Duinhir Aeglos no it’s changed. Back then he was trying to play it up and it came of as a little unnatural and fake, but now he’s be very genuine and real and acting like the wonderful person he is.

I gotta say, Cry's actually pretty darn impressive with this game. I watched a couple other TH-camrs play (two of them being Jacksepticeye and Pewdiepie) and they messed up a lot with the battle system and puzzles but Cry actually pays attention and makes an effort to understand the dynamics and mechanics of the game.
You should give yourself more credit Cry, you're not dumb at all.
Also Cry doesn't give characters cringy voices but that's just more of a personal/subjective preference.
Cry seems to try to focus on the game instead of trying to give funny commentary or jokes. At least that's what I notice from the amount of energy he uses.

I've always loved watching Cry's playthroughts over anyone else cus he doesnt talk over important scenes and that makes it more immersive for both him and us!

Wild Portrait Artist Kris just doesn’t have as many interests. He doesn’t seem to be a particularly depressed kid because later on you learn that he’s actually more of a troublemaker and mischievous.

I entered high school with cry's playthrough of Undertale and I am going to finish my high school with cry's playthrough of Deltarune. This is the best thing I could ever ask for.
I'm pretty sure I started my freshman year in high school with Cry's Undertale and now i'm a freshman in college with Cry's Deltarune

Cry thinks hes only noteworthy for his voice? It's only a bonus, I really like how he doesn't overreact/screech and actually provides decent (sometimes insightful) commentary. He's also not cringy, and doesn't do some stupid unesscessary shit for a 'funny' skit like Game Grumps that takes away from the game. Cry's the only reason I downloaded twitch
Cry is very genuine and I love that about him. When he's tired he shows that he's tired, when he's sad he shows that he's sad, when he finds something funny he will explode in uncontrollable adorable laughter

Considering the only major cut I noticed was when you were picking your name, and somehow we are missing 20 minutes of footage, I can only deduce that you spent 20 minutes coming up with the name “SANDPAPE” 🤔
I would have watched him trying to come up with a name for 20 mins, Cry makes the most mundane things fun, he’s like anime XD

I wonder what he named his vessel. Despite being ‘discarded’, everything that was picked for the vessel is still stored in the save file itself.

Another reason I especially like Cry's playthrough is because he proves that if you actually pay attention to the game the mechanics aren't easy to figure out. He even says so himself, how Ralsei is there to make sure you know how to do things. I've seen so many youtubers who never realize how they're supposed to play this game until they finish it (which is okay, it happens) but people on the comments always how the mechanics are hard to understand. Cry, who takes a minute more to pay attention to the dialogue, got it first time. It's strangely satisfying.

This game is full of anagrams. "Undertale" and "Deltarune" are anagrams of "Unrelated". Kris is Frisk without the F. Susie is an anagram of "issue" because she's always causing them. Ralsei is an anagram of Asriel, and "Asriel Dreemurr" is an anagram of "Serial Murderer". If I missed more anagrams in the game, I wouldn't even be shocked.
Funnily enough, there's no anagram that uses all the letters of SANDPAPE but the word "snapped" and "appends" are in it with an extra A left behind. This doesn't mean anything but I thought it would be funny to check, since Cry likes anagrams too.

cry's playthrough of undertale was my first time experiencing the game. his voice has always been really soothing, and with a game like undertale, it was really an experience i've been hard-pressed to replicate with anything else. feels really nostalgic to watch him play deltarune.

Okay so i thought it was kinda funny and a lil sad when cry said “the only thing im good for i guess” for voice and I checked the comments to see if other people noticed. Obviously they did. And everyone’s saying how nice cry is and yes; he is super compassionate in his playthroughs... he’s also really funny and has great reactions xD. Just like little bits of goodness everywhere. “Free healthcare” when he got a save point had me rolling xD
Anyway, Cry, clearly we all care about you so much and it’s prob a little awkward that we’re all freaking out about a self-deprecating joke. I guess we just want you to know we think you’re awesome. It is really nice to see all they loving comments. Even if people believe it is "too big of a reaction" you never know how he is feeling and I'm sure all the nice comments will brighten his day. Personally, I never assume what someone is feeling, if they say jokes like that of course I'd send love because I care. I'm like that with my friends too and it turns out they do feel that way because of hidden insecurities about themselves. Which is why I think the comments are amazing and i know he will feel the love lol

Vienna Savage i would argue that these compliments all come from a place of concern, definitely not pity. There is no pity involved in this. Pity’s like when you go, “aw man that sucks for you”... not even close to this situation. The debate comes in with how much of Cry’s statement was a joke, and how much he really felt. They might be an overreaction, or just unnecessary but all these positive responses are just an attempt by his fans to reaffirm his sense of self worth.

I’ve avoided all videos, all art, all fandom information specifically for this. Specifically for Cry. If Cry wasn’t gonna play this I just wouldn’t of experienced it, period.
Because with Cry, he gets so emotionally invested in the characters and shows decent respect for the games he plays and the stories. He gets so invested, It’s the same thing for the walking dead, I only watch heavy story games if Crys the one who puts them out. His emotions don’t feel forced, and it actually feels like we’re enjoying the story and game and even the characters. I watch a lot of other youtubers, but Cry will always be my 1# story teller.

I rewatch these playthroughs all the time. It helps me cope and get through life. You aren't just a voice but hearing you say "Hey guys" makes it worth it. See, something I love about Cry is that he puts in so much effort to his videos. Nice musical outro's, funny cuts. He'll go back to catch the things he missed, and then find creative ways to show he caught them. It's a wild amount of effort, and I appreciate it so much!

Man, I absolutely loved and was floored by Undertale, wasn’t quite as into Deltarune, but still came to watch Cry play the whole two and a half hours because it’s Cry, and I can’t say no to anything Cry puts out. Time to go back and revisit Cry’s playthrough for the original Undertale series too. Love you, man.
I really love how you experimented with the combat mechanisms, it's a bit more intricate than undertale but quite fun. Can't wait for the next episode, this is probably my favourite playthrough for just seeing as much of the game as possible, your dry humor and not over-the-top reactions are the perfect balance.
