Exploring an Abandoned Hospital Full of Medical Supplies

- In today’s video we are taking you inside a creepy old abandoned hospital that left behind so much medical equipment behind and it also had one of the best morgues that we have ever explored. Now when we initially found this hospital, we didn’t know anything about it other than it being a recent closure, so it was definitely sketchy but since then the hospital has gotten quite popular. The hospital was built in the 1950s and although it closed as a hospital several years ago, it has been used as a nursing home and during the pandemic for COVID-19 patients. The morgue still had the original porcelain autopsy table, hand written notes in the morgues body log, and the freezer with a gurney and shelves of stainless steel trays, where deceased bodies were stored before and after the autopsy. But the hospital had much more than just the morgue, as there were operating rooms, a radiology or X-ray room, and even a lab with a blood bank! And that’s going to take its to the end of today’s video on this incredible abandoned hospital. We hope that you all enjoyed another video from abandoned central. I forgot to mention, if this was a children’s hospital, it would be even further sadder to see the morgue. The hospital of my birth, a children’s hospital, is also abandoned. When I gained access to this property, the morgue was locked, but just seeing the word "Morgue" on the door, in a children's hospital, sent chills down my spine, and I shook and wept. If it was an adult hospital, yes, I indeed would be saddened, but I wouldn't have cried like a baby. My father worked at that children's hospital as an RN for shy of forty years, he briefly worked in the morgue, he said the accidental overdose cases, particularly with children who mistake their parent's drugs for candy, made him weep as well.
So sad some of this equipment could have been donated. Many of the beds, gurneys, and wheelchairs including electronic equipment could have been donated. One single hospital bed costs thousands. That digital scale costs a huge fortune. This is a haunting, interesting presentation. Thank you.
We agree, as fun as it is to explore hospitals like this, it does suck to see all the equipment go to waste when it could still be used somewhere. Thanks for watching.
What a waste of tax payers money. And that stuff wasted and rotting away, its appalling really
If you only knew how much abandon extremely toxic waste is left behind. A very famous University hospital in Chicago was putting air conditioning in a 3 story university teaching hall. In the attic where we had to run the ductwork out, I found 6 mummified brains dried up in laboratory clear jars. Some Doctor put them in the attic in the mid 1960’s. It was 1992. I have removed old ductwork with live TB swabs and moon suits. Bad Ju Ju.
Abandoned central thanks for sharing this video with me about Exploring an Abandoned Hospital Full of Medical Supplies it was a really interesting video and God Bless.
I worked in a Pharmacy for 20 years and yes the good stuff is locked up under a key or number pad , haha
The only complaint I have is that this video wasn’t long enough and it felt a little rushed but thanks for sharing your adventures with us❤❤❤
Thank you for your feedback. We filmed this location back before it blew up in the urbex community, and at the time security would check on it. So we were rushed to not get caught inside.
@ I totally get it ;) thanks for risking it for us ❤️
Oh gosh don't touch that stuff 😮
27:27 I think those are examples of decubitus ulcers or bed sores from when patients lay in bed all day, sometimes in soiled linens and the infection can start to eat away the skin and expose the tailbone. Especially in nursing homes where people are confined to their beds 24/7. Thanks for sharing your adventures
This is out of this world in terms of stuff left behind from when the place was abandoned. Wow. Even the morgue tables were still there too. I would not be surprised if vials of blood were still there too.
Hi, guys. Just come across ur channel. I've been enjoying it very much. I can't believe the equipment that's in some of these places. Thank you for ur great work. From Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️
Abandoned hospitals are always cool🏥 Appreciate you sharing! Stay safe out there💚
Thank you Brenda!
@@abandonedcentral you're welcome💜
PLEASE do more hospital videos ❤ this is my last one of you guys - I have watched all the rest 😂😊😊😊
So wild seeing the old school equipment. X-rays are digitized now.
I used to service those very same GE xray systems. That system was probably installed in the early seventies.
All of that equipment that could be put to good use, just breaks my heart!!
