@ I disagree because he didn’t workout with Lamar this year. Bate was coming off injury last year and was still leading the league in separation. Monk just used him wrong imo.
Facts. You saw so much potential in 2021-22, it was frustrating seeing him constantly getting open and not getting the ball. I feel like this is the first year him and Lamar are finally on the same page.
On that 3rd play, Stanley got beat forcing Lamar to step off his line and thus he couldn't set his feet and put alot on the throw. If he had time, that's a 3rd TD for Bate. Rashod's route running right now is so crisp.
also love bateman’s attitude. has had some challenging injuries and possibly some personal stuff but kept upbeat, practices hard, and shows up ready to play
I always thought they used Bate wrong last year by just asking him to just run by people when he is not that type of WR, he is a route runner.
That was his fault. He didn’t workout with Lamar and the other receivers. His timing was off.

Great job, Cole. Keep grinding, brother!
Appreciate you, man!
I will ALWAYS maintain that Bateman has the talent to be 1,000 yard WR.
