it all day! This woman's voice is absolutely enchanting I'm in love with it
Not really. More people died in other incidents of the plague. The outbreak in Medieval Europe was only the most famous because it helped spark the cultural, political, and economic changes needed to move into a more modern era. Plague is still very much present, even here in the US.
I absolutely love these songs!!! But technically, the bard who sings these stole Cole's heart whilst I never had the chance to so i'm double jealous right there xD
Probably fun, if the bard was able to remember him long enough to both make and perform the song before he's gone. ^^ But, hey! Leliana could... she seems to remember him from time to time.
I know "I Am The One" is about Solas, but I can't help but to remember my childhood playing Origins, busting my way through to win the game while immersing myself to the story, lore and to the characters that I come to love and hate. I hope that my Heroes of Ferelden (Declan Cousland and Ava Tabris) are doing well right now even if I'm not with them in their respective journeys. They were beyond mere player characters to me.
I go on a nerd streak once in a while and play through all three games, but I always come back to this. Hope the fourth one is at least as good as Inquisition. Thank you for this!
I like to take a break in tavern for listening to her songs just like a traveler being tired from the long road of the war and finding somewhere peaceful, something to fill up the hopeless soul. I'm really into the Dragon Age. still playing XD
I like how a lot of these are callbacks to DAO's soundtrack which is still incredible and the best of the series and one of the best game soundtracks in general
Rise (about the Inquisition), Once We Were (about the Elves), Enchanter (about the Mages), Empress of Fire (about the Empress of Orlais), I Am the One (about survivors of battles), Nightingale's Eyes (about Leliana or Sister Nightingale), Maker (about the one god of Thedas The Maker), Sera Was Ever (about the elf Sera and the Friends of Red Jenny), Samson's Tale (about Samson the commander of the Red Templars), Oh Grey Warden (about the Grey Wardens of Adamant)
Thank you for the video! *slight spoiler for Dragon Age Veilguard soundtrack below* One of the things I miss most in the new DA game are the bard songs. 🥺
Picked this game up a few days ago cause I was curious to see if the romance options were in depth as mass effect. Ended up falling for Sera almost immediately lol. Was chatting her up when I heard her song play for the first time in the tavern and I had to do a double take and ended up swooning even more 😂 I know people love to hate on her but with all this world ending inquisition shit she's the only genuine breath of fresh air I get in the game. Everyone's so damn serious all the time. People say stop to smell the roses sometimes well Sera and I stop to pie in the face anyone unlucky enough to come across us 😂
Constantly, when I am tired of killing mages and templar, I go to tavern listen those amazing songs. Gives me chills and peace. In any game I stopped and listened songs that long!
lol but another great songs of fantasy games that honestly I think started it all all great of elder Skyrim the grandfather we all know and love the gaming universe
I walked all the DA since the beginning. Those tavern songs are so beautiful, I was stunned when I heard first son in Heaven. How often do you find yourseelf crying to the background music of the game, huh? Another proof Inquisition is a masterpiece.
First time I went into a tavern in the game I just stopped and got chills by how good the songs were. Did not expect it. Love this style of music. I did not leave the tavern for ages xD
Same here. I just chilled in Haven's tavern for a long while. Quite the productive inquisitor I was xD
the vocalist actually have a youtube channel

"Oh, Grey Warden" makes me so fucking sad. It especially hurts if you recently played Origins.

And the bit where Clarel fights the archdemon with her last breaths while reciting the wardens' motto is just so overwhelming and reminiscent with Origins.
And Inquisition is nothing but a big middle finger to those guys.
True story.
Played all of them. Loved all them, cried with all of them.
"I am the one" is the song at the end in the credits after you beat origins.. It is sung in Elven, the bard in inquisition sings it in English.. Love that song..
how fitting
Elven makes sense. I totally thought about solas.
That's why the song reminded me of origins
+Vojtěch Martinec it the wedding song , when your character marry one of the character like alistar.

Sad to say Krem never paid attention to the songs. He was too busy standing on the chair

what a first song to run into! magical!

lol That's the first song I heard in game aswell.
The first song I heard was Enchanters and I just stood there for the whole song, completely forgetting what I was about to do.