I work in a hospital and see the security guards always transporting the dead with a sheet draped over these pimped out stretchers(they have supports to hold the sheet so it doesn't touch the body) and lemme just stay I get weird chills down my spine every time I see this routine happen. I work in the kitchen and I don't even get this chill on my body from even going in the walk-in.
Touching blood cultures with no gloves....
Fascinating video. Man, I’d love to be there with you.
💪🏼🍻
Same❤
Very spine tingling just seeing that autopsy tag with all that personal info, especially the macabre “Brain Jars” label. Do you plan one day on exploring Japan, especially the Fukushima Prefecture? I would avoid Chernobyl because of the war.
You guys are so much fun! Brain Jars, Quarantine and stuff growing 😂😂😂 Love it! Thanks for posting! ❤
Really enjoyed watching yr video 😮
Thank you so much 😊
Cool hospital with old school equipment. Thank you for sharing this video
Thanks for watching James 🙌
The hospital I work at the Morgue is called Anatomic Pathology. Awesome video
Another great video... thx guys!
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos, greetings from the Netherlands 👏🏻
No junkies have been in there because if they did there wouldn't be any stainless steel or copper left.
Please put things like X-ray s back where you found them instead of throwing them around. That is disrespectful. Thank you
No what was disrespectful was them being left behind in the first place them moving them around does nothing move on 😂🤡
@@michaeltaylor4421 one disrespectful thing doesn’t cancel another in my opinion
the ryobi things are foggers to disinfect a whole room by spraying in a mist with disinfectant in it. very effective the mist goes everywhere and clings to it.
Thank you this channel, this location abandoned hospital is leaves behind with equipment items, largerst space, alot of room, long distances corridor, all in complete nice, may know where is this abandoneds location hospital, this is lk like emergency location, it lk great amazing channel, bless to explore teams with safe, take care and careful wherever enter in any explore location, good luck,. From. Raddy, ddy.
I definitely love you guys videos. Keep them coming
Wow this is creepy I bet that hospital is extremely haunted. Good video
Believe me it is I used to work at a nursing home and cleaned many people up before they were taking away one thing I remember was a man that had died and that same night that alarm kept going off I had to disconnect it and put a probe in it , remember say you can go home you are free no more pain are medicine after that it was quiet
Those tubes for blood draws cannot be used so they left it. The preservatives that are in them expire and most likely expired
Love those tile lined Hall ways from back in the day
Such a waste.
We live in such a throw away society. So wasteful when less fortunate countries could use this stuff.
This is how everything ends, people will no longer be around at said location and eventually this will be the whole world when God comes down and eliminates all. To dust we come from to dust we return. *Facts.* Great video. It's creepy to see how once this place was full of people, now nothing.
Honestly great job pronouncing levetiracetam. You wouldn’t believe how many nurses I know that struggle with med names (including me with certain ones)
I know William Williams. He was good friends with Richard Dick.
And he dated E. Norma Stitts! 😉
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND JOB DUDE VERY VERY UNIQUE THANKS 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for supporting our channel!
Good video, though it would have been thoughtful to blur out the name and info on the toe tag
Toe Tag name is fake. Thanks for watching.
Have a Beer on Anthony
Yikes! All that bio just laying around! I'm surprised some special person didn't come along and break them all open. Smh. This is a scary one for sure.
How can a hospital be abandoned? Where do all the doctors and patients go? Why leave all that expensive stuff there? 😂
Alot of times they can't afford to pay for the place or some kind of laws were broken or the hospital moved it's sad all the equipment get left be hind and not taken or donated
The Walking Dead, episode 1.
Horrible look at some of that crazy equipment they use on people. I hope patients are not in pain
I felt bad for the guy who was tied up and couldnt breathe.
