Hi Paul, a wonderful day for a walk. The views were amazing, so beautiful. The falls were stunning. I was intrigued to see The Giants Graves. Fascinating. A great spot to be laid to rest. Thanks for taking us along. Best wishes from us both ❤❤
I have only seen images of the mountains so far, so this was an entire new side of Arran to me. A beautiful area and a nice dose of history to go along.
I was hoping to get up into the mountains but the weather wasn't great. It was great on this afternoon walk but that morning heavy cloud and rain. This is on the south side of the island. It was a stunning walk with awesome views for relatively little effort.
My favourite place in the whole world ! As a family in the late 1960s we used to take a house around 1/2 a mile up that path from the main road for 6 weeks every summer . The falls are a truly magical place !
That sure sounds pretty awesome to me. It's a wonderful location especially with the weather I got for this visit. I'm glad the video took you back to great times. The falls were pretty special. Thank you very much for the lovely comment.
I had a holiday on Arran as a schoolboy 60 years ago, based at the Youth Hostel in Whiting Bay. The island doesn't seem to have changed a bit. Thank you for bringing back happy memories of those days.
It's great to hear that the island hasn't changed much in 60 years and would hope that's the same for the next 60. It was my first time on the island and I really enjoyed the visit. I'm glad to hear the video took you back to happy memories from your schoolboy days. Thank you very much for watching and dropping me your lovely comment 🙂
This was a fabulous walk for relatively little effort. A bit of everything. I thought you might enjoy the giants graves. I have some more video from Arran to come that will be right up your street 🙂
Everywhere seems to have been prepared for your shooting.😊😊 04:23 What an impressive waterfall. It's cool.😍😍 07:1311:49 It's an ecstatic landscape. Amazing.👍👍 Thanks to you, I enjoyed the wonderful scenery today.💕💕
I'm glad you enjoyed this explore of the Glenashdale Falls and the Giants Graves on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. It sure was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍
A nicely marked easy to follow trail that leads to incredible waterfalls and views. I like the smaller falls along the way with rhododendrons hanging right over the side, never seen that before! Interesting to see a safari tour up there. Interesting stones and views of the bay on the way down. Enjoyed! 👍🪨🪨🏔🌄
I'm glad you enjoyed the explore. I never seem to notice the fauna as much and certainly wouldn't know what they're called. This was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort. It's amazing to think how long the stones have stood there. Thank you very much for watching 🙂
It is so nice to see how green and lush everything is. Beautiful trail. I enjoyed the waterfall. It was wonderful to have the view to yourself. The giant graves are so interesting! The views were amazing going to and from the graves.
There had been lot of rain fall in preceding days so that helped make everything green and the waterfall flow. It's amazing to think how long the Giants Graves have been there. It was a super walk out with super views for relatively little effort. I'm glad you enjoyed the views I managed to capture 🙂
The Glenashdale Falls are pretty impressive Joking Hermit! 5:04:-) Enjoyed this walk and the stunning views; fantastic stones 10:46! I'm sure you're making your way over to the Holy Island. Wonderful footage! Thank you! 🥾
Hi Tracy, the double cascade waterfall was pretty awesome and worth the trip up. Some smashing views over Whiting Bay and Holy Island. And perhaps I will make my way to Holy Island one day, I am good boy after all 😂 The stones were pretty historic and in a lovely spot for exploring. I'm glad you enjoyed the explore and the captured views. Thank you very much for coming along 🙂👍The Joking Hermit
Indeed a wonderful view at Whiting bay parking area Nice stair step falls before the big one - impressive Wow the views get even better as you get higher up Amazing how they built those giant graves Great views up there at the burial grounds Love that time lapse Cheers 31
Hi Mike, I'm glad you enjoyed this explore of the Glenashdale Falls and the Giants Graves on the Isle of Arran. It was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort. Thank you very much for watching. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Wow what a gorgeous hike with those Crystal blue skies and lush green foliage makes it so picturesque! Though you were gonna give us a hiking hermit twirl at that bridge 😂 lovely waterfalls! A hit of vitamin D always improves the mood! Wow those views are amazing what a gorgeous day! Super intrigued about these Giants Graves! Wow all the way back from 5000 bc how interesting! Really enjoyed this hike with you Paul nice chill out spot on the way down! Superb 👌
The nice sunny weather sure did make this hike even more beautiful. It was raining that morning! I thought a bridge twirl might be copyrighted 😂 The views on the way and coming down from the Giants Graves were awesome and a real bonus. The Giants Graves were pretty old. They were there way before the Romans which is a bit mind blowing. I'm glad you enjoyed the hike and with a view like that at the bench it was great spot to chill out. Thank you very much for coming along 👍🙂Paul
This was a lovely hike was super views for relatively little effort. The waterfall really was a sight to behold and amazing to think how long the Giants Graves have stood there. I'm glad you enjoyed the views along with my narration. I have been getting a bit of practice with the narration of late. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you're keeping well 🙂 Paul
Another perfect day Paul (your showing us another side to Arron beyond the high peaks ) Super waterfall too mate 👌🏻 The Giants graves are another cool target for a hike (new to me again🤠👍) ATB Simon
Hi Simon, well the weather forecast wasn't that great so didn't fancy getting no views on the high peaks. Fortunately the weather improved as the day went on which made this hike even better. I'm glad you enjoyed the explore. Thank you very much for coming along. I hope you're keeping well 🙂👍Paul
Hey Paul 😊 beautiful views those falls were very impressive. Looked a nice hike this up to the giant stones. Loved the views over towards the bay on the way down. Yes and a bench too with that view I would have chilled out there too, great spot for a timelapse 😊
Hi Yasmin, this was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort. The falls were pretty impressive helped by the recent heavy rain. I was amazed at how good the views over Whiting Bay were. It certainly was a great spot to chill out for a bit. Thank you very much for watching. I hope you're keeping well 👍🙂Paul
That is a fantastic waterfall. Even the hidden one in the distance looks pretty cool. I am definitely going to go there Next time I go to Scotland. The stones are very interesting as well.
