That’s an insane ride after starting it pushing VO2 power for so long. Your legs should have been toast after 15-20 minutes. Unbelievably strong mental effort!
As I was watching in awe your W/Kg I was drawn to the video posted when we saw Rohan Dennis do the climb in an Zwift event , but what super impressive was your ability to push / hold with a what I can only image must have been your HR at V02 or very close . Bravo 🙌. Herculean effort, looking forward to more to come and seeing you moving up in position
Great ride Tilly 👌🏼 insane but great. No way could I climb for that long 😂 your commentary over the race makes it so interesting and seeing you push and struggle just shows how hard it actually is.!! Well done 👍🏼
So important to know the cheeky spots where you can put in a little dig on the courses. I always struggle with the start of this climb, it's a fine balance of going to hard up the first two turns. Good to see you back racing.
I always knew world tour riders were strong but it's amazing to see your stats in "real time" during a race like that. (Especially as one who's tried that hill a few times and can compare my weak performance directly!) Fwiw - too many times Zwift videos focus on the rider sweating on their trainer pulling faces and such (GCN!) instead of showing the actual race being ridden. It's maddening so I really appreciate the candor and openness of this style!
That’s pretty awesome Tilly I’ve completed that climb too … strategy for me was more of zone 2-3 and 4 for 80% of the session then a push to the end .. recording over 100w over my FTP… I think also it’s important not to get in the mind set of staying with the bunch right from the start… that’s my theory for sure .. 👍👍Zwift is the best without a doubt
I just did Alpe for the first time 2 weeks ago (I'm a Zwift and generally could be considered a cycling newbie ) and my time was nowhere near that. lol wow what an effort!
Nice job. I just rode this as a complete newbie to zwift. After an hour, I had to stop and help my wife with house stuff but still had 4.6 miles to go. My legs are shot. Lol
Don't forget about the neutralized bikes. One of the managers was once told that the neutralized bike stats were that of the Zwift Carbon bike with 30 mm wheels. If your best time was on a climbing bike/wheels that's definitely worth a minute on the Alpe! Nice work.
@@mooxima thank you! Weigh in protocol involves filming and sending to officials within 2hours of the race start. There’s strict instructions prescribed that you must follow including showing a 10kg+ weight on scale, moving it, filming under, must be in middle of room, film time of day and URL of live site etc etc I often forget something and have to film 2/3 times 😅
its very impressive that you could hold your power that well. not sure how you did that after your first big push. normally that breaks a person going like this in such a climb 🙂
Thanks Tilly. Really insightful and enjoyable video. I always go too hard at the beginning of the climb! Just looking at the winners stats - 226W Av @ 5W/Kg. Some basic maths says they're about 45Kgs . . .
Was wondering about this in Zwift. For races like this, what's stopping someone like me who's 200+ lbs from simply stating I weigh 85 lbs and then rocketing on the climbs?
Cool, you are like a machine, I would never have thought that such a fragile girl had so much strength. I listened to a lecture by a cardiologist here, he said that having heart rate at such high values in the long term can have a bad effect on health, what do you think about this?
Yikes racing up the Alpe would make me very nervous. I'm 57 kg, and going to be 57 years old in 3 weeks and my best up the Alpe is 41.59, Standing all the way at 277 w. Almost the same as the top female rider in this race. Paving as it turns out is Key to a good time. It always hurts though, Well done!!💪💪
These are some of the worlds strongest women! I know if one of you gals showed up to an average group ride you'd have a lot of the guys dead by the end :)

Unbelievable effort and also nailed the wheels as a reward!
Strong ride! This old guy is still working hard to someday crack one hour up the Alpe!

And of course you got the Lightweight wheels! Great work up the climb.
Thanks :) Well done for noticing! They do actually neutralise all the gear in Grand Prix races so there’s no weight advantages 😅
Great work. I did this climb for the first time last week. I'm still mentally traumatised but happy it's ticked off as completed
really enjoy the comments over the actual race as well as the post ride commentary. best of luck looking forward to see more!
Insane ride! Way to dig deep - and reflect on what you could potentially do differently. 47 up the Alpe is top tier stuff. Well done.

14:03 Bonus getting a / another set of Millies.
Loved this. The openness about what you could have done differently was refreshing. Look forward to the next climb - top effort.

Phenomenal effort and gratz on the lightweight wheels! 🎉
What a great video and effort up the Alpe. Welldone 🙌
Beast mode! Thanks for sharing. As a newbie on Zwift, this is very helpful. Watching you, I’ve definitely got work to do!