I wish i could have had a bard with me while i was slaying dragons across Thedas. Bioware did an amazing job with the soundtrack
dartzu and the bard would sing of your travels? sounds good to meh
dartzu Sven needs to step up his fucking game. Well, all of Skyrim's bards.
+Kyra Welsh (Kyle) Thank you for that mental image. Made my morning.
+Super Sanik The brave sir robin, sir robin...
+Kyle Welsh (Kyle) hAH! I just got a mental image of that one guy playing the guitar on top of the big truck in Mad Max ! hahaha, perfect mental image.
I can't be the one who was getting ready to save the world, stopped by the tavern to talk to someone or other and went "hold up! world can wait, gotta listen to this song!"
nop you re not, i stopped to listen "once we were", it gives you that warmth of home
Guess I'm the only one who is in love with Oh, Grey Warden. I remember going into a tavern, stopping and listening, and almost started crying. I have a soft spot for Wardens though, thanks to origins.
Arya Bounds You'd need to be a psychopath with no emotion to not love grey wardens after you play through Dragon Age: Origins
Arya Bounds same here...
Origins for lyfe
Wardens 4 life
Arya Bounds '...and should you perish, no that your sacrifice will not be forgotten and that one day we shall join you.'.
The Maker looks most sadly upon his Grey Wardens for their sacrifice is the greatest.
For Ferelden, For the Grey Wardens!
The chord structure of "Rise" is identical to the first half of Leliana's Song from Origins. I love how many ways they linked the games together.
I felt like it was a restructure of DA Origins main theme. (Edit) I actually played both songs at the same time and its freaky how one seems like a translation of the other.
yah that entire song is just the DA:O and kinda DA:2 main theam
i am the one, is lilianas song/the romance song
o sry lilanas song and romance is a different thing. i am the one is just a song from DA:O by the same name
When it plays in my head I hear the main theme of Origins take over.
Maker, has it really been 6 years already? These tunes are so nostalgic, it's unreal. It doesn't feel that long ago at all. It's like I played this game only 2 years ago.
I started playing Inquisition recently. So many old fans and I have just started XD. So I guess I'm a new fan.
It's been ten years now.
Feel old isnt?
Probably the best bard/tavern songs I experienced in a game. Damn, I just stay and stand around the tavern to listen to these songs all the time.
I would like to hear one about Cole.
+Taylor Wilson who is Cole? Anyway, seen tons of spiders around the camp lately. Pretty gross - at least we can use their webs in the healer tents.
i think the reason she got one is because she literally lived in the tavern lol.
@Orowam what do you mean “who is Cole?”
I thought songs in Skyrim, like Age of Oppression or Age of Aggression were pretty good. Then I heard "Rise" when I walked in a tavern, it sounds like a professional recording for platinum record.
The words were good, but the way they sang it was terrible compared to these tavern songs.
i kind of prefer the way skyrim's songs are tbh
these are good but they feel out of place in game; kind of microphoney i guess?
@@legal040 Lol completely forgot even playing this game. Thinking about it now, the music in Skyrim definitely sounds more real and natural. Dragon Age was like they were playing music through speakers😂
Oh there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red...
xDD
Yeet Man who came riding to Whiterun from old Rorikstead
And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more
When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor!
Oh. The music that has to be covered to actually sound good.
Witcher 3 is only slightly better with the precisely ONE tavern song throughout the game.
Serza CZ I’m not allowed to play Witcher or Dragon Age. I can’t wait until the day I can bc theses games look AMAZING!
'I am the One' reminds me of my first venture into Thedas as Edward Cousland.
Origins will forever be my favourite game of all time.
Ikr. I loved that game
Another
I like How "Maker" is like a rewording of "The Dawn will Come".
I like how many of the songs are about characters in the game, it makes it all feel more special
"Sera Was Never" is legitimately one of my favorite songs to listen to :)
My character hasn't left the tavern 'til this day.
xD
Are you still in the tavern? Curious
@@SpiritWolf1e Two years strong.
Corypheus: am I a joke to you?
Always feel like going back to play this song. Dragon Age is one of those rare games, where the characters seem so real you kind of miss them.
Somebody probably wrote this before. But I was literally crying during Grey Wardens quest . :(( Then, bam!, song "Oh,Grey Warden, " plays in tavern...Thank you Bioware for ripping my heart from chest....

