The Mag II and Ol' Monster worms have a flat side. I initinally put the hook thru the worm's nose and bring it out the flat side. Then I bring the worm up to the hook bend and finish the rig like everybody does. If it's a straight tail worm (Zoom Swamp Crawler) I agree you definitely need to hook thru the plastic's seam
What size of hook
what does adding the bead do? good video thank you
It gives the weight something to slap against to make some extra noise to entice a fish to smash it
to the feller down low...a bead adds a chatter or click like a crawfish....nice addition like Carolina rig.
When are the 12" Ol monsters gonna hit stores?
what kind of knot was that? sorry for a nooby question
I bought a pack these the other day , the black and dark purple /blue looking ones has anyone had luck on them ?
what size is that hook your riggin it on?

it makes a clicking sound when the weight hits the bead (attracts fish)
3/0 or 4/0 for the Mag II worm; 5/0 or 6/0 for the 10.5" Ol' Monster; and 6/0 or 7/0 for the 12" Ol' Monster. What great worms!
I enjoy your work on MLF.
