I will do an in depth video for this process with a board that is not coated in silicon.
verified this did increase torque slightly on a slow NCM bike (got the lemon of the bunch) however speed it seems is set by the software (rom) on the board.
I will be attempting an upgrade using a different brand or possibly with the 500w (USA) moscow version controller...

When installing the controller its actually easier to attach some string or wire to the wires prior to removing. That way when you feed the wires back up you can attack that string to the wire to help feed it back up. Helped me in the past plenty.

What did you change once you removed the sealant? A new capacitor? I think I blinked and missed something as all I saw was expose and reseal it
@markedebikes As he mentioned and @10:15 he “beefed up” parts of board etc. and also made breathing room for the board at bottom by makin an air gap w a raised silicone border 👍🏼

What is the other cable for on the key thing? It’s red
limits the voltage of pack if u swap cells out for rc lipo packs and run 60v or 72v u can mod the controller to take the added voltage but only down side is needing to mod the software for low voltage cutoff or mod input reading circut to off set it for higher voltage pack moded bunch of controllers back in day lol still do
Im wondering If you could install controller and torque sensor from the new M7 on to my aspen for me?
Do you know what wires it uses for the speed sensor? Or is it using the motor magnets ? I’m having issues finding an off-road kit for mine and I’m slower on this than my regular pedal bike.
I live in Sydney and have a Milano plus. I tried changing the settings by entering a code but it did nothing. Is there another way for me to increase the speed limit??

Hi. I have an NCM Miami where the power assist seems to kick-in with every right foot downward stroke. So basically the PA is kicking in and out every half crank revolution. The power burst that happens with the 1st pedal after turning still works Ok, so I'm thinking it's a sensor issue. Can you please suggest what could be wrong?
It's sensor or setting (you can change these usually in the display)
Check the owners manual and modify the settings to have the correct magnet count, also check the magnets are not missing or the magnet wheel is not bent or installed on an angle and the sensor is close enough, check for dirt as well

That's obviously an option, but not something I was able to charge this customer for, however if you want to send me the build, I may consider making them in bulk and I'll split the profits with you.

hi i got a ncm aspen im wondering if you know if eggrider is posible to put on these with a 8pin splitter or if its possible to put a different controller in the same place that this one is on the moscow i dont know what one to get or if its even possible

It is possible in some countries to do this, and it is possible to trick the bike as well but this means getting wrong speed readings. If you would like to contact me, search on google for Marked eBikes
Hi would a KT controller and and KT LCD3 display work with this bike and are the connectors the same as they say they are better than the Lishui ones as I think my controller is playing up unless its the dodgy connection.
No, unfortunately the connections are different. You would need an adapter and then the electronic brake cut off would no longer connect. Do you want to bring it over for assessment, all my assessment work is free, no obligation
@@Marked.eBikes Hi thanks but I found a used Das Kit 15a controller and a new C7 display and it is working fine now and assists me up to about 20mph instead of 15mph. I think he pulled one of the wires off the display board that`s why it was`nt working.
@@autotunekilledthevideostar639 make sure the ebrake cut off is working, without it the bike can present certain dangers, I have been injured from working on bikes without the cut off engaged. The ebike decided to take itself for a spin because the peddle assist kicked in and the brake I had on didn't override the controller, my hand got smashed into a frame because I tried to stop it running off.
I am glad you have it all working, that bike should do 30 +/-1 kph, so it sounds about right
@@Marked.eBikes Yes the one side works ok but i dont have twin brake sensors as mine is UK spec and not a plus model. I do have another sensor but its same one as I have already for the rear brakes I got it free when I bought the controller and display so cant fit it to the front brake. Mine works fine now it was unrideable as it cut in and out constantly even on 0 assist
@@Marked.eBikes is that the a normal KT splitter 8 pin to 5pin breaks and a thottle that ur talking about and is it possible just to buy new breaks???

You mean turn it into a fixed gear or change the motor to a non geared (direct drive) hub?
If it is the latter, simple answer is yes and I can do that for you
Useless video, also ppl should stop messing with the electricals of ebikes, this can cause problems and makes things defective which can potentially cause fires...which doesnt reflect good on the ebike community
