Think there was no one more deserving of a medal than you in that race!! Deeply impressive effort!!👏😃 My tactic to become national champion would be to first become a citizen of a country with a small and weak cycling scene! Think that would be a great first step!!😅
WOW!!!! Congratulations on your podium. Your mental strenght is off the charts. For me as a master's racer, is one of my strenght also. What I lack is racing tactics. You clearly have both of these which put you in such a great position. But also, to be able to race so smart at that level of intensity and stay focused is the difference between a podium finish or finishing.Well done. I enjoyed your video very much and took some great tips from you for my upcoming race season.
Hi Tilly... glad I found the channel :) I like the commentary videos, and would love to see you doing some onboard highlights... a bit like Norcal Cycling and Legion do. Get a go pro on the front and then use your own footage. I'd love to see more of that!
I think it’s the Aussie in me, barracking for the underdog, that had me smiling through this whole video. Well done Tilly, incredible and love how you still can’t believe it. 😂😂
Awesome breakdown! I was holding my breath at the end even though the results were in the thumbnail I would love to hear more about what it means to ride for someone else, and how you strategize and plan with your team before a race. I've only ever raced solo in the beer league so it is all foreign to me.
Thanks Peter! I’ll try to share more insights on this. This race was very casual/last minute planning as we were so under dog with our limited numbers that we didn’t really have many options anyway haha definitely more too it for big ones. I’ll be sure to share :)
Great ride Tilly. You have loads of potential, and you probably don’t realise how much you could achieve. It takes at least three years of training to get somewhere near your potential.
I would've probably ran 1 bottle with an electrolyte tab in it, and had one energy gel on the start line, whether I had another during the race I'm not sure.. but imagine I didn't as knew it would be aggressive and hard to find a moment, it was also warm, and I had been a little sick the previous night/morning so prioritised hydration over carbs :)
Thanks! I used Corsa Graphenes as my race tyre and thiiink I ran them tubeless at about 70-73psi at 59kg? Beyond that, the bike is a weapon in general. The head stem Is sawn down so there’s no spacers for max aero lol and it had just had the new SRAM Force AXS put on while it was under embargo. Zipp 303s wheels 👍
Outrageous power repeats, you are so much more talented than you realise.

Gosh what a race Tilly! Congrats! Tired just watching that race. Seemed relentless the attacks
This was so inspiring.....🎉🎉
Congratulations
Congratulations Tilly. You have learnt racecraft very quickly for a relatively new rider and went out there and killed 'em!

Thank you Daniel, I’m so glad I could offer something of value in sharing this race. All the best for your races!! Let us know how it goes.
Great video Tilly. Such great insight into something most of us will never experience. What a gutsy ride!

AMAZING 🎉🎉 simply amazing Tilly. Holy heck. You are so inspiring ❤️
Means a lot, thanks Amie 🥹
Great job, young lady! That was as exciting to watch as the women's Paris-Roubaix. Keep it up. 👍 😁👍😀
Biggest compliment ever!

Nice one tillster
Oh hi! Thanks :)
Fantastic result Tilly. You must be very happy. For a future video, In retrospect were Zwift races good Prep for the Crit?
Don’t undersell yourself, you are so strong, still improving and the Zwift suffering pays off 👌🏼

830+ watts, a good 600+ for about 10 seconds on that attack! That had to hurt, lol but worth it 🏅 🔥👍🏻
Pro cycling stats says Tilly’s 59kg so that’s a little over 14 w/kg and then 10!
@@Zzyyxx22 and that’s after working for the team whole race 🤘🏻
It BURNT!! After the race I couldn’t get my breathe in, as if it hurt trying to inhale 🙈
Great job. What bar width are you running? It looks like you could go a lot narrower, given the width of your shoulders.
LFG!!!! 🦾🦾🦾
Congrats!!! You are the most brave and strong girl on a bike🙂👍
🥹🥹 thank you!
what did you eat & drink during the race?

How did you set up your bike for those races?
