Despite being low production, this movie turned out to be pretty good with its story and characters. Just because animation isn't that great doesn't mean it's bad
That's exactly how I remembered the movie before I rewatched it for this video. I thought it was bad because I remembered the animation not being great but now it's one of my all time favorites
@comradeghost378 also its impressive that despite costing around 8 million dollars, this movie was able to gross 110 million dollars at the box office

Like how VeggieTales has very blury skin textures in the 90s until the quality became has evolved in the 2000s
People bang on the graphics but this is actually a really fucking good movie. The characters, humor, and plot are great. Also the concept is unique and creative as hell? Red riding hood but the forest is kinda ghetto and the story is a crime interrogation session told from different PoVs? Comedic gold 😂

To be fair for 2006 this at the time wasn't necessarily bad animation
I somewhat agree, the movie doesn't look completely terrible but it definitely could've been better with a higher budget and more experienced team. At the same time I don't think this movie would've had the same charm without the low budget animation
