You still get a bunch of magical weapons in Act 2 that have special characteristics but no +enchantment.
you get it in the beginning of act 3 from the same guy he steals it from. if you make a deal with the devil to get an item kithrak gives you the sword as a gift.
there is also baldur's giant slayer, its comparable to this but for no gith toons, it makes you a giant and gives you buffs. both swords are attained in the same area.
I got this weapon very late in the game, by obtening the hammer used to free the gith prince by killing Raphael (this figth is awesome, by the way) and show it to the Kitrak Voss . Pretty late in act 3, tho, this clever ruse is awesome. Pretty sure you can get this also from the creche.
Not the same one you get in the Creche. I believe that one is a very rare, not a legendary.
@@BonSarciss nope just rare, drops off the inquisitor
@@BonSarciss ah I see. Thanks.
I think its not worth doing on first playtrough.. Not sure but i think doing this acutally will effect couple quests later on.
as far as know it doesn't affect anything, but I'm not done with the game so not sure, so far it hasn't broken anything
@@FlavioC1988 Depend on your choices you recive the sword as reward in Act 3 and some people said if you doo this the cutsceene will not trigger for the quest chain and you cant finish it.
@@lustinlis413 So don't choose to receive the sword? ;)
Can you show me links where people said this?
Wtf, this is definitely not starting your run out. This is skipping through quite a bit, with significant pre-requisities that cause issues throughout act 1 if not handled 100% to a tee.
Why clickbait?
The only prerequisite is to be able to cast Command (Drop), which you can get from using Shadowheart. You're not skipping through much, the NPC quest still works up until the end of the quest which gets borked since you already have the final quest reward as a weapon.
If there have been any issues in your playthrough from obtain this weapon early, let me know! I haven't run into any complications but it would be good to know and share
well, I like those exploits, fun to reveal all possibilities game offers, but to me this is cheating, so I don't prefer to do it, you are not supposed to have extremely powerful +3 weapon from the start :P
Grove not groove.
Can get sword, can't pronounce grove.
For me he dropped a crossbow... wut
btw its been patched now
i just got it so idk
@fave525 just tried to do it today, and the guy had a crossbow equipped instead of the legendary
@andrewwollschlager1956 that's odd cause I actually got mine yesterday but the issue is now everything I start a fight it'll show the knights moving but no enemy for them to fight during turns which is kinda annoying
I have this same problem currently. Attempted to fight them (I'm lev 4) with the help of the Ogres and we all got mopped (tactician). Waiting for another level and trying again...@@tyleryouta5676
Exact method worked for me today. Maybe easy mode equips a crossbow?
You can't get this anymore. Voss didn't drop Astral Sword of the yadda yadda, he only dropped a Githyanki Greatsword.
hey, thats not true. got it 30 mins ago.
I also got the Cook sword from Voss on my 2nd olaythrough
That shit is patched... GG
