Dang man this was beautiful, what a great video! I’m still bummed I couldn’t get up there because of the fires this year, poor Jasper. I’ll be tapping into your videos as a guide on where to go 👊
Kicking Horse Resort has a top of the mountain restaurant that has a jaw dropping view too. There are so many great spots around BC. Dont even get started about Vancouver Island...
Do you use any heated gear? Or just leathered up? Debating on chaps or heated pants of some kind. I try to ride in 40 degrees or more. Thinking chaps could be enough.
@@richie9214 The history of that area is so cool. I dip into that a little bit in future videos. The people that explored and settled that area were made of a different kind of human. Episode 4 drops today!
The views are so amazing, I wasn’t sold on going up the gondola before we got there but that would have been missing out if we skipped it while we were there. We just need to talk Canada into raising the speed limits before we go back.
@@HD-touring It’s definitely a touristy stop, but 100% worth it. I was glad we got up early and ate breakfast up there. Perfect way to start the day. You start the speed petition, I’ll sign it 🤣. Before people get crabby, we can keep the speeds down in the National Parks, it makes sense with the wildlife. Sadly a grizzly bear and its cubs were killed by vehicles when we were up there, but that grizzly in particular was known to live and graze on the highway. They couldn’t get her to go anywhere else. She scaled all the fences they put up. 😞
Some of the most beautiful scenery that I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for the ideas future runs.
@@JeremyMcLaughlin-q5j Thanks for watching! You should definitely go!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing as this is on my bucket list for sure. Beautiful!

BTW, I am not sure why the pronunciation of “Gondola” got stuck in my brain as “GondOOOla”. But it is what it is, I’ve made adjustments 😂😂😂
Beautiful thanks for the video.

The video is absolutely stunning Matt! It’s a little hard to understand the audio, but really enjoyed it👊
Thank you! I'm still working on my audio set up. Haven't quite nailed it yet. Sound levels are the hardest part of this!!
@@FullTankAdventures Yup!….I’m right there with you working on that myself👍
F’ing wicked! Can’t wait to see it with my own eyes!

@@Lynch84 Not heated gear, just layers and leather. The heated grips were a lifesaver!
That famous Fairmount Hotel used to be called the Banff Springs Hotel which was owned and operated by Canadian Pacific Hotels, subsidiary of CPR.