What happens to the continuity of the patients treatment surely their medical info goes with them to wherever they next go 🤔 never the less AC another awesome vid 👍❤️
What a waste of millions of dollars, and many people are going with out especially if they are poor, health insurance pays for all of it, an absolute waste. Gov needs to be ashamed of its
These guys are so sick... but I'm the same way when I visit a new city I have to go by the cemeteries...😮😢😂
Why is it not still in use ? It looks in good condition
Very cool
Thanks for watching!
These guys are so sick... but I'm the same way when I visit a new city I have to go by the cemeteries...😮😢😂 that morgue is all stain steel I would be there too!😅
Haha thanks for watching!
That is one amazing place
Well done
Thank you!
As usual another badass video !
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching 👊🏼
Great video as always.... the model butt at the end could it be for pressure sore points , pressure sores get quite nasty ... ,maybe a dummy to learn people off how they can get 😊
That stuff is a bio-hazard😮
I really like ur videos. But u should blur out peoples names at least last names
I agree
I agree with you it’s a matter of respect
@@deniseshephard3347there was even one at the mourge where they didn’t even blur at least the name out, incredibly disrespectful
These two are disrespectful. Where's the old explorers who weren't fixated on stealing from the abandoned places. Sick
Please explain what was disrespectful in this video? Fixated on stealing? WTF are you even talking about?
Still waiting for your response? @page57
So what if they did take some stuff. You would too. You are a hypocrite because you try and label these 2 as a thief but you are scared to call out the gov. They are the real thieves
hello from Denmark😊🌝❤️. Nr 1
Hello 😊 Thanks for watching. Can't wait to eventually explore Denmark someday!
A lot of money in scrap metal……..$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Wash your hands with soap and water 💧
The replica of the human buttocks shows where bed sores would appear! Bed sores are horrible. I've witnessed them.
Spooky hallways
I want to see patient rooms and surgical suites.
All patient rooms and surgical suites were gutted as shown in the video.
Are you fellows from the Detroit area??
Bob is. Thanks for watching!
There was parted rooms on like the 4th floor with still the padded bed and pillow to
Patted*
Laughing in the morgue? Touching every dang thing? No thanks.
Clearly exploring isn't for you Brenda. I think we both established that by your comment.
@@abandonedcentral Having respect for people that have died there means exploring isn't for me? Mmkay. I have actually done my share of it without posting on social media for likes. There are plenty of other UE channels (like The Proper People) to watch and I will gladly do that.
Hmmm. What could have been the reason for so many chest X-ray and containment equipment? I believe it is pretty disrespectful to say the names of the patients. You never know who is watching. They had an expectation of privacy that the hospital violated. I’ve never seen another video where patient’s identity was exposed.
At the mourge you literally could zoom into a patients name and see it, they didn’t even attempt to blur the name out, disrespectful they are
1765 Hero hospital France old hospital
Where are they
Please do not touch these you could catch something as it’s very dangerous also it’s very disrespectful to say the patience names as it’s a hipaa
This hospital is too new to be abadnoed, this place will be intereseted in 20 years. 😅
😂
Dont show names. Hipaa
How can it be hipaa when someones most likely already dead?
Why you dont wear gloves
You should put things back where you find them instead of leaving them out and throwing things about like the scalpel thats what gives other explorers a bad name other than that it was a great explore
Y’all are so disrespectful to that hospital. …. Go around laughing.. really immature. Why do y’all think death is something to laugh about? I won’t watch anymore of your crap. Back to Watching
Jeremy X or others. Definitely not you.
So disrespectful? Because of a laugh that had nothing to do with the morgue but something that was said off camera? You think thats disrespectful? How about Jeremy's entire crew making up lies and fake stores about family getting murdered when it never happened and its all complete lies that they profit from telling? Lol kick rocks Debb ✌
I was at an autopsy for a medical class & the medical examiner was cracking a lot of jokes. If you can’t laugh, why bother? It’s not disrespectful at all.
I bet the doctors and nurses make fun of you a lot.
Two many curse words. Clean up your language.
Why? It’s their video.
I definitely love you guys videos. Keep them coming
Thanks for watching Gina! 🙌
