    Thank you!!! I just started making gluten-free fig bars, and I've had some people interested in having them shipped out of state. Now I can accomodate their requests! :-)

    What is your advice on how to package breads so they stay fresh? I've heard vacuum bags, but, when I contacted someone who does food packaging using vacuuming, he said it wouldn't work as well with breads because of them sucking the air out of the bread.

    I know this video is really old and you said this coukd work with a lot of baked goods, but do you think this can work for something like a cheese tart? I just dont want the filling to spoil before the bread does

    Really grateful that you bothered to put this information out there. I just got my first order for an artisan loaf of sourdough and I had no idea that a Regional A box even existed. Do you buy them in bulk beforehand or do you ask for them at USPS?

    • @MarketingFoodOnline
      @MarketingFoodOnline  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So glad that you were able to use the video and have some success yes all the USPS boxes can be ordered online create an account and it will be delivered to your bakery or House or wherever you are making your product and they get delivered for free there is no charge.

    Thank you so much for this video. I make keto desserts and many customers have asked if I can ship. I have no clue how to. Also, I ordered a dessert from another company just to get an Idea and noticed they used dry ice to keep it fresh. Do you have a video on that? TIA😊

    What would you recommend for wrapping sourdough bread for shipping? Some say wrap in foil and then put in a plastic bag. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    • @MarketingFoodOnline
      @MarketingFoodOnline  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shipping breads would be best in a plastic breathable bag. The type they have at bakeries with small holes for the bread to breath, if it is to hot wrapping in foil will allow the humidity from thebbread to create water and the bred will be mooshy upon delivery. If you local delivery I would do the same foil will be a bad type of packaging for fresh breads.

    Great video! I bake (homemade) bread but they don't last as much as the commercial breads (I don't use preservative) usually at day 3 you can feel a change in its texture. Although still edible, not the freshness I would want. My bread orders are 1lb = 2 loaves (think 12-14 inch loaf rolls). Is there a faster way to ship my orders faster, not having them to reach their destination when they are soon losing freshness? Or would you recommend using preservatives? If so, any preservatives that you would recommend? - Thanks in advance and thanks again for this great video. You got a new subscriber :) - Clau

      you can try using a natural preservatives and freezing your bread. Just include thawing instructions and baked date and expiration date

    About how many cold packs would you use for a cake?

    • @MarketingFoodOnline
      @MarketingFoodOnline  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      HEY CARLA !!! this will depend on the size of the ice packs and the cake....I like using 2-3 smaller ice pacsk put them AROUND the cake instead of a large heavy one you want the coolness to surround the cake !
