  • Hey lovely people! Welcome back on Explomo.
Today we proudly present you this beautiful untouched abandoned house, in which all the furniture, belongings and even money was left. After exploring it we got spotted by a local cititzen, and we found out something very disturbing: in the barn of the house there was committed suicide by a homeless person.

I actually live in an abandoned mansion now! It is quite good. It is only a little bit damp. There is electricity & running water, I can even have a bath. There is a lot of stuff but I have cleared space on a bed to sleep on. It is quite comfortable. I can cook food & there are blankets & hot water bottles. I try not to use too much electricity. I needed somewhere to go. I can be peaceful here now.

Hi Maureno and Remon, I was nearly speechless when watching this video. It was an incredible experience of looking into
a completely well preserved timecapsule. I loved the way, how you showed us through these rooms with your very respectful and
compassionate comments. - Great explore, boys! - Go on like that! - I am sorry to repeat myself, but you really remind me
so much of Lesley Houben and Jordy, Bros of decay, whom I as well love watching all the time. By the way it was also
amazing to see how polite you were to that concerned neighbour, who opened herself to you, when she saw, that you
were harmless explorers. - I would even go so far and say: That is the right way, how in global dimensions Peace on Earth
could work, because it only requires the mutual respect from each other to come to a successful and peaceful conversation.
    - Well done! - Blessings and kindest regards from Switzerland!

Obviously this place is being watched over and cared about by the locals. And like it was mentioned in the video at the end, the Son does not want his Dad's home demolished and that it is being cared for. There should be no question about that. So, strange to see the bed, the shower, the toilet, the wardrobe all in the same room. But, hey some bathroom is better than no bathroom. Or even an outdoor toilet. Sorry, to hear a homeless person was found deceased on the property. You guys are awesome and so very respectful. If only everyone who visited these abandoned (or not) places were just as respectful. But, in all aspects of society there are unfortunately those who just don't give a rats behind about anyone or anything. It's all to common in watching these videos to observe the destruction, vandalism, the theft, of other people's property. Whether they be alive or deceased it still belongs to them up until the time someone living changes that fact legally. Thanks for sharing guys. Great job!!! 😊 ✌🏼

Thank you for sharing this, Explomo! Your respect and appreciation for people's private spaces and belongings is clearly demonstrated here. I am glad that you were able to have a civil and educational conversation later with the concerned neighbor. Additionally, I am glad she is watching out for the property which most likely has contributed to the preservation.
I hope that the vandals NEVER reach this place for the sake of the family that wants to preserve it in memory of their loved ones.

In the U.S, that house would be destroyed, the neighbor would be mean and aggressive. In the past 20 years, the majority of Americans have lost their minds. I live in a working class neighborhood. I also know lots of people in America with same experience as mine. Please don’t generalize all Americans as not caring. During COVID - me and my neighborhood all took care of each other making sure we all had what we needed as far as supplies etc. we also have many abandoned places here as well and none of them have been destroyed or vandalized.

OK #7 to explore....Scooby dooby do! We have a lamp like that...now I know the kind of shade I need..:)
The photo showing their wealth by the fur coat she is wearing. Must have been a very upscale family.
The standing ash tray was a cultural item. Some simple ...some fancy..but because smoking was considered an activity that meant it was time to relax ..have a drink and a cigarette--they wanted that moment to unwind to be special. Much more formal life style than now, when people are as happy to vape or have ashtrays they can carry along.
I am happy to see that there is a culture of urban explorers that know how to respect someone else's things.. great respect to the families and in honor to those that have passed before us.
Very unusual pass through to the kitchen. The detail in the shape of the opening where the religious plate hung.
The photo above the cabinet of glasses in the kitchen...very unusual spot for a standing frame..
11:02..the shoe wardrobe. How neat was that wardrobe with the doors that drop down!
Maybe once again..someone was ill and the bed in the bathroom was a thought to give the person access to the first floor and the convenience of the bath and kitchen. I could see the microwave there as a way to re heat food ..or water for hot coffee or tea. But yeah...in the average home today....no.

The lack of heavy dirt/dust tells me someone is tending to this property. Maybe not on a regular basis, but someone has been there not long ago. These two punks simply broke in, and are subject to arrest. What they are doing is illegal.

Standing ash trays gained popularity from 1900's well into the 1950's. The reason being it was easier to flick your cigarette by a standing ashtray then it was to search for an ashtray on a table. I believe they fell out of favor when little kids would knock them over with their tiny tricycle bike when they would race through the house.... guilty.

    • @robinlong1653
      @robinlong1653 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I had several quite old standing ashtrays from my family. One 1 side, they all smoked, "back in the day" & died of lung cancer/lung disease. I was happy to get rid of them because they were reminders of what killed one side of my family.♡
