6:03 "Kicked in the face by a dead guy" is metal as hell for an explanation of a black eye though!
Could almost be a heavy metal song
0:56 - 'THEY' caught nothing. 'THEY' wrote the guy off as dead. the grandfather caught it and deserves ALL the praise.
Not a mortician, but when I was getting ready to bury my 13-year-old dog, I heard the last bit of air escaping his body. This was when I turned 16 a few days before this. His name was Bandit, for those wondering.
Sorry for your loss 🐶
@@TheAlienFan Thank you
Oh gosh, that could have been so traumatic, especially if you didn't know that could happen. Im sorry for your loss. Did you get him as a puppy? If so, it's sweet that you two got to grow up together.
@@Genni4862 Thanks! And yeah, I got him when he was 1 and I was 5 or 6.
Womp womp
Getting embalmed only after 30 minutes of death and rigor not setting in yet doesn't seem right.
I thought the same thing
The great fear of not being dead but being embalmed.
Here in Kentucky you have to be in the funeral home for a certain amount of hours. @@eightw5783
Hi, just wanted to add, the word you read first as "descendent" and corrected as "decadent" is actually "decedent"
It is a form of the word "deceased" IE, "the one who is deceased is the decedent".
It's pronounced like "D-see-dent"/"duh-seed-ent" depending on dialect etc.
I was just about to say this; thank you.
I was also going to correct him, but you covered it.
Was coming here to say the same thing, thanks
Beat me to it by eight months. Also thanks.
Thank you!
Aj needs to be fired.
That's just disgusting and disrespectful what she did to that deceased person.
Not to mention that her coworker could have gotten very sick, getting the fluids from a decomposing person who died of a bacterial infection into their face/eyes.
@gentlegiants04 yes exactly.
There is a ton of bacteria that could have put the poster in the hospital.
Guy dies of sepsis so she lets him fulminate for four days then deliberately exposes a colleague to the effluvium from the corpse.
She should have been not only fired but charged with assault, battery, reckless endangerment.
@@gaelsdottir5046 I agree wholeheartedly.
AJ would have lost his job and teeth the following day.
Decedent (the person who is deceased) deh-SEA-dent. Not decadent.
Illiteracy is a plague on TH-cam.
I was going to comment this.
@@johnmcdaniel2536God forbid someone makes a mistake.
OP, thanks for correcting them without insulting them.
Illiteracy is a plague on TH-cam, but autocorrect is a plague all over the Internet.
Not a mortician but have done plumbing in a bunch of hospitals. One hospital in particular had their boiler room right next to the morgue which has the coldest room in the hospital. The boiler room sits at a constant 130 on a cool day. So you can only imagine what happens when the cooler goes out. The metal exterior of the cooler starts rapidly heating up as the two areas constantly right each other for temperature.
What always got me was when a body came in we had to break everything down, clear out, etc. it was always so sad and such an Erie feeling when they brought bodies in. Especially when they were children.
7:20 HONESTLY the zombie apocalypse instinct is strong, good to know people know what to do when they see a walking corpse
AJ should be fired, lose her license and go to prison 2-3 years should be a good prank/joke on her.. Prison for the obvious health hazard she put the kid in, the disgusting way she treated a human corpse, he was someones child, possibly a brother, husband, father, grandfather etc.... She is just a horrible person...
Not a morgue worker. I was a young teen with a group of others cleaning the beaches on an isolated naval base. (GTMO) It was a very windy day. We noticed a small fishing boat haveing a rough time; the boat was being blown sideways, the mast was broken, the four men on it were paddling in the water with their HANDS trying to keep the waves from pushing their boat over the invisible fence between countries. We watched, helpless....as a tank rolled up and fired three rounds into the boat. It was reduced to kindling in a few seconds. The tank rolled away. We were out there alone until a military guy picked us up in the evening.....so, as pieces floated up on the beach, we solumnly cleaned it up. That was, after all, our job. Wood, plastic, cloth. The only time I've ever been grateful it was a shark infested area. We were 14, 15 year olds. We were told by the officer that we should understand that our fathers saw people die in combat all the time, we should tough up and get used to it. Not one of the kids on the beach EVER volunteered.