The Glenashdale Falls is said to be the best falls on Arran. It sure didn't disappoint. It was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort 🙂
Yey the time lapse is back ... I've missed those and this was a fab one to come back to with a double showing 😁 ... you're spoiling us haha A nice sunny day makes everything look so much better, however the rain must have helped those falls with the wow factor that they gave . Absolutely awsome! Haha were you earwigging that guide? 😃 The views of the bay were stunning & I don't blame you taking a while to drink it all in at the picnic table. Excellent production Paul well done 😊
Well I do try to get the time lapses in when I get the time. That bench seemed like the perfect spot to chill out and capture one. It was raining that morning but always good to see the sun and it made this walk even better. The waterfall was pretty awesome. The guide went on and on for ages. I didn't listen to most of it. I'm not sure how he could ramble on so long about them. I just wanted his crowd to disappear so I didn't have them in my video or photos! I'm glad you enjoyed the outing. Thanks for watching 🙂
Some super amazing amazing view, just love how synchronized and beautiful everything feels watching this, fully enjoyed by Smithdolla ntil the very last inch... Thanks for the great work sharing 🥰

Good work Paul, enjoyed the dramatic time-lapse intro! Lovely day for it. No bridge twirl? 😅 You were dead happy with those falls eh! Very interesting story about the cairns/stones. Wonder what sort of rituals went on there. Superb hike mate, can see you enjoyed that one immensely
Hi Matt, I'm glad you enjoyed the explore. This was a super couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort. The waterfall was quite the spectacle helped by the recent heavy rain. I thought bridge twirls were copyrighted 😂 Not sure what rituals went on at the stones but amazing to think how long they have been there for

Hi Paul Apologies I did not notice your new upload till now No backpack? No bottle of the water? Hmmm.. Must be a short distance... Well done .Certainly, you captured the beautiful view!! Stay tuned for more adventures
Hi Ms Kayak, that's OK, I have been dropping videos at random times of late as I have been struggling to find time. This one was a fabulous couple of hours out with super views for relatively little effort, The height gain seemed to sneak up on me. I didn't need water for such a short walk of about 3-4 miles. Getting the stones up there must have taken some effort and I'm unsure how they did it. I'm glad you enjoyed the explore. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
ooh that little teaser of the falls at the beginning. meanie. leaving them blocked by the fencing. 😂 i want to play pooh sticks at that waterway you crossed at the beginning and end. kapow! there's the payoff for that climb! 😍but then your mug showed up blocking the view. 🤣 just teasing paul, always love when we get to see you enjoying yourself! the bay was so pretty and blue. the cairns were really cool. did you wait until the tour group had moved on before filming? def a great place to chill out there. and i'm so glad you did....timelapse! i love a circular walk. hope you're having a stellar week, paul! 🛴❤
Well I couldn't showcase everything from the off 😂 A good place for pooh stick playing. It was a relatively easy climb with an awesome payback. Got to show my ugly mug to prove I've been there at the Glenashdale Falls 😂 At the Giants Graves I filmed a bit before and bit after the tour group had finished but it was difficult not to get any people in as other people were also visiting. I chilled out at that bench for about 15 minutes. I thought a good place to do a time lapse with that awesome view over Whiting Bay and towards Holy Island. I'm glad you enjoyed the walk and the captured views. Thank you very much for coming along. Have a great week 👍🙂 Paul
