    Tim Slade, you indeed are a GENIUS! You simplify things so much for your learners, and most above you put in a great effort to help them grasp better.

    Great tutorial as always! I've created some linear projects in Storyline but this was my first branching scenario. I was wondering what the difference is between using slide layers to create the different scenarios vs just duplicating slides and making adjustments that way? Sorry if this is a silly question; I'm still learning! 🙂

    Tim, this was awesome! You make it so easy to understand and it's so relaxing watching you do it and explain everything. As a newbie, I feel I can replicate this. If the learner reaches Conclusion A, can we have a "congratulations" layer to end it vs "Start Over?" or, is it easier to just have "Start Over" for each conclusion?

    • @elearningacdmy
      @elearningacdmy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you liked it! As for your question...yes, you can certainly do that! Since each conclusion is it's own layer, you can make each one different if you wanted to!

    This was amazing! Thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with the world. You've inspired me to tweak a few projects I'm working on for the better. Quick question, are there copyright restrictions on the stock images in powerpoint? Thank you for your help! :)

    • @elearningacdmy
      @elearningacdmy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad you liked it, Kelly! As for your question...you're free to use the images in PowerPoint for any projects, personal or commercial.

    Hi Tim, thanks for the tutorial, it was very helpful. What I found missing was the ending of the scenario. How would you approach giving the overall feedback to the learner? I want to create a similar branched scenario, but not giving feedback after each and every decision point, I'd rather have extensive feedback at the end. Thanks

    What an amazing video, quick question. I just got started in Instructional Design (currently learning the tools) when it comes to the dialogue (questions/answers..) Do you come up with the dialogue yourself or does it come from somewhere else?

    • @elearningacdmy
      @elearningacdmy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! If this were a real-world project, it would be the job of the instructional designer to create all of the content, using the knowledge and expertise you get from your subject matter experts. I hope that helps!

  • @antucardenas788
    @antucardenas788 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Tim, excelent video. One question.... as ID we need to design also the questions and possible aswers to create this scenario, or that info in given by the SME?

    • @elearningacdmy
      @elearningacdmy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for watching, Antu! To answer your question...it should always be the job of the ID to write the questions and answers. We have to remember that our SMEs aren't learning experts...they're experts in whatever topic we're creating training on. And so, it's our job to work with our SMEs to extract the necessary content from them, and then design the questions / scenarios based on what they provide us. I hope that makes sense!

    Hi there! I am currently shopping for instructional design software for my start up. I am primarily looking at Articulate 360 and iSpring. I can't seem to find a more recent video comparing these two programs anywhere. Which of these in your experience 1) has more comprehensive features for creating role plays and animations 2) allows for more adaptability and personalization 3) easy to use 4) good value for money? Thanks!

      I’d have to see exactly what part you’re talking about, but I assume it las because it’s revealing a layer with different expressions. If you, feel free to post about this in more detail in our Ask the Community space with the link below… community.elearningacademy.io/c/advice/
