Hi Mark. Yes it’s great 👍 really good quality and easy to fit. I managed a good ride out yesterday in the winter sunshine ☀️ not to far but it was great to be back in the bike 👍
Hi Jack, Great video. I bought the Motone helmet lock 2 as well i noticed that there were two washers included a thin but larger (The one you used) and a smaller but much thicker. Do you know what the second washer is for? BR Tore
Hi Mathew . Good question I wouldn’t like to carry a second helmet where the lock is mounted ie to the shock. It is probably possible but I wouldn’t think it safe and would need extra securing to stop it moving near the wheel 🤔
A handy piece of kit offering security for your lid, what a good idea.

All bikes should come with one of these fitted. Will be purchasing one of those….thanks Jack.
Hi Steve. Yes you are right they are a necessity 👍
My helmets are all ratcheting. Will a chin strap fit through the lock sufficiently?
That'll do me nicely, thank you for telling me about this!
Thank you Laurie. Glad you found the video useful 👍
Surely a long bolt is needed when fitting this ?

Do you still like this helmet lock? I'm looking into it, also wondering if its compatible with panier rails attached.
Hi Drew . Yes the helmet lock is fantastic and yes it is compatible with pannier rails. I have recently fitted the Motone Custom rails 👍.
Looking good sir
Thank you Phillip 👍
If you need to ride and carry a second helmet will this work?
