Hi Natasha! Okay, I’m ready to finally make one of these! Well actually I’m gonna make maybe ten of them and take them to our local farmers market and try my hand at selling them!! I’m a bit nervous but I’ll never know unless I try. Thank you for your videos full of inspiration and wonderful ideas. I bought some freezer paper two weeks ago. I have tons of magazines I’m cutting out pictures, words, phrases and things like that and I’ve been fusing them with the freezer paper so they will be more sturdy and idk, look better, easier to use maybe. I want to get some ledger paper and a couple more types of paper for my journal pages and then I’m all set. You and the “Chasing Paper” channel are my inspirations. So I’m off on my journey! It’s a bit scary but so exciting too! Thanks Natasha!!

Can’t wait for the painty paper & easter egg (food) dye tutorials! Including a mistake into the design is an awesome concept, love that! I do not have that awesome doodle book but I searched for ‘zentangle’ on Pinterest and saved some examples in my dedicated for doodles board there. And while at that I got (unexpectantly) inspired to make zentangeled edges for the pages of my journals (using scrap strips). Substituting posca pen with a ball stylus tool + white paint is super helpful! Adding gems inside a circle doodle is another super idea (also Pinterest showed me how to start with some fake gemstones from cheap stores glued to papers and doodle around them, so fun!
Natasha, I often wonder if you actually see your design ideas in your sleep! At the rate you compile these exquisite creations, you can't possibly shut down your brain to switch off. If not, let us know your trick. Just loved the Rainbow 🌈 idea. Good for my meeting with a young lady aged 7yrs old, who asked for me to show her how to make her own journal! I love how you promote imperfection in a way. I have trouble with perfection. I get so caught up in it that it prevents me from doing things i want to do because i already decided in my mind that i wont do it good enough and then so many times i dont even start things i want to try. Its something im working on because its unnecessary anxiety im inflicting on myself. I do find beauty in imperfection im just not as accepting of my own imperfections for some reason. Have been a “doodler” since idk when- I have a go-to doodle that i have been drawing , gosh, dare I say since middle school? It is my comfort doodle.
I also have a zentangle book!

I will be brutally honest - when TH-cam popped up the suggestion for this video, I thought "usually I like her videos, but this one is just too cutesy for me..." Well, later on, I had a tedious task to do and I thought, "Well, I will play it but just as background noise." Well, very quickly, I was paying more attention to the video than the chore! Yes, it is cute (something I have an almost pathologicall aversion to), but it is the good kind of cute; the words charming, whimsical and free spirited,( used as sincere compliments) apply. Thank you- for the inspiration and for the reminder to not be so judgemental!
I totally loved these rainbow journals! I think my granddaughters would love them. I was thinking of leaving the rainbow undecorated and let them decorate them themselves and giving them a few hearts to glue on as well. Thank you for this wonderful inspiration ❤️

lovely journals. There is a lot you can do with the rainbows but I'm not sold on the bookmark like you demonstrated. I could, however, see the rainbow as an altered paperclip bookmark. I love using my painted pages as covers but I've started using thicker paper to paint on. Makes the covers a lot sturdier. Thanks for sharing

This is pretty nice, I think I can use other whimsical things instead of rainbow. You know, mushrooms and houses. These journals are nice and simple, a different style.