Is no one else in love with Nightingale's Eyes?
Nope. No-one. You're all alone.
I love that song I really love all of them
That was the first song that I heard when I walked into the tavern, I was like “Hold Up, gotta listen to the rest of the songs”
But Nightingales Eyes is overall my favorite song from all of them.
It's personally one of my favourites
@@taylorbradley5742 ¹¹1¹¹1¹
My bard in D&D always uses these songs. Especially "Oh Grey Warden"
nice
I really appreciate that they actually hired vocalists to perform the tavern songs. I loved Skyrim, but the tavern songs sucked so bad.
OUR HERO OUR HERO CLAIMS A WARRIOR'S HEART
ForceG27 it wasn't like that
it was like
our hero..........our hero claims..........a warrior's..........heart.
I liked Age of Aggression...:P
the vocalist have a youtube channel
I liked the way the dark elf in Windhelm sang.
Johnny Cash my character lost his love
I'm not an lover of EA, but i still like the DA-Games. I liked all of them even if the second one had a lil too less different places to discover, the story was still fine for me. I like this morality thing with the templars and mages a lot, just like in AC the templars vs assassins, who is right? shall we let the humans hurt each other by letting them run around free, or should we cage them to stop them from hurting each other, i always go with mages/assassins, but im open for/interested in other opinions :3
Inquisition was good but I think origins was better
It’s DAI and final fantasy 6 fighting over my favorite game ever.
my favorite game of all time :)
the Sera was Never song makes sense, i mean, why change the past when you can own that day?
I'm in my late 30's and love the song, as well as Sera. No need to bring age into it.
Lanslet Ajiker sera is chaotic neutral (maybe chaotic good). But chaotic neutrality explains it
sera is made to not make sense so its only natural her song doesnt either
It's actually made to be a counterpart to Solas' motivations. He is willing to ditch everything to restore the past - she prefers to seize the day instead of dwelling on something that won't come back anyway. Love her
I would agree she is the border between chaotic good and chaotic neutral. She only cares about commoners and as much as that is good it is also neutral since she does not try to see the wider picture.
I remember finding myself frozen in my tracks when I heard Enchanter in a tavern. I reluctantly stopped moving and just listened to it till the end. That was awesome. :)
Anyone else gets a feeling that Origins introduced the world and Inquisition turned it in such an intimate experience that you weren't even playing as much as living a full life in it?
Why didn't this music make the official soundtrack? It's awesome! I think the vocalist and guitar player deserve way more credit.
Thanks for the nice words on my guitar playing.
Thank you very much! I had fun recording these tracks and I am glad that some people enjoyed hearing them on the game.
Nick Stoubis Dude, you and the singer gave me and my mates new cool tunes to listen to while doing our drinking routine! Kudos for that!
Say what you want about the game play, but the guys at dragon age know how to immerse you.
I was just thinking that as I was scrolling through the comments.
i miss the origins gameplay and music honestly. inquisition isn't bad, it just doesn't feel like dragon age
I was so immersed it was unreal. My girlfriend showed me a card trick during my templar playthrough... So I stabbed her.
''Samson's Tale'' still gives me chills whenever it starts going into the tavern.
It's so sad
the music in this game is so beautiful, it gives me the chills.
+Chris Smisse Leliana's Song is both emotional and beautiful
"Enchanters" is my absolute favorite. In my first blind playthrough it was playing in the first tavern and I sat there and was singing along. Such a beautiful game bugs and all
I love Enchanter, Nightingale's eyes and Empress of Fire the most - but all the songs are great, I need more space on my phone to have all of them.
Once we were hurts my heart for some reason. :( its a beautiful song though, all of them are. damn.
Completely same here, it evokes sadness in me, but somehow nice and calming as well.
the most ambitious thing about this series is that they called it "dragon age" knowing full well from their lore that an age only lasts 100 years.
That makes me think if the series ends with the end of the dragon age, or of it'll continue with another title ending in age.
@@ApricityGlow It would be cool if they changed the name of the series to stay true to in game lore, but honestly it would also be ok if they kept it the same. At that point, you're basically throwing away the brand name you've built up just for in game lore purposes. Realistically, it wouldn't make much sense
I love how the characters from previous games are related to characters from recent games
LOL.
I always loved Samson's story. And the tavern song telling the tale gives me chills honestly.
there is no words to explaing my love to this game and its music..I only wish they'd make it more like RPG :)
it is an RPG
Not anymore
***** yes it is?
Yes it is.But not completely an RPG they changed lots of things on it so it's not correctly an RPG now
***** Actually it IS a RPG, as the other games of the sequel.
I do love that sera song, so catchy :D
This music is just amazing. Everytime I hear it it brings back such nice memories and makes me all well up.
To this day, Once We Were and Sera Was Never are still my favorite songs. Enchanter is a chose third. But really, they're all good. Props to the singers and song writers for this amazing work.
5 years ago this uploaded. Still listening to this in 2020. Still playing dragon age.
I started Inquisition a week or so ago and I'm hooked. Story, characters, romance... it's an incredible experience :)
@@masquerademage Have you played DA origins?
Her voice is pure magic!
Man i really hope the Hero of Ferelden makes a comeback in the next Dragon Age
Even with Hawke they made him say things I don't feel my Hawke would, and I liked they way they did him for the most part. The Warden would would be even tougher to do right and would piss off a lot of people if they misstep. I don't think they will ever brave that mine field.
We all do too :(((
Ok,I haven't played origins (I heard that's where you play as the hero of Ferelden),But I read somethings and dialogues in Inquisition that say the hero of Ferelden is dead,So how would she come back like Hawke(I've only played dragon age Inquisition, because it's the only one I found where I live)
@@ClownDollThatHasContemptForYou they can die, depending on what options you chose in origins. As a warden they could sacrifice themselves to end the blight I believe? But I'm not sure, I'd never choose that option
@@ClownDollThatHasContemptForYou That's the default state in Dragon age Inquisition. You can change it in Dragon age Keep.

