Single,by choice, for 29 years and very satisfied with Jesus being the best I can have. I raised 3 boys, from babies, 100% alone aside from God. I wasn't willing to introduce men into my boys lives but when they left for college and life, I had many interests of my own and mainly full time ministry. I'm 61 now and still very satisfied alone. I like who God made me and my purpose. I am like my own best friend. I wish more precious women would realize God is enough. He will provide and fill in all ways through their relationship with Jesus. This is actually a book I'm working on but focused on single parents.
I'm a man, but I am your age. I too had three children. But I was married at the time. But I am now divorced and wish to embrace my new singleness and focus on serving the Lord Jesus and working for the sake of the Kingdom. And I know celibacy is for my protection. I don't do well emotionally when I was sexually active in the past.
@@Anthony-yy3kc I was just pondering, this morning, about the, "Friends w/Benefits," this generation thinks is so great. It just reminded me of the verse in Mark where it says people will be without natural affection in the last days. Refraining is definitely for our benefit. I've had people actually accuse me of being gay because I choose to do life God's way. He never changed, the culture did. I'm not opposed to God bringing a man into my life if it was God's will for me but being single is so freeing. I'm so free to be and do anything God has for me. I'm impressed with your choice! It's rare and it's precious.
@@cheryldwyer494 yes I saw another comment where the writer said he loved singleness because he has friends with benefits. I commented that it's easy and selfish to have friends with benefits. All of the benefits he is using those people to satisfy his lusts. I agree the culture has changed and people who don't have Jesus are living for themselves. Thanks for your encouragement! This was great! I want so badly to be married and have a family, but I'm realizing that God has a lot of work to do through me. I need to be better for myself first and trust in God on this journey. ❤️ I love looking at this as being single is also a gift and at the end of the day it's all about being obedient to God's word single or not. 💞

I will never understand why would women want to get married this day and age when you see the type of men that are out here. I am happily single and satisfied and I want to stay single and happy and satisfied. Why are so many women seeking drama and being abused that is something I will never understand.

Well I just got divorced, and I know there is a lot of controversy over whether you are permitted to remarry. In my case that's not my concern as I know that I will not be remarrying again. I know that I will be required to remain celibate for the rest of my life. I am now a eunach for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven ! That's all I want now!