Kudos for showing your performances online. This is an excellent video. Very well done.
Cool you're racing Tilly 🏁 💃
…then off to work….big kudos! Very instructive, thank you.
Wow that was a mad ride.
Love the comment as you are going up a 11% grade - " reducing my watts here" while you still bang out 300w. Insane 👏👏
Respect for the discipline it takes to get to your fitness level. Great watts/kg. And of course, your undeniable beauty.
Congrats!
Great job! Great video, and thanks for all the work that goes into shooting a video a racing all before starting your day!
Well done Tilly! You did very well, and thanks for a great video.
Great work! Very impressive 👍🦵🚴🏅
Wow, incredible ride with a great video and commentary!
Very fast start....tough ride to start off so strong..fair play to you ...
Nice job. I just rode this as a complete newbie to zwift. After an hour, I had to stop and help my wife with house stuff but still had 4.6 miles to go. My legs are shot. Lol
That looked tough, great job!!!
That was brutal. Great effort!
Awesome race...I felt all your pain like I was riding all over again. You would drop me like a bad habit... LoL
Astounding mound, lots of curvy bits with a fair few inclines. Bob on squiffy bob on!
Great job grinding this one out! Subbed
Super cool! That loooked so challenging
She’s back!

Nice job real nice effort good luck on the next points race
Great Ride! 👏
Seriously incredible effort and power sustained up that mountai! I was sweating just watching it.
Very nice race 👏🏼 , the Meilenstein wheels were a greatly deserved bonus here 😁
Very well done! Last Sunday I did almost the same time you've just done! That hurts 😅
I enjoyed this video. I love Zwift mountain climb videos.
You got the wheels too! How good!
Wow mega ride so cool to see how hard you worked well done 👊🏼
You are a so generous athlete congrats Tilly
Unbelievable effort. Got me well and truly covered. I don’t think i could even finish at that pace!
Very impressive riding! I'm still working on the sub 60 minute AdZ goal.
Very enjoyable to watch and listen
Wow you really really digged deep.
Impressive 👍
The pre race sounds hectic. Definitely not a Saturday roll with the gang. 😂
Awesome effort! How did you get elevation profile information on the top right?
Unreal effort! Well done!
seeing you do that in 47 minutes ... then I look at my best time of 72 minutes ... argh ... long way to go =)
Amazing ! What is the site at the end of the video where you see your statistics?
I need those wheels 🥳 well done 👏
great job Tilly, can I ask what software that is at the end you show your race info in? thank so!

@@tillyonabike Aha! Thank you! :)
Wow! Good for you Tilly, you were saying you weighed yourself, must you prove your weight in order to race? How is that done?

so motivational effort to the end. well ridden
Deepest respect! Will die within 5 min at this Watts 😂
Good race; thanks for the vid. Is your time up mt Nebo about the same as the time up the Alpe?
Outstanding Performance!
Impressive W/kg! Great finish push!
Helps beeing light that's for sure! 😮
Can someone please tell me where she's viewing her data 15:25 what site what service or programm is that thank you in advance
You got the Lightweight wheels! I've done this climb so many times and still haven't got them. I was beginning to think it was a con.
I know what you mean. I just got them on my 16th ascent.
Your numbers are insane, I thought I was a true king averaging 150 watts :).
That was awesome… could relate 👌
Hey well done cruel climb you done great 💪😊
What's the weigh in process. U said u ate than weighed. Do they make u wear the full kit then weigh right before race. Thanks.
Great effort 💪 💪💪
Those Watts are massive. Way to push!!
Reckless Watts!! Very Nice!! 💪💣
Being in the pain cave for almost 50 minutes and not even a single swear!
Amazing!
monster ride!
Was it with home-trainer difficulty to 100% Great ride
Very impressive ride.
excellent effort
You got the wheels!
its very impressive that you could hold your power that well. not sure how you did that after your first big push. normally that breaks a person going like this in such a climb 🙂
Well done 🎉🤙
This was painful just to watch! Good Job!
Dam, 54min is movin!! I went sub 60min for the first time today and definitely puked in my mouth on the last 500M push to get 59:33 😂😵💫
Kicking!

Thats half my weight 😂😂😂

how is that only 96 tss, massive effort !!
great effort. we have similar power, and make similar noises :D, but i'm much heavier and about 20 minutes behind:D
The Lightweight Wheels you earnt on the Climb will improve your time if you use them on the next climb with a Lightweight Frame
Well done on that ride Tilly💪🏽good stuff on unlocking the meilenstein wheelset🫡
What's your FTP? I can't imagine i can push 6w/kg as man :D
Respect
And you got the wheels :)
Your numbers would bury me😅
와우 진짜 잘달리신다😮
54 minutes up Alpe du Zwift. That’d be a dream run for me….

Great facial expression. I almost felt your pain
your real world kit, matches your virtual kit. 😎
Yeah just have to pace it to perfection. Better to start out low and overtake people. It's also a better moral booster than the other way. 😅
