- On rainy days, we experiment! We are going to be baking the same loaf of bread in 4 different ovens and see which one is the best for bread making. We will be using our electric countertop oven, an electric home convection oven, a professional pastry oven and our deck oven as well. Are you ready to see the results with us?
This is the recipe we used in the video:
Sourdough Bread
Dough weight: 1000 grs
Ingredients:
• (90%) Bread Flour: 469 grs
• (10%) Whole wheat flour: 52 grs
• (70%) Water: 365 grs
• (20%) Sourdough Starter: 104 grs
• (2%) Salt: 10 grs

The part about how you keep and use your starter was really useful to me, especially the precise factual information.
Argentina Best is the dutch oven. That's what I use. Very consistent...
Yes the cleaver Dutch people
I cried when you cut into that beautiful (warm) loaf. Though it still looked delicious. Love your videos!
The counter top oven is just a real pretty loaf 👧🏻
Nothing beats fresh baked bread just after cooling! Most restaurants can't compete.
Try mixing rye spelt whole wheat Einkorn. .. more complex nutty flavors.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS.... THANK YOU I LEARNED SO MUCH!! AND I REALLY LIKE THE COOKING BAG TECHNIQUE...
Another vote for Buenos Aires! Is this beautiful place your home?
I like the look of the Dutch oven bread. Where are you? Mexico?
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain! Team DO, here. I love your style
WTF? That is not the same loaf of bread, there are 4 separate loaves!
Ha ha ha lost in the translation 🤭
...you're not that dense.
I love all of your content & all of the lovely loaves you just baked. I’m in San Diego, CA…I wish you were in Tijuana so I can come have some delicious sourdough and steal one of your flour mills:)
What is the brand of oven that you put the Dutch oven into. I cannot find that oven. Please reply… Thx, Al
Barcelona, Spain
Do you have any suggestions for a large countertop oven that will bake perfect breads?
What a lovely chaotic day you had over there 🤣
I have the Anova steam oven with s baking steel. Unfortunately the fan must be on with steam. My ear formation had not been great even with turning off oven. I've had better results with preheating a pot and inverting in the steel (like cast iron dutch oven)
Where are you located??? in the LAB! What a wonderful place to be!
I would love any of them. My method is the Dutch oven❤ are you in Spain?
I was looking for your video with the turn off a fan-onven hack, but couldn't find it. Couldn't you post the link to it.
Can the bread be first cooked in a steamer, then baked in dry fan oven? My fan can't be turned off.
BEAUTIFUL MOUTHWATERING
Barcelona???❤
Mmmmm.... guess again!
@@glutenmorgentven Buenos Aires, Argentina.
if i make cuts as deep as your my dough would collapse, how do i get a stiff dough like yours, recipe is similar
Slow cold fermented - he said it at the beginning
I prefer not burned😂
Just saw your lovely courtyard! Nice!
Argentina - Dutch Oven always a success. Learnt a lot of important info especially about the starter thanks!
Barcelona?
Almost
I am watching from Australia. You are in Spain. Wish to visit one day.
Don’t say one day ,put a date on it
You are in Spain. I think the first bread you cut into was the best,it was the Dutch oven method.
I love baking sourdough breads also love your videos. I have a countertop oven and have been thinking about trying a smaller loaf because I have a small covered enamel pot..I think it will work..what do you think?
Your accent is not giving your location completely away...Buenos Aires.
I like the Dutch oven loaf the best* such good information. Cheers
Great video! All good looking breads. I like the Dutch Oven one best.. Have you tried a pan with lava rocks and water in the Deck oven? I tried that in my home oven and had good results.
I watched this on 2x speed and I can feel the ADHD through the screen. So chaotic but very informative XD
Mexico??
You always bake your bread, so the bread you was baked you sell or you eat?
Buenos Aires. I think it has been for the longest, even though lately has been travelling and if I am right he open a bakery store somewhere in Spain, I don’t remember the exact city.
Hard to say which one is better unless you ship some for me😊.. Good video. Wish I could bake like you one day. ❤ from India
Winner… Dutch oven without a doubt 😁🇬🇧👍