My little sister worked for a funeral home and they all admit that the place is haunted, but that's not the point of this comment. She often did the hair and makeup for the deceased when the usual dresser wasn't there, and she said it made her jaded because there were more young people and children coming in than older people. A lot of them were toddlers and babies. She ended up losing the job later because it was family operated and since she wasn't a direct family member they often pinned mess ups that their son did on her. She refuses to go back into that line of work because of how depressing it was.
I didn't work in a morgue, per se, but I briefly worked at a local funeral home while I considered pursuing a career in mortuary sciences. Depending on how quickly a corpse is retrieved, it can still retain some residual body heat when it reaches the embalming table; if you begin injecting the embalming fluid right away, which is room-temperature or below, the coolness of the liquid can cause the still-warm muscle fibers to contract, which causes the corpse to make small movements--fingers flexing, limbs twitching, minute facial ticks--stuff like that. It's crazy, and if you don't know what's causing it, it can be extremely disconcerting.
I definitely don't have whatever it takes to work with the dead.
Hell, I barely have what it takes to work with the living
@@AlexRising_ 😂😂😂
I could not continue watching with those backgrounds. Too many movements while I try to focus on the text. OP, please pick something else for the background.
Me too. My brain gets overloaded by this. Too much going on at once.
i totally expected all these to be about bodies making noises and even moving due to muscle contraction lmao
i plan to become a mortician and i reccomend to anyone to make urself aware of all the shit bodies can do
What about being a mortician made you want to become one?
Tik tok and social media really made that job look more appealing to some than it is. I've helped with transport and met a lot of people. They were all perverted old guys. You also don't get paid sh**.
How is it going? 😅
Hospital morgue, 11 year old boy still barely alive. I called a “code blue” in the morgue
😳
That must have been, a chilling experience (not an intentional joke, I promise)
de-SEE-dent! 😂
12:45 Entomologist here: yellow jackets would absolutely not be laying eggs there. What the OP probably saw was adult yellow jackets and FLY larvae (maggots) feeding on the flesh.
The father of a friend died and I attended the wake. The hall where the wake was being held was sandwiched by two unused halls. There were only a few of us in the wake in that particular night. All the others were sleeping but I could not. So, I just laid there on a bench with my head near one of the walls when all of a sudden, I heard knocks from the other side of the wall. Then, another two knocks, then another. It creeped me out and I stood up and moved to the middle of the hall. Then, I laid my back on the bench with the other side of the wall over my head. Then, there were these knockings again. I stood up and walk out of the room. I wanted to know where the knocking was coming from. So I took a peep into the hall on the right and saw nothing there. It was close and dark inside. I did the same to the hall on the right. It was the same. I immediately went back to the wake and just stood up in the middle far from the walls until, maybe 4 am. When my friend woke up, I immediately told him that I needed to go home.
I have had no explanation as to why it happened. What caused that knocks with those rhythmic patterns.
The funeral home was a big structure like a mansion with many hall rooms where funeral rights were held. It's kind of like really creepy.
When I was 14 one of my cats brought in a barely alive pigeon. I ushered the cat away and set up a blanket in a cardboard box with some water. The pigeon died and I decided to bury it. As I was patting the dirt down on top I heard the pigeon make a noise and was horrified because I thought I had just burried a pigeon alive. I dug it back up but it was still dead 😆
The hoarders in Story 15 remind me of the Collyer brothers.
Not sure if this is true or not, but a buddy of mine who served over seas in Iraq said one time one of the bad guys got killed and they where taking pictures or something (he was drunk when he told the story so it wondered a lot) but from what I gathered, the dead guy either groaned or twitched or something that caused one of the greener guys in my buddies unit to piss himself and put three more rounds in corpse. Like I said, IDK if it's true but I believe it.
Oftentimes the truth comes out when drunk!
@@joycebrackbill-henderly8311 Very true.
Very true and correct
I started eating an ice cream sundae at the start of this video. I lost my appetite after the first 2 stories...
