Excellent video friend! I felt there was just one more test left with each of the microphones: using a mechanical keyboard. Assuming that the person is sitting, the microphone is aimed at the mouth and the mechanical keyboard is on the table, when not saying anything, how much of the keyboard sound will be recorded, this is something that has been disturbing my streams, please consider it for your next microphone videos!
I agree with below... I only subbed cause you jumped immediately into the video.... Should create a video masterclass on this exact point! Thank you!!... Unfortanely for now cant afford any of these microphones...
@@boybot2668 no, not really a necessity for me to upgrade right now.. Im gunna try and upgrade my pc and my mouse n keyboard most likely before the mic.. Unless they make like a wave 4 or whatever...
For Budget stuff, I find that Tech Raccoon has some good videos that compare some of the much more budget oriented mics to brands like SHURE. When it comes to audio, there are some companies out there that put out really good quality products for a fraction of the price, but it's hard to track them down without some help, and many of those companies don't have consistent quality for all of their products, so it's best to just stick to the ones that have been reviewed(when you can find them)
Or just get a decent $100 solid handheld like the Se V7 or Shure 57/58, even the OG Podmic, though full disclosure I'm not a huge fan of it either, and a decent small interface that doesn't need a ton of gain/bells and whistles (just loopback for routing your audio around if needed/wanted) and you'll be better off than any of these mentioned imo.. for the same price or less..
Hello. Can you recommend a microphone for live broadcasting and dubbing? A room that prefers to record broadcast recording in a normal home room will not be used. I would even appreciate it if you could give me the session fee, if possible. My total budget for sound card and microphone is 1.000$.
A warning for the Blue Yeti: The stand is very poorly designed. The microphone can rotate in the stand, and if you do so while plugged in, the stand itself is in the perfect position to push the wire and break the internal connection. The amount of force required to do this is as little as a backhand moving your hand from keyboard over to your mouse. VERY poor design.
Awesome video! I'm looking at the Audio Technica AT2020USB-X - I'm currently using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) running Sonoma 14.2.1 this device only has USB-C type ports. Do you know if this microphone would connect and work with my MacBook?
The second to last is way too high, the shure is so over rated I can't explain. It's muted in all frequencies. The second had the best sound for your voice imo, after compression and decompression on TH-cam.
Wtf I just submitted a one star review on the Elgato Wave 3 due to how it makes constant hissing background sounds no matter what you do. I’ve been trying to fix this ongoing issue for over a year and now cannot return it…. Is this video sponsored??
Steelseries apex pro is pretty good, Ive been using it for a while. If you want budget you could go for the apex 3 which I used for years and it looks and performs as well as new
NO THE WAY YOU JUST IMMEDIATELY JUMPED INTO THE VIDEO WITHOUT A 5 MINUTE INTRO JUST EARNED YOU A SUBSCRIBER!

Its funny how literally two hours ago im thinking of buying a mic for my setup , then here you are uploading a top 5 mics perfect timing

number 4 has to be one of the funniest transitions ever, “yea the audio quality on this thing is amazing” - sounds like dogshit
it was the best of them
literallyy sounded the best lmfao
this came just in time!! literally was looking for mics to buy since this week started
i use my Boya BY-M1S and im happy with that .. also super budget friendly ... ❤
If you are going to talk about keyboard background noise don’t be lazy use a keyboard to test it man. Saying it’s good is useless without proof
how is this girl gaming with a giant mic blocking her monitor
Probably aimbots

bro is casually calling $240 budget
crazy how elgato wave 3 is still a pick for "best microphone", Its been out for 1-2 years and im looking for a upgrade from it.
Same
Did you ever upgrade from it
@@boybot2668 no, not really a necessity for me to upgrade right now.. Im gunna try and upgrade my pc and my mouse n keyboard most likely before the mic.. Unless they make like a wave 4 or whatever...
elgato literally picks up noise even with dogs barking outside with my window closed it’s insane
although I’m still using it since the software is godly tho. I’m using q2u as my mic
babe, wake up consumer tech review dropped
spot on! gonna get elgato since mic is really not my top priority just for meetings

yeah i have the Shure mv7 connected with my go XLR mini , sounds really good not to expensive either.
I was looking for a mic, thanks!
??? Those are usb type A connections not usb type B. USB type B is the old school printer style square connector
Sound tests of any type are not unnecessary... even mute...
I keep hearing people praising those cheap microphones, but none of them sound good at all, except for blue yeti X after some heavy post processing.
2:45 usb type c to type b ? is it not a type a ?

Only if the Shure MV7 used USB-C
Can you do review for Tecware Edge Air pc case because I I'm planning to buy that case and I didn't see any review vid about that case
Rode podmic
Electro-Voice RE20
shure sm7b
Rode procaster
I plan on buying one of these, but what is the arm stand that you have called?
Take a listen at the noise floor
Me: *listens*
Him: that’s what it sounds like
Me: *hears nothing*
😭 someone help am I supposed to hear something?
All of them are usb only the mv7 do another video about xlr or xlr usb combo microphones

The sides screw to tighten and lock the mic in place.
@@michaelzamani5376 Even when screwed in to the maximum, it moves very easily.
what about Sennheiser Profile. It sounds soo good!
for gaming what about the Shure Mv7x

I have a lot of noise from outside. Loud cars
Dang. I really thought the Deity would sound better.

No intro? I love you
if you are not a professional streamer/gamer or youtuber get a mic under 100$. over that makes no sense
Thank you for getting straight in oh my gosh this is wonderful I hate rambling
Thanks a lot man🙏
the video i waited for
I kinda thought the AT2020USB-X sounded best imo
should i change my microphone from the yeti gx
Ok now do mic settings for this video 😂
The Elgato was so much better than the Deity to me. 🤔
That is the usual for gaming wise
I've seen people say on the MV7 to get a different pop filter the one used on the SM7B do you think its needed? And if so where can we get that?
mv7 owner here depends on if plosives bother you ! if it does yes if it dosent then no
