Then you better start praying for the salvation of your fellow man. It's not about "mercy for me, justice for thee", everyone was made in the image and likeness of God, and we need to pray and fast for those who are dangling close to hell.

I'm always troubled when my fellow catholic brothers and sisters seem to 'cheer' the notion of hell for sinners.
We should desire for all to be reunited in heaven with God. And while we know that might not be possible, we will continue to spread the gospel and pray for those who need saving from their sins.

This is something none of us want to hear. We don’t want to believe it because of the sacrifice it requires. Even after knowing this truth for awhile I try to put it out of my mind because it’s so hard to accept and goes against current culture. But I need and we need to be reminded often. I needed this message today.

12:00 The precise word to use for the turning away from God, which is sin, is heartbreak; God suffers what can only be described as heartbreak to see us sin. To Him, He experiences the loss of one of His closest loved ones in even the smallest sin. He is Holy and Love in such fullness.

There are many people in my parish who work hard, raise good children, do good, patiently suffer the problems of life, go to confession and Communion. No don’t let yourself come to that conclusion. Don’t let the devil make you overthink yourself into paralysis. Go to church next Sunday, say a prayer before bed, go to confession, continue doing this consistently and he will begin to reveal himself to you. I would have never seen 2 years ago me saying this to someone, because of how ridiculous it seemed to me. All I can say is please trust me, we were made from love and made to love. And God has been waiting all your life to find him and love him, and he’s surgically sculpting your every action so that you will meet him if you keep faith. Love from Canada brother ❤️

It’s always hard to hear this, to think of all the souls. To think of times when I was far from God and but for his grace there too would I be condemned. But alas, we are to strive and work out our salvation in fear of trembling. Though these are often teachings I readily divert myself from after receiving it is a blessing to have a very real fear of Gods judgment. A comfort even. And it is also an encouragement to know that he is working on my behalf and providing all I need. God bless this channel and I pray these teachings reach many many more.

Yes, we have to talk much more about hell as the reality, because so many people live in spiritual blindness, even denying important statements about hell from the Bible. Many people live life as a kind of fiction, even get angry when hell is mentioned. I think that a big problem in the western world is that most people do not believe in afterlife. Similar statement I've heard recently, from an African bishop saying that Africans do believe in afterlife, but westerners not so much. There are many swallowed poisons of this kind, ending od -isms, that helped in people becoming spiritually blind and weak. Lord Jesus say hell exists, therefore, who can question Lord's words? Again blindness even with respect to the Bible...

St Faustina said, regarding her visit to Hell, that the majority of people who are there, were those who did not believe in the existence of Hell. (Diary 741)
There is an excellent and visually stunning video titled: 'St. Faustina's Visions of the Afterlife' on a TH-cam channel, posted 7 years ago.
It describes her visit to Heaven and to Hell, and her vision of The Two Roads.

God is not the one torturing them. A sinner burns in Hell because they rejected God. God is everywhere and in all things, and so a sinner who rejects the very fabric of reality verges on annihilation. They have basically rejected their own existence.
Let go of what you think God should be. That is presumptive on something you can’t understand as a mortal human. Instead focus on what God wants you to be: compassionate, charitable, loving, forgiving, merciful, and patient. Do not think for a second that you would somehow be exempt from these things because you have not seen Him do it. You know that if you choose not to do those things, it is because you are being selfish.
