I personally enjoy a bottomless portafilter! Nothing wrong with the one they included though :)
It will be good after some modifications like 9 bar spring instead of factory 12,5
the 2023 version has 9 bar, you still need to do the dimmer and pid yourself tho
@@bookies24k8 at that point get something like a sage duo temp pro, way cheaper (especially 2nd hand) and it already has PID
The 9 bar mod was one of the first things I did to my Gaggia. Super simple mod!
what mods have you done and what portafilter are you using?
I agrée 100%. It is my first machine. Coming off Dedica. Gaggia classic is so much better and it is not at all hard to get a good shot.