What I know the 4th one is about Empress Celene and the 5th is about a female elven mage-grey warden and griffon (the setting is after 4th Blight if Im not mistaken)
I hope that the 4th DA game will bring back our grey warden and could meet the old buddies all again. Plus, (I sacrificed Hawk) that Hawk didnt die in the Fade!
novels? THERE ARE BOOKS OF DRAGON AGE???!!!!!
They are actually pretty decent, i would even go so far and call them better than the games ^^
Just figured out what she is saying in Sera was Never
“Why change the past when you can own this day”
I have played this game 25 times (And no that is not exaggerated over ten years I played it at least 25 times lol) I never could get all of the songs and I was constantly in the base bar and even skyholds bar. Thanks for putting them up
My first song I heard in this game was Enchanters and I legit just fell in love with it. And then I heard the rest and I just adore this game and the others.
it annoys me to no end that to listen to this amazing music i have to download these vids. BIOWARE!! add them to the soundtrack please!!
All 10 are free on their website right now. I dont know for how much longer though.
Unfortunately the peroid to free dl this from their page ended. I missed it too, but hopefully those songs will be aviable soon. I'd even pay money for them, but you are right, they should have been on the OST to begin with.
I believe they have them all on itunes if you search for them by the name of the song for $1.29 each.
It probably has something to do with the artist. Maybe she didn't want her songs on the PAY or because she is an independent artist bioware didnt put it on the OST. The actual music from DAI is probably produced by their music guy, whoever he is while the songs are produced by that chick... But I don't know how any of it works
There's no way in hell Bioware didn't commission the creation of the songs, to belong to them.
Brilliant work!
Jacob Watanabe I went with Cassandra, if you are a straight guy, your choices are pretty limited.
I went with Cully Wully
Oh, Grey Warden is such a sad song
Dragon Age isn't just a Video game, it's a culture!
That is such a good way to put it, you are absolutely spot on.
I was introduced to Dragon Age through listening to these songs. I was wondering what amazing game they were from and found an amazing game. I haven't played the other Dragon Age games though but I'm looking forward to the next one!
Love all these tavern ballads in English and French! So poignant, so full of ancient lore, so majestic, and bringing us back to the heart of the West!
Beautiful
Empress of fire, is definitely my favorite :)
+elmonarcoful Hell yeah, the french version (you can listen to it in Val Royeux) gave my shivers. Though I'm a french speaker so :P
At first in "Once We Were" I thought she said "Once we ran through the feels with great stride" and I was like "Literally me playing any Dragon Age game"
Same reaction first time I heard the music in a tavern I stopped and got chills and listented and wish I could just listen to her all the time.
The first song that I heard was "Empress of Fire" and I couldn't stop singing it all day! This woman's voice is absolutely enchanting I'm in love with it