My grandfather was a pastor and would sometimes perform funerals. One older woman had died due to a medical condition (I forget what it’s called) that caused the muscles in her body to tense in such a way that even after death they couldn’t get her to lie flat. They had to wire her down to get her to lay in the coffin for viewing and such. Mid-funeral, one of the wires snapped and she sat up.
The plane story was funny but not how you you said after you reed it lol also the burn lady fused with the floor makes me have more respect for firefights
How is this the only comment
@@Peepsaregreat I'm a die hard fan lol

I'm a new sub. I love your sarcasm, I'm older so I'm probably more of a smart ass than you are. lol I am writing a book, paranormal, surrealism, time travel and horror. I have a scene that your description was perfect. It gave me a start point so thank you. Thank you for your hard work. I just read your blurb in the bio. I need to explain myself a bit so you don't think I will plagerize your words. I am empathic and although I can be logical, for the most part, I am empathic, feelings, emotions, etc. My saying you were a starting point means that I listen to your words and "feel" the feeling, emotions, etc that you are trying to portray in the story. From those emotions, I will write my own. And btw, your hard work is paying off. I was feeling like the perspective of the corpse and the person finding them. That is talent.
Story 10 reminded me of a gal I went to college with who played cymbals in the marching band. After a summer of not playing them, the first two weeks of getting back into practice would always leave her arms and chest pretty banged up and bruised. She always toughened up after two weeks and the bruises would disappear. Our senior year she was at a bar during Band Week before school started, and a woman came over and gave her a card with a number for a women’s shelter on it! My friend tried to explain to her that she wasn’t getting harmed by anyone but a pair of Zildjian cymbals, but the lady just said in disbelief, “Uh huh, don’t lose that card.” We didn’t know whether to laugh or what! 😂
Im still eating, watching and listening this...i hav had few gag effects but im getting over it
I enjoyed your story very much but I definitely don’t enjoy the gaming background. It made me dizzy as I’m trying to read your captions. Please don’t use such background if possible. Thank you for your interesting stories.
The universe just had an absolute giggle with that last guy. 😂
My grandad and his sister, a long time ago, were the people in the village who washed and barbered the body. The undertaker usually just collected the body. Anyway, this particular time, a man had died in bed. He was quite big, so so was brought down on a door by some of the other key on in the village. As they were bringing him down, the door got bumped and the corpse say up! Everybody dropped the door and ran for it! My great aunty, who washed and dressed the dead, picked up the body and carried it downstairs in her back. She was a tough old bird!
I've never heard of wasps laying eggs on anything dead. There are parasitic wasps that will lay eggs on other bugs, I've seen this personally with large black, white, and yellow striped caterpillars with two tail spikes that used to show up in a tree in my backyard as a kid, and I've heard of other types of wasp that do the same with other kinds of bugs, but most wasps will scavenge and then return to a nest, where they lay their eggs, and in that case it's only one wasp laying the eggs, at least this is true of hornets and yellow jackets. Wasps will feed on meat though, I've seen yellow jackets and hornets doing this.
That being said, I have my doubts about the story that was in, unless they had mistaken fly eggs for wasp eggs.
6:05 This sounds like the start of a zombie movie
Creepiest, when the RN on duty came down and spent 35 minutes stroking the face of her truly, stated, hated big sis, She daid quiet, just smiling. Humming, .. and smiling.
She signed off that death certificate, maing. La Verdad a la Virgin, she never made a sound. Neither one.
Came to the comments to correct the mispronunciation of decedent- realized others have already done it 😂
If you’re drowning, breathe in water; I’ve heard that kills you pretty fast
I used to work at a general hospital. The morgue was located in the basement of another building. The entrance was at end of a pathway down the side of the building that had a slight slope. Beside the pathway were a couple of houses. A couple of my coworkers were taking a body to the morgue on a winter day, the path was covered with ice. The staff members started slipping on the ice, the body slid off the stretcher into the backyard of one the houses.
I’m currently eating while watching this and story 16 killed my appetite 💀
Same here!
@@fanaticat1 omg, I’m watching one of their newer videos rn haha
@@Lyca_Furs morbid curiosity brought me here, but eeesh! It takes a special type of person to do that work. I couldn't do it!
