To be quite honest, I wasn’t very interested in seeing a movie that uses performance capture just because it makes the characters look creepy and dead in the eyes BUT after viewing the clip that Steve shared I have changed my mind. I can see that the character is experiencing post traumatic stress and he uses his dolls as a way to cope with the fear that was created from when he was attacked! I believe I will watch this movie just to support the industry and what it will be doing for mental health awareness. I look forward to watching it this Christmas season :) thank you.
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that he's all grey and look totally different from when he was on The Office...but his voice hasn't changed one bit?
Carell hit the nail on the head about Donald Rumsfeld. He was, in fact, charming and had a good sense of humor. Steve Carell is a very humane and thinking actor and it's evident in his work.
I'm only at 1:43, so the clip just ended....but that was the single best clip of a movie that I have ever seen!!!!! From the original trailer, I thought this movie would be another "Dinner for Shmucks" type scenario. Creating a little doll world instead of a little dead rat world. I didn't realize PTSD would be so appropriately represented in this one. Kudos Steve! PS. Do more work with Steven
I am interested in seeing this film.... also interesting .... i .... I do the same thing... where shit like that plays out in my head and I detach from what happening around me.... I think I should seek help...
The tittle should be "Steve Carell On Becoming a pathetic human being that killed millions and took Trillions of dollars and then said it was just a mistake"
@@maryrosekent8223 there were over 300 mass shootings in the US this year, with over 1000 killed. So, I find it tone-deaf to include such a violent shooting scene where it looks like innocent people are being murdered. I can't imagine if I had a loved one recently killed by gun violence, and I see this on a light-hearted comedy show.
It was about coping with ptsd . If you didn't pick that up. That's a good representation of how someone in that situation may psychologically react and feel.
@@tamarathompson9418 I agree, and I think that proves my point that they shouldn't have played this specific clip. Imagine if someone with PTSD were watching the Late Show (a comedy show where you don't expect violence) and this surprised them. PTSD and shootings are very real, so we have to be respectful of those who could be triggered by a scene like this.
Can Steve still not get any good dramatic roles after all the shit he’s done? That movie sounds completely terrible and he did not sell it well, like “oh, the camera pans down the hallway and the whole time nothing had changed it was all in his head” are you kidding me with the obvious cliches? I’m not a total The Office shill, but he should reboot it or start another comedy project before it’s too late.
I’m i the only one who watch the entire interview with a huge smile? I just love them together 💕
no
You're not :-). I was still smiling even after the interview was over. They have such a great chemistry together.
No some people have stuck mouth disease and so we too are watching the whole things with a huge smile thank you
Nope!! Me too!! 😂😂😂
Stephen: Steve it's fantastic to see you
Steve: yeah, whatever
Me: 😂😂👌🏻👌🏻
Oh you watched the video too?
@@ilhamhatami2477 wait you didn't watch the video?
Steve and steph movie together please
Even Stevphen: The Movie
Take my money!
And my life savings!
God I hope I age as well as Steve Carell.
Papa Jefe Don’t we all.
I need that chest hair.
i know, it looks like season 1 of the office was shot 10 years in the future o.O
Cliff: That because Steve had an hair transplant after that season.

Great comment!
I love them both to pieces 😍😍😍😍
Let me remind everyone that Robert Zemeckis was the director of beloved Back to the Future series and the movie Forrest Gump among others.
Forrest Gump is forever a favorite!
Any time these two are together, we need to hear "Yes!", "No!!", "YEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!"
Oh absolutely, I got an immediate urge to go rewatch some good ol' Even Stevphen.
I just watched the VICE. Steve did well.
0:06 At first I heard "Welcome to Morrowind" and got really excited!
Unfortunately, I don't think that clip they showed was of Dagoth Ur.
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that he's all grey and look totally different from when he was on The Office...but his voice hasn't changed one bit?
roastbeafman87 why would his voice change
Its called getting older, lol that's all
Even Stevphens!
That's exactly how my last traffic court visit went.
New Message I appreciate every single one of your comments, man. You’re funny as hell.

Sociopaths can be very charming indeed
How is that even possible?! He gets better every time I see him
we have jon stewart to thank for these two funny guys. all hail jon stewart.
"Vice" gonna get at least 5 Oscar nominations 😏
FULL INTERVIEW PLZ
Loving these 2 together! And thought Steve's chest hair was only part of the movie, 40 year old virgin.
Uploader : Title does not match the content.
yerh they mixed up the two vids
Viewer: Deal with it...
@@suchanhachan hehehe 😋
Oh okay I was googling to try to figure out how the two were related. Thx
That interaction just seemed to hit a brick wall at the end there.
*YEAH WHATEVER!*
♥
these two should totally get a room and shoot a movie for all of us to enjoy lol
Everytime i see steve i just see michael scott
one of the greats

Steve and Stephen 2020
Te amo steve
Yikes about that Rumsfeld revelation.
Why?
❤️welcome to marwen❤️🔥
Steve and Steven were friends before either of them became famous. They got big together
That film clip was so much better than the awful clip they showed on The Graham Norton Show.
I never would’ve thought Steve Carrell would turn into a serious actor.
GRU for POTUS 2020!
I thought they already tried this with Secret life of Walter Mitty.
Steve Carrell made me admire Rumsfeld
WHERE ARE THE TURTLLLLLLLLLLES!?
WHERE ARE THEY?!!
WHERE ARE THEY GODDAMNIT!?
I’ve seen that episode of The Office
if anybody tells me where i can find his glasses i'll be forever thankful
Dunder Mifflin this is Scott. Michael Scott 😂😂
If we bring up The Office enough it could happen.....
You male good movie 😀
I miss "Even Stevphen"!
Todd Packer was here
Prison Mike aged gracefully
Ha, he didn’t manage such a great explanation of the film on Graham Norton. Looks like a good watch mind.
I used to think Stephen and Steve were the same person for some reason.
I am interested in seeing this film.... also interesting .... i .... I do the same thing... where shit like that plays out in my head and I detach from what happening around me.... I think I should seek help...
PapaGnerd You sounds pretty healthy.
Didnt recognize steve
Gru!!!
Bears eat beats, beats, battle star galactica
I did this all for the Queen, I knew one day they would release me from the plantations of the church
Misleading title, to be honest
But the Fabio bit is not in this video?
yerh they mixed up the two vids
He doesn't seems to be delighted to be there.
but Fabio gets hit in the face by a goose while riding a roller-coaster
mmmmm Fabio
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT TITLE
Elias B. Wishful thinking.
No mention of the original documentary, eh, Steve? Is it common knowledge now?
He just said it? O.o
Is it me or was that a huge spoiler, and he proceeded to spoil s'more
Na I've seen the ad for this. Not a huge spoiler.
The tittle should be "Steve Carell On Becoming a pathetic human being that killed millions and took Trillions of dollars and then said it was just a mistake"
This film might be worth the misery that is going to the theatre.
Anyone else think that including a clip of a shooting was a little insensitive?
harrymeepharry
I didn’t. What prompts you think in that direction?

Wow. Welcome to Marwen really looks BAD.
The audience reaction to the scene..... should we laugh? Chuckle?......just clap.
Steve Carell became famous thanks to Ricky Gervais.
Samuel Clemens No, he became famous due to The 40 Year Old Virgin.
Yea , na .
This is quite possibly the stupidest film I've ever seen.

Steve did a great job. RIP Rummy.