The music in this game was certainly unexpectedly beautiful- I'm seriously obsessed with the tavern songs ❤
Listen to it, close the video and look around. Fuck! i live in 2016...
Yeah me too.. I suddenly wished i lived in these medieval times
+Omar G black plague was soo cool :D wish i was there
+Garden Cultist I think the person mean fantasy medieval
Not all of it but most of it was
I wish every companion could have gotten a song. Im really curious of what Coles would have been like.
Probably fun, if the bard was able to remember him long enough to both make and perform the song before he's gone. ^^
But, hey! Leliana could... she seems to remember him from time to time.
+Viper V turns out it's a black metal satanistic song with lots of growling
1 hour of screams *ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
This is the most beautiful TH-cam Video concerning Dragon age Inquisition I ever have watched and listened to :)
Love this game so much .
My favs are Enchanter, Nightingales Eye % Sera was never
SAME
+Totikki Those are my favorites, too. And in that order! haha
Lmao also in that order
Mine are Empress of Fire, Sera Was Never, and Nightingale's Eyes.
Me too! except in opposite order
AAAAAAH I ADORE YOUR TALENT SO MUCH!!! Tysm for all these!
19min and 24 sec later and i was like shit man....its over....fuck.
Sera Was Never and Empress of Fire Best ones imo! ♥ I enjoy all of them though...
I am always playing slowly video games. So i ran tavern and i met this beatiful songs! Half hour i am just sit in tavern.
The beer was good too... :D
Zarala2010 :D
I like how a lot of these are callbacks to DAO's soundtrack which is still incredible and the best of the series and one of the best game soundtracks in general
Humming Empress of Fire all day damnit ;) Love it.
Her voice caught my attention big time. Absolutely beautiful!
Oh, Grey Wardens it's just way too painful
Aye
Rise (about the Inquisition), Once We Were (about the Elves), Enchanter (about the Mages), Empress of Fire (about the Empress of Orlais), I Am the One (about survivors of battles), Nightingale's Eyes (about Leliana or Sister Nightingale), Maker (about the one god of Thedas The Maker), Sera Was Ever (about the elf Sera and the Friends of Red Jenny), Samson's Tale (about Samson the commander of the Red Templars), Oh Grey Warden (about the Grey Wardens of Adamant)
i always thought "enchanter" was about Vivienne strangely
This melody is the same as the main theme of Origins omg 💗💗💗
Thank you for the video!
*slight spoiler for Dragon Age Veilguard soundtrack below*
One of the things I miss most in the new DA game are the bard songs.
BELIEVE, BELIEVE, THE DRAGONBORN --
Oh, wait...
Sorry, wrong tavern songs... Sorry! :P
+SonicxAmyfan4Life Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray!
lol but another great songs of fantasy games that honestly I think started it all all great of elder Skyrim the grandfather we all know and love the gaming universe
But it is old in the gaming world and for it's age still fun to play that is hard.
Luke Maguire *cough cough* smoking weed *cough cough*
Russt dragonking It is not that old at all, but I’m assuming you aren’t either. Hehe
I love this playlist of the tavern songs. They are awesome! Thanks for posting. :)
I walked all the DA since the beginning. Those tavern songs are so beautiful, I was stunned when I heard first son in Heaven. How often do you find yourseelf crying to the background music of the game, huh? Another proof Inquisition is a masterpiece.
When I visited the tavern and "Oh, Grey Warden" began being played, I was transfixed. I didn't take another step until it was over.