@@fanaticat1 absolutely. I’m way too sensitive for that 😭 I recently experienced the after death “agonized breath” thing from a cat, and I had to turn around 💀 I can’t handle death. Especially if I had to see a young person :(
@@Lyca_Furs I went through that, too. I had cats my whole life. We had a cat that passed away a half hour before the vet opened and were there when we had our cat Sabrina put down; June 17th was the 5 year anniversary of her passing. (I'm going to cry 😢). Today June 23rd is the 5 year anniversary of our adopting our cat, Shiloh! He's been a part of our family since 2019...a happy ending! 😃
Story 11 is so hilarious it’s a burden and a debt owed to humanity on video 😂
That last one got me XD
Deh-see-dent. Deh-ka-dent is a very very different thing
If you get decadent with a decedent, you got problems...
I was drinking boba tea by the time the brains part of the story came 😭😭
Decedent. Pronounced: dee CEE dent.
A.J Would of got his ass kick for that one lol. I watched an autopsy and it really puts your life in perspective but the story about the lady getting kicked and the pilot was hillarious. I can only imagine and picture the scene lol
"Dee See Dent" Some one who is deceased "Dee Ceased"
I heard “we now have a discord” and my brain thought you were still reading the story 😂
15:00 I heard once that the smell that a brain has is very salty
An easy mistake to make, but as nouns, the difference between decadent and decedent (pronounced as duh-SEE-dent) is that a decadent person is a person affected by moral decay, while the decedent (duh-SEE-dent) is a dead person. 😊
The word isn't decadent either, it's decedent.
It sounded like the morgue had a discord. Took me a sec to figure out it was just your channel. Creepy
The woman melted into the couch.. wondering if that was lacey fletcher
as a rule of thumb if you do not KNOW a word, look it the hell up....
its better to be wrong and re-record with the correct word than to
constantly say it wrong so confidently.....
I am three minutes in and I do not think I will finish this video.
@10:05 we fighting for sure 🤣
“Duh-see-dent”
not decadent! oh my lord. that means over the top. good. like a rich chocolate cake. the word is De-SEE- dent. from the word deceased. meaning dead

8:18 The Woman in the Floor
Don't eat seeing this video, learning from my mistake 😅
The Dead don't harm ..it's the living
15:30 Thank you for not putting a guarantee of survival on wearing a seatbelt....
My family member was in a single vehicle rollover she WAS wearing her seatbelt it failed and she was ejected and killed. The passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected got a bad cut but survived. Another passenger was not in a seat so no seatbelt and was NOT ejected...
There is no doubt that seatbelts save lives, but it is NOT a guarantee of survival
Someone explain Story 4 for me. So, does it mean she survived or what?
It's actually pronounced (de-see-dent)s. Root deceased (de-seest).
My daughter is studying to be a mortician
Story 3 😮
It’s probably already been said a hundred times, but it’s not decadent, it’s decedent (pronounced duh-see-dnt). 😉
2:05 So...... she's dead???
I just want you to know that it is not pronounced decadent like a decadent swath of chocolate. It is pronounced duh sea dent. Decedent. Like deceased
0:59 4:04 4:43 5:41 6:03 16:18
THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE HUMOUROUS❗️
This is great but the word is de-see-dent. It looks like decadent like “That cake looks decadent”. It’s not descendent either. You are so cute.
De-see-dent.
It’s DECEDENT not decadent.
Sorry I just HAD to turn off the video after like 5 stories because this is hella nightmare inducing
Story Fourteen: You meant neither decadent, nor descendant. The correct word is: DECEDENT. 😉
Why do u game?
I wish you would have some respect for the dead. Shame on you
Grow up. This is life. Face it. BOO!
I have necrophobia and avoid open casket funerals whenever possible.
This is educational at least to know all the things bodies can do.
Something must have happened in my childhood to cause this. I dont remember what it was though.
Nasty. .. lol I liked it!!
Just to clear up ; you keep pronouncing "decadent", when it's pronounced "d seed ant". (dead person). You're welcome 👍🇨🇦😉
