Svanir Shaman is the worst IMO, no challenging mechanics (like a decent begining world boss should) but TOO MUCH DAMM HP ! This fights takes forever with no stake, no gameplay, just boring health sponge. Which is a shame because other cool bosses with more demanding fights like Shatterer or Tequatl are so frail and go down in no time.
Shadow behemoth is what sold me on this game. Leveling my 1st character and coming across this giant dude with hundreds of people trying to take him down will always be something I look back fondly at whenever I think of guild wars
It doesn't necessarily mean much today, but it is worth noting that some of these bosses- most notably Claw- have been horribly ravaged by powercreep. Back in the day the mechanics actually mattered. Player characters have advanced while core bosses generally haven't. Some of the higher bosses in your list are still good because they have been reworked. Hopefully someday ANet will do the same to the other core bosses. I've been out of the circle for a while, but I used to hang out with the NA reset Triple Trouble crew daily. If I missed their run at server reset there was another daily run two hours later and another I could catch the next morning, if I was really running behind. I don't know that it's as popular now, but if "You need people to do this boss and no one does this boss" is the only downside it probably deserves reconsideration. I might be biased, though, it's one of my favorite bosses and I could write its praises for entirely too long. I used to love Tequatl. Its mechanics are still more relevant than Claw of Jormag's mechanics are, but I miss the multiple burn phases and defense squads covering the turrets and the real threat of not succeeding.
Every triple trouble time slot on NA succeeds except for the noon EST one. Sometimes even the noon one succeeds. You just need to look in the LFG so you get on the right map. At peak time they have two maps organized. It's much much more common for it to succeed. I rarely see it fail.
I agree with you on megadestroyer - it is very underwhelming when you consider its map and placement "you can just ignore fire tornados and shockwaves" spoken like a true guardian main lol try to ignore all that aoe as an ele I dare you xD TT is meant to be played with the entire map coordinating and stuff, it's the intended way - guild [nope] in NA and several others do daily runs of TT, I really recommend paying attention to those. Basically do not attempt with pugs, it's way likely to go bad for everything Shatterer above I agree with you (expect Karka, the fight itself is basic despite the big attacks)
I mostly agree. But how could you put Triple Trouble so low, just because it is hard to do, is beyond me. Isn't the requirement of organizing at the core of MMOs?
My problem with Golem Mark II is that because it is a giant boss with multiple targets that move, targets aren't valid anymore when you use class skills like dragon hunter's, deadeye's, AND spellbreaker's F1. However, fighting the boss solo is really fun since it actually scales properly.
Great video! If you wanna feel all the happy brain chemicals, play a Healer in a big 40+ player squad, spam heals, res, boons, stability. You'll be the MVP and will feel like a superhero!
I'm pretty sure the first boss' powder keg mechanic is bugged because the last time i did it, there were so many kegs and yet nothing seems to happen. The cannons are supposed to HELP break the gate with the kegs being the main damage, but it seems like they almost always do nothing.
I think Claw, Tequatl, and Shatterer should have a rework to make it all harder to kill with more mechanics and longer fights. After all, they are the strongest minions of 3 Elder Dragons.
Oh I’m late a bit. I wanted to comment on Inquest Golem Mark II. The boss probably has the lowest health pool out of every w boss! Yesterday I saw ANET mods playing, and I even told them, “the boss died in 39 seconds!! Can you make it more difficult?” 😅😂
Teq, jungle wurm, Shatterer would be my top 3. Some i havent done enough to place in a formal spot yet. Frozen Maw and Taidha's gate are bottom 2 though. Id like the "hide and seek" of Taidha, but her gate...
shadow world boss i dont know how many years of the in the game but i want that shadow rifle just cool best boss in this game the griffin if you kill thAT boss just gives free fly mount only you can get 2018 but you need tamer cloak to tame the mount and not gonna buy 250 gold for fly mount best class is engi his mech is insane helper to avoid the attinoal if you got bliked effect you always get damage from bosses

Not hard for me since 2-3 fine guilds do the work for me! Kudos to all the organizing Guilds!
