    Nice bit of old school setting out with the timber profiles Tony 😉👌🏼. No engineers needed just a bit of old school . I know I don’t look it but I’m old enough to have done it this way 😏🤣.
    Great video chaps 🧱👍🏼

    Hi, nice job, good practice to have a silt trap ( Catch pit) just before the actual soak away. Bang on with your work, nice one.

    Noticed a comment about the video length and how it would be nice if they were longer. I think you guys should make a poll on what people prefer the video lengths to be. Skill builder did one yesterday about video lengths, it would give you a good insight

    Nicely done drain, but you must close the membrane over the stone, or lay another strip across the top. The membrane's function is to keep out fine silt, maintaining the efficiency of the drainage, so closing the top is paramount.

      Brill video as always lads, but surely won't the water just soak through the pea gravel to the bottom of the trench and not in the pipe?

    Great video as always , very helpfull , any chance you might be able to point me in the direction of a supplier for the perforated blue pipe you used ...

    Hi guys, hope your all well looks like this project will be great viewing as you progress, just wanted to ask what is th manufacterers name of the pipe called you used in the drain. Also are those lines coming off at an angle from the building as i understood from the drawings the new extension comes off about 30 degrees?

    Please tell people who live in areas where there are a lot of foxes not to leave their string lines out overnight. Done it in my garden and the next day it was all gone. Chewed it to pieces.

    That is a BAD French drain. You put 300-400mm of round stone under the 4 inch pipe ( that's good) with no run out for when the water goes under the pipe. You will have 300-400mm of water sitting there as you was into clay. Bad bad job on this one boys.

    • @jimmys8483
      @jimmys8483 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why does it matter if there is water sitting under the pipe? It’s not on the surface?
