Thanks for sharing this. I'm currently doing a civil engineering degree but unfortunately it wasn't something I wanted to do until I discovered this concept of coding while continuing with my degree. Ever since I knew about it I've been hooked to it such that I use whatever free time I have to write code or learn some coding concepts. I must say software eng/dev is really great but unfortunately it's not easy, lol, especially since I have no guidance I'm just a self taught. Lately I've been thinking about joining an online bootcamp but unfortunately I wouldnt get enough time to do so, and worst of all is that I didn't even know how it's like on a bootcamp, like generally the environment itself and how much time typically one spends onit but thank you so much for sharing your experience.
Hey Ayapha 🙈 I’ve only watched this now. In your experience is there a difference between a degree holder and the you boot camp guys in terms of payment?
The CodeX programs run from February to November so potentially, yes. 😂😂😂 The financial part depends on the amount of work you put in and the skills you acquire in the process, overall it can be VERY rewarding 😉
Hi Nunu, yes you can. You just need to ensure that you learn a skill(coding in any language), get certified and then prepare for job interview assessments
I left a link to the Project CodeX official website in the description
Thanks man.

What advice can you give someone who is about to through the bootcamp??
Hi Dikgang, I hope I’m not too late. The only advice I can give is that you need to be ready to learn and apply your mind fully.
So, it takes potentially less than a year to complete? And how financially rewarding is it?😅

Hello Ayapha, my question is it possible to get a web/software development job without a cs degree
Hi Nunu, yes you can. You just need to ensure that you learn a skill(coding in any language), get certified and then prepare for job interview assessments
What is it free? 🙈
Hi Aya. How long did it take you to complete the freecodecamp activities?
Hi Life, I took about a month to complete the tasks. I was working at the time so that meant I had to do the tasks after work and on weekends
