I’m going to say the show didn’t proof that love is blind for several reasons notability the relationship between Mark and Jessica and Kenny and Kelly. I thought they were trying to show how building a connection with someone will surpass what they looked like in person soooooooo idk. But some may argue that they maybe didn’t make a “true” connection in the pods before they met in person? Who knows. Carlton was just acting. He wasn’t and still isn’t true to who he really is.
I just really think love isn't blind. Attraction matters otherwise it's just a friendship (not to say that friendships aren't great too). And while looks aren't the most important thing when it comes to attraction, they are still important. Physical appearance, the way people carry themselves, smell, personality... there are so many aspects that determine attraction and both looks and personality are just not enough by themselves (even both together might not be enough - I personally could not be attracted to Cameron just because of the way he carries himself even though he is good-looking and seems like a nice guy). Also notice how they only cast decent looking people. If you wanna prove that love is blind, put some uggos in there.
When I think of love is blind it's a metaphor meaning when you're in "love" you don't see the red flags and you make excuses for the bad behavior because you're in "love". Usually people who become blind by love date and marry in a small time span which is the shows premise. Like how Mark believes he "loved" Jessica and ignored so many red flags. It sounds like a lot of people took it the literal way since they couldn't see each other at first and they supposedly fell in "love" before seeing each other.

The host (the Lacheys) and the contestants talked about being judged physically first on dating apps so although I see your point, the pods in this show was meant to remove the physical component of dating. Which is why when Cameron and Lauren matched, Lauren focus was on the their interracial marriage. Mark refused to see the red flags because he was really attracted to Jessica so on that end I get what your saying about not noticing red flags. However, Jessica proved love isn’t blind because she want NOT attracted to Mark.

I know, he’s a smooth liar and then of course she’s not gonna drag him in public (but she should have) so he looks like the innocent one. This is a lesson for people. When you make “plans” with someone make sure there is no way they can get away with it if they break their end of the deal. For example, They could have walked down the aisle and said “we still want to be together but we are not ready for the step of marriage” and people would have understood. Instead it looked like she was the one who “wasn’t ready” and took hate from everyone while he got Scott free and shortly after frolicked around with another woman. You shouldn’t blindly trust in men especially some dude you’ve only been with for a few months.
