Very nice video! One small idea as it relates to the first part - with England as your PU you actually can still get the French cores before being able to integrate them, if you release a vassal that has cores on their territory - eg. Gascony for the southwestern bits, Normandy for the north, and maybe a different one for Calais. Then use favour interactions to ask for the cores to be returned to the vassal. It's really useful for the new Angevin mission where France cannot have above a certain number of territories, for example.

Release a vassal with its capital in the france region and then you can grant french strong duchies again!

Yep, took me a while to figure this out - you’re correct.

Yeah, but if you have to release a vassal in your home region to get an extra diplo slot, then you're not actually getting an extra slot

This Nevers is effective a victory England isn't it? Sure it was France as the leading figure but a Dynasty from England now have unite both kingdom and apparently much of Europe haha

Can’t speak for Nevers into france, but even in current patch if you don’t have any vassals in France as France you lose French Strong Duchies. Though France can take non-french Strong Duchies at least

I was expanding into England via Wales and an Irish minor and the classic no-CB into Novgorod as France for Big Blue Blob and suddenly French strong duchies cancelled when I integrated my last french boi. Like, Paradox, you've already locked me at Kingdom rank, why you gotta steal a diplo relation from me?
