do you agree with what he said in the video? he said if I'm not a doctor or nurse or paramedic that id be eaten alive and challenged by ones with that level of knowledge.
Hi! Andrew always speaks from a 'real' place, but of course there are always exceptions. We have seen some instructors excel in teaching advanced courses without a ton of field experience. However, these individuals are a combination of very smart but also humble. Many instructors want to be the smartest person in the room, however, for these classes you just need to be competent in the skills you are instructing and know what is outside your scope of practice.
You encourage me. I have a passion for the field and am a Paramedic. I’m going to affiliate with you guys for sure. I am doing my first class Friday on BLS and want to teach ACLS and PALS as well. Thanks for your videos. Just got my business license Preston manikins and looking to get a website. They will get eaten alive for sure lol!
This was very informative thank you. I think it’s an excellent source of supplemental income for healthcare workers already working 2-3 shifts per week.
Registered nurse - ACLS and BLS instructor, looking to add PALS, totally agree, I can’t see a non health care provider teaching acls, BLS or pals. I try to stay in my lane and teach similar discipline. If I have an intensivest or ER MD ask to join, I actually recommend the ACLS exp provider course.
Okay but like how much do you make off a person per class let’s say you charge $70 a person do you keep all $70?? Do you have to pay a fee or keep half that’s what I can’t find anywhere
I'm a paramedic and my full time job is teaching ACLS, BLS, PALS and other "LS" courses, I do what I love and it's very profitable.
