Thank you so much for this information , I've been really struggling with how to ship my products and keeping them fresh . This video really helped me a lot.
Thank you so much for this. I make tribal cookies& Cake pops locally and wasn't sure how to go "bigger" im going to start "practice" shipping to my cousins on the rez in SD. Thanks!!
Hey Cherpy thanks for watching! Yes that is how I started I did not know how to ship an item so I actually ordered from a company and learned how they did it!
Thank you!!! I just started making gluten-free fig bars, and I've had some people interested in having them shipped out of state. Now I can accomodate their requests! :-)
What is your advice on how to package breads so they stay fresh? I've heard vacuum bags, but, when I contacted someone who does food packaging using vacuuming, he said it wouldn't work as well with breads because of them sucking the air out of the bread.
I know this video is really old and you said this coukd work with a lot of baked goods, but do you think this can work for something like a cheese tart? I just dont want the filling to spoil before the bread does
Really grateful that you bothered to put this information out there. I just got my first order for an artisan loaf of sourdough and I had no idea that a Regional A box even existed. Do you buy them in bulk beforehand or do you ask for them at USPS?
So glad that you were able to use the video and have some success yes all the USPS boxes can be ordered online create an account and it will be delivered to your bakery or House or wherever you are making your product and they get delivered for free there is no charge.
@@VerifiedFiveIron yes exactly My 6 ecommerce food business run this way for 12 years now I never pay for a single shipping box! They have roughly 30 plus different boxes envelopes etc ALL FREE. make an account usps. Com and click on shipping supplies everything comes in bundles and free delivery to your door. I actually use their site to create the shipping labels as well. I will d another video to explain my process to make it easy to understand.
Im a new to this part so I need advice as how to ship cinnamon rolls? And the type of packaging anyone has used for cookies and bread and cinnamon rolls. Thanks
Thank you so much for this video. I make keto desserts and many customers have asked if I can ship. I have no clue how to. Also, I ordered a dessert from another company just to get an Idea and noticed they used dry ice to keep it fresh. Do you have a video on that? TIA😊
What would you recommend for wrapping sourdough bread for shipping? Some say wrap in foil and then put in a plastic bag. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Shipping breads would be best in a plastic breathable bag. The type they have at bakeries with small holes for the bread to breath, if it is to hot wrapping in foil will allow the humidity from thebbread to create water and the bred will be mooshy upon delivery. If you local delivery I would do the same foil will be a bad type of packaging for fresh breads.
Great video! I bake (homemade) bread but they don't last as much as the commercial breads (I don't use preservative) usually at day 3 you can feel a change in its texture. Although still edible, not the freshness I would want. My bread orders are 1lb = 2 loaves (think 12-14 inch loaf rolls). Is there a faster way to ship my orders faster, not having them to reach their destination when they are soon losing freshness? Or would you recommend using preservatives? If so, any preservatives that you would recommend? - Thanks in advance and thanks again for this great video. You got a new subscriber :) - Clau
Hey I live in Texas my question is with the cottage food law it says to deliver it straight from you I wanna know what do I need to be able to ship my bake goods
I am trying to ship 4 loaves in one box. I have multiple people that would prefer 4 loaves at one time due to shipping cost. What size box if any can i use?
I did this too with brownies and smores. I put it in a vacuum pack and put in o2 absorber pack. But i fave difficulty to convince customers that it will still taste fresh.
@@MarketingFoodOnline , do you have suggestion on shipping brownies? I put in vacuum pack bag with o2 absorber. The parcel will ususally takes up to 3-4 days to reach to the customer...is this okay?
HEY CARLA !!! this will depend on the size of the ice packs and the cake....I like using 2-3 smaller ice pacsk put them AROUND the cake instead of a large heavy one you want the coolness to surround the cake !
Damien! Very cool and thanks for answering my question. The info was very helpful and I appreciate your abundance mentality mindset. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring the rest of us. Much appreciated. ~ Doc
