I think Mark is being highly manipulative. He should take a hint (of the million signals she gave) and just let her reciprocate naturally. All through the series, he’s convincing her emotionally. And him telling Jessica in bed that Gigi was a close second, then convincing her that SHE took it the wrong way, then when she said the same about Barnett, he playing the victim - that all reeked of gaslighting.
I honestly don’t see the Gigi close second convo as something where he was being malicious. I think he genuinely met that as a way to say that Jessica is #1. He is def manipulating her and others around him to come off as a good guy
