It's a ghostly Donsky Castle site. The coastal walkway that you can see in the video is fantastic. I was with you until the end of the lighthouse. Thank you.
I hiked along here last year and just as I arrived at the castle, we had the most fantastic thunderstorm. Warm rain and incredible thunder/lightning, with Dunskey castle in the background. Felt like I was in Highlander
That sounds pretty awesome. Would have been cool to capture a lightening bolt over the castle. I was really surprised how quiet this part of the world was as I visited on a Bank Holiday. i wasn't complaining though 🙂
The view is totally stunning and the castle doesn't look spooky which is a good thing. O look at the horse is social and friendly coming towards you to say hello while the other horse watching. It's such beautiful trails to stroll around!

Hi Paul! What a fabulous coastline! Dunskey Castle looks very impressive, but forlorn perched high above the sea. What a sad story about the nursemaid throwing the baby out of the window. I wouldn't want to see that replayed in ghostly form. It was lovely to see the wildflowers in bloom and the little stream. Hi Paul! What a fabulous coastline! Dunskey Castle looks very impressive, but forlorn perched high above the sea. What a sad story about the nursemaid throwing the baby out of the window. I wouldn't want to see that replayed in ghostly form. It was lovely to see the wildflowers in bloom and the little stream. Hi Julie n Lucy, it sure was a good sight to see the castle perched on the cliff. I wondered if the nurse maid had thrown the puppy dog off the cliff as one had fallen from it that day at the castle. This was a super walk down by the coast and Dunskey Castle was great to explore for free. You don't get to see many castles for free. And what's an old castle without a good ghost story or 2.
